Sebastian at the front desk was extremely friendly and easy to schedule with. When I arrived for my appointment, Emily was calm, professional, patient, and thoroughly answered any questions I had throughout the process. Her studio space is immaculately clean and calming. Not to mention the actual tattoo is gorgeous - line work is perfect and almost a week later I feel great about my healing. She asked several questions ahead of time to make sure I was happy with the placement and sizing and I seriously couldn't be more pleased. Honestly can't wait to return for more!

She walked me through the process and was very patient. She also had helpful suggestions for the placement and font of my design. It was very easy to set up my appointment (I put down a $50 deposit) and the tattoo shop was very clean. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Ratatat Tats may be hard to find, but is worth the search. The shop is spotless and feels homey. This is important at a time when you’re sure to be taken out of your comfort zone. The artists understand how tattoos feel and truly care about the comfort of the patron. I had a black floral sleeve done by Emily, and the final product exceeded anything I could have expected. She worked quick, noticed when it started to get uncomfortable, and held great conversation that almost makes you forget the pain. 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: My second tat there and I'll never return again. These people have an attitude as if they are doing you a favor. No they are not, they are providing a service that you pay a lot of money for. You're allowing them to put permanent art on your body. There's way too many shops out here to have that type of attitude, weird. The last time i was there I had to put 250 down( way too much if you provide the art). Its nonrefundable. I had no choice but to stick it out. To ad I was definitely over charged, over 300 for line work, nothing else. Lesson learned. So I was stuck getting my tattoo from a hostile environment. The artist just completely ignored my emails and then I called and the guy blew me off as well. IDK what the issue was, I'm not a difficult person at all. I hate confrontation and often don't speak up for myself. I even got the art done even though I wasn't happy with it. So there i was, the day of the appointment, in an awkward situation. I will now have to have someone fix my tats and bring the artwork together. Yes the artist is good but so are many others. She seems to be limited to her own work. If you can't do the work don't accept the down payment. So yes this place is great for her art but not for creativity.. *Update* look at this guys response. It proves my point, just gross. The 1st time I had no problem which is why I returned, which is why I was disgusted by the treatment the second. Duh! This has always been my username, why would I change it for you? This is very real and you and Emily know it. So thanks good luck with that attitude and bye

Fantastic experience: I needed a coverup on my rib and had been told it wasn’t doable. The before photo is a rough design my friend did (which I sent Emily along with a few other ideas) and she designed the most beautiful butterfly for me. It’s the biggest piece I’ve done but having seen her work, felt confident she’d do well. She worked quickly, efficiently, and was so kind. Hoping to have her do more in the future. Sebastian was also super helpful as I called with a few questions!

Fantastic experience: This is my second tattoo with Emily. Her work is impeccable. The first was a large floral piece. This was a much smaller handwriting piece. She educated me on sizing of the handwriting and why it needed to be a certain size for longevity. She truly knows her stuff!
