Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with my experience. I had a laser tattoo removal appointment scheduled for 12:00 and was coming from over an hour away. Due to traffic, I messaged in advance to let him know I would be about 15 minutes late. He asked me to text him when I arrived. I arrived in less than 15 minutes late and immediately texted that I was outside. My message was not opened, and I sat waiting in my car for 35 minutes with no response. Eventually, I had to leave. He didn’t open my message until about an hour later and never replied or offered any explanation. This was a complete waste of my time and diesel, and very unprofessional. If appointments and communication aren’t taken seriously clients should be made aware. I would not recommend based on this experience.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. I paid in advance for a tattoo removal appointment and Arthur never showed up on time, with no communication or apology. I was left waiting alongside another client while he tried to manage both appointments simultaneously. I hope he will pay me that money back. This was highly unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I would not recommend this service.

Fantastic experience: I just finished a 3 hour session with my good friend Arthur (Art Tattoo Galway) on Sunday morning guys, yes Sunday and thats how dedicated and loyal Arthur is to his customers and friends, ive been to many sessions with him over the years , this day he completed, my neck tat, my full back of hand tattoo and all my knuckles, no pain, no blood, no drama, Whatever tunes you want take a cigarette break if you want , but hes such a professional and swift at his job you dont need a break he gets the job done and the results are amazing, I would give him 10 stars , hes in Terryland retail people if your thinking about some ink A big shout out to "Art Tattoo Galway Regards Declan

Fantastic experience: My grandmother and I visited Galway from the USA, and stopped here to get a momento tattoo for our trip. CJ took great care of us. He is extremely talented, gentle handed and a wonderful personality. This was my 6th tattoo, so I am very familiar with the process and I can genuinely say he is an amazing tattooist. My grandmother is 84, and after seeing him give me a tattoo she decided to get a matching one by him. Afterwards she said, "WOW, it doesn't even feel like I had one done! And it looks amazing." If you are in Galway ask for CJ, you will not be disappointed!

Positive experience: This evening I spent almost an hour waiting outside of the shop, door locked, no sign, seemingly no one inside. Two days prior I had DMed the shop to confirm I would be in at that time; which they agreed with. There was another person arrived about 10 minutes after me, he said he had an appointment! When it came close to the hour, I got fed up and left. I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism, especially when I had previously had good experiences here (the reason I gave 3 stars rather than 1). Communication needs to be improved.

Fantastic experience: Called in and Cj picked up really helpful over the phone went in the next day showed him what I want and he changed a few parts made it look way better got the tattoo done very professional saying it looks good is an underestimate it looks amazing had goosebumps with the finished product. If you need tattoos done Cj is the man Thanks Cj will be back soon

Negative experience: I’ve just seen online today someone’s terrible experience with Artur from Art Tattoo Galway, which had led me to write my own. Firstly I’m absolutely horrified by the state of the work Artur is putting out recently, he’s allowing unfinished tattoos to leave his studio and they are a poor reflection on him. My own experience of Artur doing my Sleeve was highly unprofessional and regrettable. Artur was hungover for every session which led to poor work quality and appointment times getting shortened but still charging for a full day. I was often left outside the front door wondering if the shop is open or closed as the door was locked but became apparent that he was upstairs in bed. Later telling me he sleeps at the premises, no excuse to be late! There are so many other great tattoo artists/ shops in Galway that you can go to where your time will be respected & you will be treated in a professional manner. Unfortunately I think this shop has lost interest and its touch. Best avoid so you don’t have a regret for life!

Fantastic experience: My friends and I came in for the typical American shamrock tattoo for celebrating our Ireland trip. This place is great!! Everyone is friendly and extremely talented. Reasonable prices and totally worth it!!! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo with Colm (Cj) yesterday and the talent he has is next level . He helped me transform my tattoo I got a year ago and he helped me turn my idea into a design . Was so nice and easy to talk to ! Will definitely be coming back

Fantastic experience: Went in for my first tattoo with a little drawing of my dog and it was made up for me there and then, I was super nervous but everyone was so nice and welcoming those feelings went away so fast, the tattoo is amazing and only made me want to get more! Negative experience: Went for a tattoo removal some time back, whoever was supposed to do it never showed up left me sitting there for half an hour before I got up and left. Not one person from the studio did a thing they just left me there. Absolutely useless. Avoid.

He worked with us closely to design something that perfectly matched our vision, and made the whole "first tattoo" experience feel less scary. As walk-ins, my sister and I were worried our experience would feel rushed, but it wasn't at all. Our artist made sure we felt just as supported as any other client, and I would totally recommend Art Tattoo to anyone looking to get their first tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Colm for doing my tattoo last Sunday, a lovely fella very friendly,professional & talented,he was very attentive and listened to what i wanted & also offered his opinion which i took on board, i was a little nervous as it was over 20yrs since my last tattoo, & I can definitely say that it was less painful than back then, but then Colm was very gentle & kept checking i was ok . Negative experience: marked my skin with ink. at first I thought nothing of it, as I just assumed it was bruising. waited to see if it changed colour/faded but no, it's been over a month now and im still left with the mark beside my tattoo.

Fantastic experience: I got a tattoo on my arm and it was by far the most professional and high quality service I've had from a tattoo shop. Louis (not sure if I spelled that correctly) put an impressive amount of effort and care into crafting my tattoo. I gave him an image and he changed it to suit what I wanted quickly. He spent 5 hours going over every single shape and shade in meticulous detail. He did the same for my partner right after. And this was all from a walk-in. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Went in for a walk in main tattoo artist was very professional. Got tattooed by the apprentice two of us went in. Prices were agreed told me needed cash prices were changed when we went to pay Pass remarkable on how some of my tattoos needed work. Hygiene standards could be approved by apprenticeship did friends tattoo petted a dog in between didn’t was her hands and proceeded to set up the tattoo gun to do mine…. Wasn’t happy getting guidance from main tattooist No waivers to be signed or even seen. Would go to main tattooist not apprentice
