Negative experience: This is a review on an artist, not the shop itself. I won a full day session from @tattoo_nickey on Instagram. He posted the winner on 12/31/25. We Made the appointment for 01/30/26. I communicated with him on the design that I had A.I. come up with and sent to him weeks before the appointment, on (01/01/26). The day before the appointment he moved it to an hour later than originally scheduled because something came up, (no big deal). Got set up and worked on design for a while and started tattooing. Had great conversation etc. He took a couple breaks and i ordered lunch to be delivered for us. (All fine and enjoyable tattoo experience). When we started getting into the afternoon he informed me that he does not work past 7pm no matter what so we will not be finishing the peice, but he wanted to get to a certain point so it wouldnt look incomplete. He did not get to that point, and said he felt bad he didn't finish because it should have been finished. He told me that we would schedule another half day to finish it and it would be included in the giveaway session. We scheduled the second session for Tuesday 02/17/26 at 12pm before I left the shop. On Monday the 16th I sent him a message to make sure we were still good for the appointment. He responded saying he meant to send me a message a couple days ago, but had something come up and is canceling our appointment. He said that he would get ahold of me tomorrow to re schedule. That was the last communication I have received from him. He has not even read any messages, let alone given any responses.

Fantastic experience: Nickey killed on my tattoo and touched up another I had. He was quick to communicate and his work is amazing. Go see him or the other artists at Aurora tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Me and the boys went in for their Friday the 13th special... Couldn't be happier. $40 after tip can't complain.

Fantastic experience: I have had a hard time finding an artist I wanted work from, until I came across Gundy. He has a good energy about him and is very communicative, which is a good thing when you are investing into art work. I am more introverted as a person, but in his chair; I still felt comfortable. My tattoo turned out amazing and it was a good price for the amount of love and passion he put into his work. I will definitely rebook with him in the future.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend coming to this shop and seeing Drew. Im from out of state and came in randomly one day and he did a solid little flash for me. Liked him and his work so much that when I was in town for the second time came and got another small piece. During it I noticed a cool piece he had worked on and he offered for me to come in the next day and put it on me. I let him have creative freedom with it and it turned out amazing. He even let me keep the practice skin. Great guy very creative, talented and kind. I’m hoping I get to come to Denver again just to go see Drew again!

Negative experience: i went to Gundy and brought my little sister and pretty much everything he said to her was condescending or disrespectful to her as an artist. bro charged me $100 for a little outline that took him like 45 min total. hes also anti-medicine which is sus considering he interacts w blood every day. he was also humming 2012 coldplay songs in my ear the whole time. TORTURE!

Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo here. Marco is a great artist, he did a great job. And he checked everything like 5 times before he started. The final product was just what I wanted. Would definitely go there again and recommend.

Fantastic experience: Brought my own design to Robert for the Veteran fundraiser flash tattoo this weekend. He was awesome! I walked in late due to work, but he took the time to make sure I got what I wanted and it looked impeccable! Even though I made him late to his other job, he didn’t complain at all and was pleasant to work with. Will definitely have to come back for more!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this shop. My artist was Kenyer and he is amazing! I got my tattoo on my foot. Everyone warned me it was going to hurt but I was determined. It sure did hurt and Kenyer made sure I was as comfortable as possible the whole time. The shop was very clean and organized. Everyone I met was very nice. Kenyer, thank you so much for an amazing tattoo. I’m coming back to see you when I figure out what my next piece is.

Fantastic experience: I am a Veteran, and over the years I have been in plenty, let's say, shops. This one is far from the best I have been in. Deacon is an incredible artist who gave me l like my 25th tattoo. The environment is incredible; Gundy is an outstanding man and artist who welcomed me in like I was family. All future work is going to be there.

She is also so kind and patient, and worked with me through the entire process to collaboratively design my (very) lower back piece! I would definitely recommend her for either a custom or any of her flash! The studio itself was also very clean, pleasantly decorated, and very respectful and professional.

Negative experience: I've come to realize that people in Colorado don't know how to conduct a business. I recently contacted this location the first time was months ago, the girl who responded at first I thought it was a receptionist but was a tattoo artist named Anna but stopped responding once I requested another person to do a tattoo. I've reached out three times and no response but luckily I found a better place that's professional.

Fantastic experience: I don't even know where to begin with this beautiful Shop. I've had several tattoos done over the last 15 years and I can confidently say that this has been the best experience for me. First when I called and Gundy answered. He was so kind and respectful when I informed him of my correct pronouns. He was patient with my 87 questions and had such a pleasant air about him. Then when I got to the shop, I was met with the warmest of welcomes, and no one bat an eye at my wheelchair. When I showed them the image I wanted, they were, again, incredibly sincere about how sentimental the 25 year old piece of paper was. Christian was my artist and this man was a breath of fresh air. He let me stay in my wheelchair, he didn't make a fuss. He even asked if there was anything they could do to make their shop more accommodating. He was open to conversation and that was huge for me This shop is a gem that Aurora should be so grateful to have. Thank you, boys. You have earned a loyal client.

Negative experience: My wife and I went in to get some tattoos and touch ups done. Our artist and the other artists there were wonderful, polite, and very talented. The problem with this location is the owner. The owner came in aggressive and angry being sexist and aggressive to my wife and our artist. He was rushing and being childish in front of customers. We watched during our session our artist wrongfully terminated and then refuse to listen to anything she or my wife said to explain the situation. He changed his demeanor entirely when talking to any guy there. It sounds like from the employees that were left, that this is why he can’t keep talent there.

They went above And beyond for me I would go back again every time I was playing I'm going back here soon after I get my paycheck cause I got 2 more tattoo ideas in mind. If you want to make sure you're getting a good tattoo job done and was entirely mannered and a very good price range make sure you come check these guys out because they'll do you right anyone won't mess you app like most other places will and then I apologize for it I guess place 5 at 5 stars I'll go there every time over and over again!!!
