Fantastic experience: Right when I entered the establishment I was greeted with hospitality. The shop was clean and well put together. All the artists spoke and made me feel welcome. I came to get a tattoo and I got exactly what I asked for, I left with some of the best work I’ve ever had. I will definitely be coming back to get more work done and I will be sending more people their way. 10 out of 10

Fantastic experience: SHOUTOUT TO JUG!!!!!!! I have been to this shop multiple times and every time all of the artists are very kind and welcoming. I had a great experience with Jug (@xxclusiveee_ on ig) She was nice, very professional and a great communicator. She bought me snacks during the session and even offered me pizza that shop had ordered. She was very quick and light handed and I absolutely love my tatt. She was very good at bringing my vision to life. You are the best I couldn’t really get a good pic lol but here is one month healed SHOUTOUT TO PEEZY!!!!! She was very sweet and attentive to detail. I love that she took her time with my ankle tatt and was very light handed. I can’t wait to come back and get more work from both artist. Fantastic experience: First time customer at 1upink. Hit up Jay on Instagram about an insane CSM Aki piece he wanted to knock out and that he did. Very professional and welcoming making the entire experience a great time. The whole shop passed the vibe check and I’ve haven’t felt more at ease in a tattoo studio. If you’re ever in the dallas area or don’t mind a little drive and you’re looking for a clean anime piece make sure this place is at the top of your list. Will definitely be a returning customer.

My husband and I drove from Northeastern Oklahoma to visit this shop for our 23rd wedding anniversary and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Suuz worked with us the entire day. She was incredibly detailed, listened to what we wanted and executed like a BOSS!!! The atmosphere in the shop made me feel like I was at home with my family. The artists support one another, provide feedback to one another that promotes growth and encourages pride in the work the shop does as a whole. I will ABSOLUTELY be making this 5.5 hr drive again and again to continue providing this shop with all my skin art business!!!

Negative experience: Went for Friday the 13th tattoos.. me and my bf have gotten multiple over the years but were very disappointed and unhappy with the experience here. My tattoos are very deep and are hurting and bleeding more than any others I have gotten, other customers outside said the same. My bf’s artist said he couldn’t make his flash designs smaller while the exact same designs were smaller and the right size for me. my bf also was also told to lean back in his chair and it broke and caused him to fall and he was not helped up or apologized to, his artist also cut him on the wrist with the shaving razor. VERY unprofessional, too fast and too deep, will not feel comfortable coming here again.

Fantastic experience: Hiii I got a tattoo this Sunday and I came back for a little update it’s healing amazingly and is looking even better I got 2 decent sized sharks where she not ONLY knew it was my first tattoo and was soooo patient with me I even made her change my stencil while one shark was already tattooed on me so go book with Peezyyy she’s so kind and funny and even gave me a little bit of balm for the healing process and walked me thru everything! Fantastic experience: Great artist. Good patience and does not go deep with needle. And I got a neck tattoo it was the easiest going experience. I have tattoos everywhere. And that was the least painful one done.

Positive experience: My brother and I were looking for a shop to get our matching sibling tattoos, so we tried this shop. We did walk in an hour before closing, but our artist still got us in and was patient with us as we went through the process of sizing, placement, etc.. my brother’s tattoo looks amazing! My tattoo, however, had a few mistakes. While it is still adorable, the letters were switched on the stencil. It was pretty small, so no I did not catch it, but knowing my artist had the picture I’d think the letters would line up how they did in my original photo. That, and while I did want it small, the lines are a little too thin for my liking. I understand artists have to make it bigger the more details there are, and have no problem with that. I’m not sure if it was a lack of communication on my end, or what happened. Still appreciative our artist worked with us, but just a little disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I received an Avatar Roku to add to my Avatar leg sleeve. I had a great experience and service. I did a trade for tattoo and brought in Funkos. It was a straight forward process. Definitely will be back to trade for another. While getting tattooed I listened to Pnut give his artists tips and advice. I could tell he is extremely passionate about what he does and wants his artists to succeed. I also have a new anime to watch now to Beserke. P.S. after watching Beserke in the shop and learning the lore and meaning. Anyone with that curse tattoo I’m internally judging you now lol. Overall a great experience and will be back again soon to work with him.

Negative experience: Reached out to an artist to design a tattoo and paid a deposit to book appointment an over a week ahead of time. Never saw design ideas until a few hours before the appointment time the day of the appointment even after reaching out 2 days before. Asked about rescheduling and was told I had to pay to reschedule. Overall disappointed in the professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I Traveled from Michigan to Dallas to get an anime tattoo by Jugg at 1UpInk, and it was 100% worth it. Great service, clean shop, and top-quality work and the whole shop is very welcoming.The tattoo came out exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend Jugg if you’re looking for anime tattoos.
