Negative experience: Worst piercing experience I’ve ever had. My friend and I came in to get lobe piercings. The apprentice did my friends and they were awful. The apprentice couldn’t get the needle through her lobe and kept saying “oh shit”. The actual piercer did mine and she was alright. They never asked us what jewelry we wanted and ended up using butterfly backs which is a big no no for new piercings. Will never come back and only go to APP piercers from now on.

She was so good, quick and gentle. I only go to this place for my tattoos and piercings, and have been for the past 6 years. Definitely reccomend this spot to anyone for piercings or tattoos!

Fantastic experience: wanted a signature tattoed. walk ins were accepted and i was sat immediately after signing the disclosure. really welcoming environment. my tattoo artist was luke. he was very kind and communicative about each step of the tattoo. talked about coming back for more difficult tattoos over some damaged skin and assured me he could work with it when i truly thought it’d be a lost cause. 10/10 all around, will be returning and recommending the shop to others!

Fantastic experience: I just have to rave about Celena at Nocturnal Tattoos in Lakewood, Colorado. She did an absolutely amazing job on both mine and my husbands tattoos! Her specialty is black and gray realism, and you can really see the artistry in every detail. I was so impressed with how she captured the meaning behind our designs. We both got a Bible verse that’s really special to us and she made it look perfect. It felt like she gave us a piece of art that we’ll treasure forever. Highly recommend her!

I got to see so many of the different artists, talk with them, and see the work they did. They all do amazing work. The atmosphere felt like they were all family willing to help one another. I have gotten all my tattoos from Justin but I would highly recommend all the artists that work here. The 3 others and I are extremely satisfied with all the work Justin did for us and we will definitely be back for more.

Fantastic experience: This Guinness World Record holder, Stoke, keeps a great hand picked crew on staff that isnt mean, elitist, petty, or gatekeepy like other shops. They work together like a well oiled machine and every session I came in for was another chance for me to be blown away by the atmosphere of cooperation and BEAUTIFUL art.  The prices arent outrageous like in the tourist trap shops. Safety and cleanliness are priorities here and it shows. All vegan inks and materials ensure the best possible experience with your healing process so your sweet tats stay looking sweet...longer. Plenty of parking both out front and around back. There's a convenient store in the shopping center if you need some session snacks and a drink. Guest artists come pretty often and the resident artists are always happy to help your ink journey.

Fantastic experience: This is my third tattoo and it was such a great experience from start to finish! Not being from Denver, I searched online and read hundreds of reviews from several different shops. I settled on Nocturnal Tattoo - their reviews were so good and there was lots of pics to show the type of work done. I reached out and heard from Stoke, the owner of the shop, within like 30 minutes. He gave me options of artists and I chose Celena based on her flower work. Celena was super easy to work with - we texted back and forth and when I got to the shop for my appointment she had designs for me to look at. She was so patient as we tweaked things and ended with a design I loved. The shop was clean and comfortable and Celena made me feel comfortable right away. I am now about a week out from getting the tattoo and I absolutely love it!

Fantastic experience: I just went and got my next blasted by Samantha and she is an awesome tattoo artist. Very light handed, extremely professional and she took the time needed to make sure that the tattoos were exactly how I wanted them. Never making me feel rushed or as if I was being a burden for knit picking a few details. I love my tattoos. She did amazing work and I can't wait to be back in to get my next piece.

Fantastic experience: Truly an artist. Spent the time to make sure I understood what was happening and why. Super patient and thoughtful when placing stencils and redrawing them. Very nice shop, great staff. Everyone is friendly and willing to talk! If you’re looking for professional thought out work and not someone to tracing a stencil, this is absolutely the place to go.
