Michael is a seriously talented artist, and you can tell he really cares about his work and the details he puts into every piece. Everything about the process feels professional and comfortable, and the quality of work speaks for itself. Clean lines, great execution, and a solid overall experience. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for an artist that knows what they're doing. 10/10, on all my brother's tattoos as well.

Fantastic experience: Jay has done a majority of my ink and he is amazing,light handed, knows how to care for your skin during tattoo session, knows the art background of tattooing from best places with good skin or being able to tattoo with any type of skin condition or any condition you may have he is very experienced and very talented with tattooing skin to doing art on canvases. He is very talented in line work, shading, blending, coverups and etc. When you call or go in for ink work make sure to choose your tattoo artist wisely and carefully as this type art is typically permanent and the art you choose to place on your body unless you pay to remove. Check out Jay's work and if you choose him, you chose a top notch artist! My fish below is a cover up, my Pablo he did with my dogs ashes in the ink, btw!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been getting ink from Michael Wayman for about 5 years, and he’s been a blessing of an artist. I can always rely on him to bring my pictures and ideas to life, and always better than I could’ve expected. I’ve gotten about 20 pieces done with him, and I have yet to not love one. A great guy, phenomenal conversationalist, and reliable artist. Would give a 6th star if it was possible. Few of his pieces for me included here!

Negative experience: tattoo artist on site on halloween had a bad attitude.. y’all promoted the flash sale and got upset people actually coming like what lol and if y’all had restrictions on placement should’ve said that in ad

Negative experience: Michael is not only unprofessional but very difficult to work with. Get anyone but him.

Negative experience: My girlfriend and I planned a trip from NM to AZ so she could get tattooed by Michael Wayman. Everything seemed great at first — he responded quickly, took the deposit, and set the date. Then right before the appointment, he stopped responding completely. We called, texted, DMed — no answer. It’s really disappointing to see artists do this when people plan and pay ahead. Definitely not trustworthy. He then responded and promised to give the money back and then went silent again. He stole over 300$ from us.

Negative experience: This dude Michael Wayman is a joke. My friend booked him months in advance, paid the deposit, and even planned travel from New Mexico. Then outta nowhere, he ghosts her two weeks before the session. No reply, no refund, no professionalism. Don’t waste your time or money — there are plenty of better artists out there who actually respect their clients.

Fantastic experience: Jay did an amazing job on my tatoo. He took my idea and made it a masterpiece!

Negative experience: Went to the Friday the 13th flash sale and disappointed to say the least about my experience. Everything was very unorganized, no one knew what to do and no employees took the time to assist or make anyone aware of what to do. I had to ask around in the line for instructions and was able to put my number down to be called. I checked in at 6PM and waited outside for 3 hours which I understand it is a flash sale so longer times are expected but after the 3 hours I tried looking for an employee to get an update and no employee was around to assist. I ended up leaving and my number was never called so Imagine me waiting outside to not be called? I can say they did have a great selection of tattoos but really upset on how my experience was.

Negative experience: Friday the 13th tattoos great idea bad in practice. Their tattoos were too intricate and they weren't able to get through people fast. They had tickets as a way to keep track of people. There was someone there who had b12 and arrived at 12pm .... When we were there it was 7pm. They said it was a 3 hour wait but I call bull. They had only gotten to a70. My number was c13. They also plan on stopping all tattooing by midnight.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend David, he puts a lot of thought and care into his work. He’s very easy to work with when it comes to getting your design exactly how you want it!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had five Tattoos done here at this shop. Everyone of them turned out great. Chris the owner has done three of them himself and all of the shop staff is always friendly. I’m moving to Oklahoma soon and will honestly be coming back out to this shop just for more work when I visit friends and such. Can’t say enough good things about the shop and it’s owners, great shop, great people, great work!

Fantastic experience: Hubby and I were visiting Arizona for the first time and wanted lizard tattoos. I messaged them about what we wanted and that we were heading home the next day and if we could just come in without an appointment. We went in around 4 and Matt pointed us to Aaron who assisted us right away. He was outgoing and took the time to help us get exactly what we wanted. Aaron did my hubby’s ink and Matt ended up doing mine since he was available. They both had good personalities and made you feel very comfortable. Matt even talked to my hubby to make sure it was okay getting up close and personal with me due to the location of my ink. Aaron made conversation through the whole process and Matt would converse when he didn’t have the needle to the skin. Matt was very precise and paid attention to detail. He went over it several times because he knew I couldn’t just come back in for a touch up. The atmosphere was very chill, the shop was clean and even the music selection was spot on. It wasn’t the head banging music where they’re screaming and you can’t understand the lyrics I would recommend Matt and Aaron to anyone looking for ink!

Fantastic experience: Setting up an appointment with Michael was so smooth I was almost surprised. My past experiences with tattoo artists are that they're generally the flakiest mfs ever but Mike was very professional. I got both elbows done, was in the shop for about 3 hours. The care was great, he made sure I was comfortable and knew when he was starting, so no surprises jumps. Mike was very pleasant to converse with during the tattoo. And the other artists at the shop are also very friendly. I have art from Mike at my house, now I have some on my body. Update: I went back! I recently attended the body art expo in Phoenix and had the literal worst tattoo experience of my life it made me appreciate Mike even more. I went back today for an appt and got my forearm done with a sick wendigo. Michael wayman is an incredible tattoo artist and a great time to be around

Positive experience: My daughter and I walked in on a Tuesday because there was no answer when calling. Although the door said by appointment only they were able to get my daughter right in for her piercing. The place was clean, the guy was super friendly and he even gave my daughter the option to pick her own music to listen to when he got started. The atmosphere was laid back but still professional. I would recommend Evocative Tattoo to anyone looking to get a quality piercing at a reasonable price! SN: They had some pretty cool things to see in the shop so don't be shy to browse and read the cool signs.

We stopped in to see what the price would be. Michael ended up drawing up our piece and let us know the price. The work that was done was beyond what we paid for. Fantastic experience: I’ve gone here for multiple tattoos and piercings and have been completely in love with everything done. my most recent visit was getting my septum pierced by diamond and he did amazing, i also got my nipples pierced by him a year ago was and they healed perfectly. I can speak for both my friend and I when we say we were blown away. Diamond gave us the best first experience for a tattoo. I will now only let Diamond tattoo me. Fantastic experience: After being tattooed by Diamond, I do not think I would let another artist tattoo my body. I was considering going back to my tattoo artist in California, but DIAMOND exceeded my expectations. Diamond was so professional and artistic. I had a cover up done by him and it came out way better than I imagined. Before he began, I selected two pictures online for him to work with. He quickly drew and out and we got started. This tattoo is by far my favorite piece on my body. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DIAMOND. I was so satisfied with my piece that I told I will return to get my next piece SOON. He was so courteous and asked if I mind him playing Marilyn Manson, which I did not mind. Other artists listen to what they want to without asking their clients. Once he started the session, we watch YouTube videos and conversated about them, which was pretty amazing. CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK, just need the $$.

Fantastic experience: I came in because my other tattoo artist had something come up. A friend of mine is a tattoo artist here and was boomed but we were able to find someone to do my first tattoo. Ally is a new tatto artist but she has a very steady and soft hand. I was scared of the needles but she made me feel comfortable. I would and will recommend everyone who wants a tat to come to this place and be tatted by their artists. The place is very clean, comfortable feeling when yoy walk in and just everyone is friendly and welcoming. They do amazing work and just all around great people to be around for either a short time or a long time.

Out of the 20+ pieces I have, the one I got there was by far the highest quality I've had. Tommy is super light handed and lays the lines down super quick. You would be foolish not to give this shop a try. My go to shop for all my future work for sure. Appreciate you guys!

Not only was he super cool and professional his work is on point. Fantastic experience: I love my tattoos by jose at evocative tattoo. The shop is very clean. Everyone there is always friendly. Jose is an amazing artist, very professional, nice and caring. After I got my tattoo we found out I am allergic to red ink, which is actually kind of common. Jose checked in on me frequently to make sure i was okay and the tattoo was healing up good. You can tell he really enjoys his jobs and doing what makes his clients happy. Even if you dont want a tattoo check out his art work. He does amazing paintings. And remember support local artists. You can spend 40 bucks at walmart or target for the wall hanging that everyone else has, or you can spend that money on something from a local artist that no one else will have. And Jose has some amazing paintings!!!

Fantastic experience: After moving to Arizona I didn't know where I was going to get tattooed. Evocative has become my go to shop. The first time I went in and talked to the owner Chris, he gave me the confidence to schedule an appointment and get my whole back fixed. I had a 4 year old outline of a reaper and it was not done very well to say the least. Chris put in the work to get it fixed and finished and now we are going to start working on a bunch of new stuff. My wife has also been tattooed and pierced here. Jose did my wife's nose piercing along with piercing both of my daughters ears. He made them all feel comfortable and it worked out great.

I personally recommend Michael Wayman, but the shop is filled with talented artists. Solid 10/10 tattoo shop.

Fantastic experience: Ben Friday helped me with a very quick walk-in and was patient, detailed, and methodical with stenciling and inking which I really appreciated. He is a talented visual artist and if I were you I’d not only peruse his portfolio but also just go to the shop and see for yourself the inviting atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Been working with Bradley Brown for a sleeve on myself as well as a should piece with my sister in law, and should piece for my wife. In short, he's got the eye of an artist, and technique of a master tattoo artist. He's the real deal. I have around 18 hours of work from him and I'm currently scheduling my next session right now. Gotta also say that the equipment he uses mixed with his awesome technique makes sitting for long periods easy.
