Fantastic experience: I worked with Rose on this celestial piece. She was awesome! She and I designed this together from start to finish. She was patient and deliberate through that entire process, even when I wanted to move small pieces around! The session was fun and easy and I would absolutely work with her again (how many tattoos is too many to get in one week???)!

Negative experience: dude charged me $200/an hour to do a design he didn't even have to create and then stenciled it on crooked. Save your money and go elsewhere where the tattoers actually know what they're doing and won't overcharge you.

Fantastic experience: Went in yesterday to get some tiny tattoos - some heart “freckles”. The vibe of Tribe was so welcoming and clean! My artist Alex Guth was awesome and such a pleasure to work with. I had previously gone into a different et parlor for these tattoos and walked out bc the vibe was so unwelcoming. So glad I had such a great experience here!

Fantastic experience: I had an old tattoo that spread and I hated looking at it. Matt did an awesome job creating my beautiful cover up tattoo! I am very pleased. The shop is very relaxing, beautifully decorated and spotless. I felt extremely pampered and enjoyed the lollipops too. I had a special situation in that I was visiting from England and Matt worked with me over social media to create an awesome design that I fell in love with immediately. I highly recommend Matt Purdy, for beautiful work and cover ups. Matt also offers lifetime touch ups. He's just so awesome, great personality too! First photo was taken the day it was completed and second shows 4 weeks healed.

Fantastic experience: I seriously cannot say enough good things about Pessuti! From the moment you sit in his chair, you just know you're in good hands. He is incredibly talented! He listens, asks the right questions, and somehow takes your idea and turns it into something even better than you imagined. His attention to detail is unreal! Every line, every shade, everything he does shows how much pride he takes in his work. On top of that, he's a genuinely awesome person. Chill, down to earth, and easy to talk to. The whole experience feels personal and comfortable like you're hanging out with a friend who happens to be an incredible artist. And the shop? Absolutely the best I've ever been to. The staff is super friendly and professional. They always check in confirm appointments and make sure everything runs smoothly. The vibe in the shop is awesome, clean relaxed and full of good energy. You can tell everyone there loves what they do and cares about making it a great experience for every client. Honestly, between Pessuti's incredible talent and the amazing people at the shop I wouldn't trust my work with anyone else. If you're looking for an artist who's as skilled as he is genuine, and a shop that makes you feel welcome from start to finish, this is 100% the place!

If you have manga, or pop-culture themed tattoo’s in general, she can take your vision and add details that bring out the best work possible. Fantastic experience: 5/5 piercing experience (updated)… Despite an original mistake to one of the piercings I got, Tribe reached out and totally made up for that and I feel much better about my piercings and feel super happy with how the situation was handled. 5/5 tattoo experience with Nevin! I went in on Friday the 13th for my first tattoo and got a flash piece done by him and it was really well done. I’m super happy with it and the overall experience.

The lines on my tattoo look incredible, healed beautifully, and Emily has this cool unique style where i get complimented everywhere i go- especially from the spooky gays and theys. HIGHLY RECOMMEND EMILY AND ALL THE TRIBE CREW!! i’ve also gotten pierced here many times and have always felt comfortable and have all healed great.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Tribe since 2021 and I’m never disappointed. Erik is the best. He is super talented. He doesn’t apply a lot of pressure when he’s tattooing so it doesn’t hurt as bad compared to other artists I’ve seen; and very easy to talk to and very nice.

He was patient with my son as he made his final decisions about size and placement and made great suggestions. His work was perfect and exactly what my son wanted. And he was just a genuinely good guy. I should also mention that every artist's work station was thoroughly cleaned after each client by 1 or 2 employees. Fantastic experience: I am pleased to say that Tribe Tattoo surpassed my expectations far beyond I thought possible. My experience was phenomenal from start to finish. To say that this is a great shop would actually be an insult. This is a remarkable shop, with the most incredible folk making it all work. Front desk staff are kind, diligent, and knowledgeable. While the artists are all highly skilled, professional, and true creatives at heart. If you are new to tattoos or have a bunch like myself, this is your new home for all your ink needs. The cleanliness, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly faces really push your tattoo expierence into a new level of quality. Promise. Need proof? They have a changing table for babies in the MENS restroom. Let me tell you as a solo dad... There are multimillion dollar facilities that don't think of us dads in this way. To see this level of detailed care in a tattoo shop almost had me in tears. (*ahem but us tattooed solo dads don't cry right? ) Annnnd my tattoo artist was Nick. I was honored to be his canvas and I will surely be back! He is one hell of an artist, and I am so pleased to have gotten to know him and his creativity! Truly the BEST shop in Colorado.

Fantastic experience: If 10+ stars were available, it still wouldn’t be enough. Hands down, best tattoo artists and shop in Denver. I’ve been to several places in the past and Tribal Tattoo is the best. Can’t say enough good things about them. Extraordinarily kept clean and sterile! Multiple artists (16 in total, I believe) and all of them are extremely polite, easy going and professional. Customer service is exceptional. If you’re looking for your next tattoo, go check them out…you’ll see what I’m talking about. A huge thank you to John (the owner) for putting my tribal design together. Love it!!

Negative experience: Edited to add in response to shop: ( Assuming that the double negative in your response was a mistake) I chose to write a review because it appears you have incompetent piercers. Quality is based on competence, and reviews are for sharing the quality of services with the public. Based on your response it also appears your customer service leaves much to be desired. In an oversaturated market, some level of integrity is expected. Called because I have a high nostril, and the ring fell out to see if someone was around to just pop it back in because it's hard to fit more than one finger up your own nose. Explained it's not really that high, just a little higher than regular ol nostril piercings. Also, is a fairly common piercing everywhere I've been. Had the jewelry, and a retainer in as I mentioned. They put me on hold, and was told the piercer didn't feel comfortable doing a high nostril. Went down the street a block on a walkin and had it done in 3 minutes. If you're not confident to do something that simple, you probably shouldn't be piercing.

Fantastic experience: I cannot possibly say enough about my experience with Alex. As a first-time tattoo-getter, he made every step of this process feel seamless and natural: from the walk-in consultation, when he understood immediately was I was aiming for and offered suggestions to modify and improve the original idea, to the reassurances he offered in both the lead-up and aftermath of my appointment. As much as can surely be said about his technical prowess and artistic ability (both of which are tremendous), I can't imagine anyone in Denver being a better and more comfortable option for a first-timer. A gazillion stars, if only that were an option here.

Fantastic experience: I came from MT on vacation and Tribe got my husband and I in last minute and were amazing! The vibe at Tribe is 10/10! My artist was Andy and I will def be making another trip to Denver to get another tattoo by him. He did an amazing fine line piece. Very light handed. It felt like I was hanging out with a friend getting a tattoo. My husband also got exactly what he asked for and Akos was his artist! He did some amazing work! I would def recommend TRIBE.

Fantastic experience: There are so many great things to say about this place. The 1st thing you notice is the awesome location and building. It’s not creepy and dark like a lot of tattoo shops. There’s so much natural light flowing through which definitely boosts your mood. Next, every•single•person•you encounter is friendly. From Holly at the front desk to the apprentices running around keeping’s tidy, and obviously the artists. They want you to feel welcomed for sure. Ohhhh and the best of the best is….these are the cleanest restrooms in any establishment I’ve visited and nope, it’s not a fluke, I’ve had 3 appts over a couple months and it’s always clean. My artist, Delaney is so sweet and kind. Her talent is beyond what I expected. From the planning process to the very end, she listened to what I wanted, was honest about what would look RIDICULOUS, and was able to offer her artistic expertise in helping me come up with an alternative idea. So sorry for the lengthy review but this is the only tattoo shop I’ll visit as long as I’m in Denver.

Negative experience: I came in on 10/10/24 and got what I can honestly say has turned out to be the worst piercing of my life. I initially noticed a day or two later that the placement was a little strange and seemed to be closer to the edge of my ear than I expected but I chalked it up to swelling and jewelry that was too large for the placement. As time went on, I could tell that the placement was definitely off so I went to another shop to see if I should take the piercing out immediately or see if it heals. I was told that the placement was not good, but I could give it some time to see if I am able to heal it so that’s what I did. About a month after the initial piercing, when I was cleaning it, I noticed I could see what looked like the bar for my jewelry through my ear (see attached photo). I initially intended to leave it in and wait to come back when this shop opened, but it was so close to coming out of my skin that I decided later that day to just take it out so that it could heal and I could get it re-pierced at a different shop with a piercer that I know I can trust. When I took the jewelry out the remaining edge of my skin came with it, leaving a chunk missing out of my tragus (see attached photo). I emailed the shop explaining what had happened and requesting a refund, but was told that I should have come in sooner and I would not get any sort of refund. Save your money and skin and stay far away from this place.

Fantastic experience: Mady pierced my eyebrow and did such an amazing job!! I have a cyst in my eyebrow but she was able to assess my anatomy and work with it to get the placement perfect and safe!! She did it so fast I barely felt it and was patient with me when I got nervous, 10/10 experience all around!!

When I can in, he had a few designs for me to choose from based on the original idea. The whole session was relaxing and the crew was friendly and engaging. Fantastic experience: I've gotten two pieces done with Elvis. Everyone is friendly there and approachable. They do a good job of confirming appointments in advance. Everything is clean and comfortable inside the studio. Prices are fair. The artists are really talented. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting from out of state. I saw their sign that said walk-ins welcome. When I got inside, I was greeted by very friendly staff. They asked me what I needed and hooked me up with an Artist. Matt took the time to understand what I wanted on my tattoo. I wanted to add embroidery floss and a needle next to my scissors tattoo. I feel like I couldn’t even feel the needle as he was tattooing my arm. He did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this tattoo studio. I love the vibe and environment here.

Negative experience: I got a flash tattoo here in 2021 as a present. Didnt think much to write a review because ya a simple flash tattoo cant expect much but i did ask if it could get touched up after healing because a few lines were off and got treated like an idiot for asking that. Fast foward to 2024 yes i set up my clothes on THE SIDEWALK like all first Friday vendors. Not your patio lol. As i was setting up you decide to come slam your tables in front of my racks an scream like an man child “i pay taxes for this sidewalk” “get lost kid” ( i have it on film lol its great) so yes I decided to make my review after being disrespected and im just saying you will find better artist and customer service just about any where else

Fantastic experience: I love this shop! Every one of the staff are so nice and supportive! Maddie did my most recent piercings and she took time to make sure I knew what was going on, and make sure I was comfortable! If you want a tattoo or a piercing this is the place.

Fantastic experience: Was in town for the weekend and wanted to get a matching tattoo with my boyfriend and they took us as a walk in two hours before close. Alex did my tattoo and it looks phenomenal, also very friendly and personable. Made the whole experience easy and welcoming. They also took our pictures on my polaroid upon my request which was super cool of them. Overall a great experience and I recommend Alex & the whole establishment for anyone’s next tattoo!

Fantastic experience: Amazing shop with an amazing vibe. I researched Tribe before coming to town and the shop spent a lot of time working with my timeline and idea from a distance. That’s unheard of. The coverup in black and white detail that Matt did was perfect. Do not hesitate to go to Tribe. Matt will be my go to, but everyone in the shop was top notch.

Fantastic experience: Walked in this afternoon for a set of tattoos with a friend. I had Mimi and my friend had Alex. Both were great, professional, and sweet. Mimi did a very fine line tattoo on my ankle, something very meaningful to me and she was quick and felt like a light touch. My finger was next and she warned it would be spicy, but again wasn't too bad. We are both very happy with the results.

Fantastic experience: Came in with three girlfriends to get spontaneous tattoos to complete our trip to Colorado. Everyone was so nice and so excited about the tattoos. Alex did an awesome job! The shop was so nice, such a cool vibe. We called ahead of time as it was a hour before closing, they were able to accommodate all four at once and we were in and out within an hour. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Visited about two weeks ago for my very first tattoo and set up an appointment with Emily! She's a newer tattoo artist, but I've never met somebody more friendly and professional than her. Emily answered all of my questions with a smile on her face and I absolutely LOVE the flash piece she gave me. All the artists and apprentices in the shop were extremely friendly; chatting it up with not only Emily but also me during the session! Love the vibes here, for sure recommend this place. Fantastic experience: This place and the people who work here are awesome. I called a few days ahead of time to see if they could accommodate walk-ins for 3-4 tattoos and they said it would be no problem. A few days later, I walk in with a group of 4 and within 15-20 minutes we were all set up with an individual artist. Alejandro was my tattoo artist and his fine line work is INCREDIBLE. He was super methodical and careful with placement, and has the cleanest lettering I have ever seen. Also, the tattoo shop as a whole is really mellow, super clean, lots of space, it’s perfect. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have come to Tribe twice, and each time they have taken my group as walk ins. The requests were simple enough, but they really make you feel like your tattoo matters no matter how small. While each artist has an incredible art style all their own, and they could certainly be doing cooler tattoos than a fine-line seashell or quote, they were so professional and so kind, that I will be coming here exclusively for my tattoo needs! I know eventually I will want to get a large tattoo, and starting with the Tribe artists will be my obvious first step. They have such talented artists and they showcase them all in such a lovely way! Thank you for always taking care of me and my friends when I come in! Violetta, Dom, and Sara were such kind, caring professionals!

Fantastic experience: Traveled from out of state to bring my sweetheart there for her and my tattoos because of the lore surrounding the excellent work and experience of the artists there...It's all very true. I was seeing some of the most amazing pieces being given while we there. We were extremely pleased with the work of our tattooist Zane, top notch and flawless. Owner John Slaughter has created an amazing place worthy of even just a visit to see the inside... a transformed former restaurant that is now a museum-like masterpiece tattoo/piercing studio with the kindest most masterful artists from around the country. As I mentioned, we traveled there from out of state, but my son unfortunately left his cellphone behind. Owner John Slaughter located it and shipped it back to us at no cost. Truly amazing experience. We will absolutely be back...again and again. Extremely highly recommended and worth the travel from wherever you are.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Zane for my past 3 tattoos and I couldn’t recommend him more! He’s a great artist and is educated in his craft. For anyone looking for an easygoing and interesting person to get some art from, Zane is your guy.

Fantastic experience: I went it to get a tattoo on my ribs. Zane was the best. Clean, professional, and explained everything throughly. Tribe has plenty of seating, refresments, and clean bathrooms. Music is perfect! I will be returning every time I visit Denver!

Negative experience: Called this afternoon to see about two walk in tattoos. Was told no problem and to head in. We arrived at about 1:37 and checked in. I needed time to decide what I wanted, so they said they would send someone over to talk with me shortly. My partner’s artist came over and got right to it. Started talking through it with him and working out the design. I was excited to have the same conversation, so I went back up to the desk to let them know I knew what I wanted. There were two girls at the front desk drawing. One of them asked what I was thinking, and I explained what I wanted. She told me that a few artists were finishing up and she’d send someone over in about 20 minutes or so. Not a word since. I sat on the couch while my partner’s work was being done. Looking over at the front desk, watching the employees talk and laugh with one another, I decided I was no longer interested in doing their job for them. I basically walked in, was immediately disregarded, and that was that. Not even an acknowledgment when we went up to pay for the one tattoo that did get done. We left close to 4. Eventually, I’ll get the piece I want, but it will be from a shop that’s actually interested in conducting business, not just hosting Sunday social hour at the expense of potential customers.

Fantastic experience: Genevieve at Tribe tattoo is so incredibly talented. I’ve gone to her for multiple tattoos (butterfly, chili pepper, cherries, and some flowy line work) and she always brings my vision to life in the most creative way! I highly recommend going to her for any of your fine line needs. Trust the process — you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely gorgeous shop! This place gives the best vibes I love getting tatted here! This is my 3rd tattoo with Sara and she’s absolutely knocked it out of the park every time, I’ve never been disappointed! Don’t skip out on her work or even this shop they have so many badass artists.

Fantastic experience: I went in to see if someone could help with my super swollen ear from some piercings I just got and Emily was very sweet and offered to help. Even though she couldn’t do anything for me today she was still very helpful. I highly recommend her and this shop :)

Fantastic experience: Honestly. HONESTLY, one of the best shops I've been to. I did a consultation during Halloween weekend, decked out in decorations, came back 2 weeks later for the actual tattoo - immaculate, but with tattoo quirky vibes. It's actually pretty massive and so clean. You walk in and EVERYONE is so nice. You know how some shops you walk in and immediately like, "ohhh nooo...I should not be here". No, this shop is so friendly, so clean, the vibes are positive. As far as artists, I saw Nina and omg her work is absolutely stunning. She's so friendly and for me, I need to zone out during a tattoo and she was so cool with it. The entire time I felt comfortable to ask for a break if needed, readjust, whatever. And the ending tattoo: exactly what I wanted and more! Check out this shop and their artists (particularly Nina), it's so worth it!

Fantastic experience: I love Zane’s work so much. I have two of his flash pieces so far. The first I got on a Friday the 13th; despite the chaos, he was very attentive and inspired a lot of trust. He has definitely become my go-to tattoo artist for a lot of reasons. Besides being very obviously talented, he’s also very charismatic and cool <3

Fantastic experience: I have followed Sara Jean as an artist and I continue to fall more in love with her work as the years go by. I live out of state, but will plan an entire trip to be tattooed by her. Her work is beautiful and my tattoos heal so well when she does them. I can not recommend her enough. Loved this shops vibe too.
