Scheduled appt month in advance, sent pics of what we kinda wanted, then asked for a couple last minute changes that they easily accommodated. Great line work and care, clean studio, even got great recommendations for some meals! Would definitely go back if ever in Ireland again!

I am particular about who I get tattooed by (i.e., if I don’t vibe with a tattooer, I’m not going to feel comfortable letting them touch me for an hour+). We were greeted with smiling faces who were able to get us right in. Karolina created EXACTLY what I wanted and made sure it was placed where I liked. Molly (the manager) is lovely, super helpful & incredibly welcoming and Keven was equally lovely and accommodating, as well as a highly skilled artist. We had a tricky placement and he went out of his way to ensure I was happy with the placement and was extremely thorough before we even began the tattoo. I have been getting tattoos done around the world for at least a decade now and this experience was truly one of the best. Fantastic experience: I'm so happy I found Galway Bay Tattoo while traveling through Ireland! I drove past this shop and spontaneously decided to get a little tattoo. Molly in the front is great; she made me feel comfortable by asking the right questions and helping me through the process of decision making. Dimitri was my tattoo artist; he was professional and listened well to my requests. He was a little hesitant to do a small and simple/fine line tattoo which I can understand given the long-term factors so we compromised with a little thicker line and slightly larger size for my primitive spiral. I wanted something very basic which I'm sure isn't exciting for the artist but I appreciate the shop supporting my idea. Thanks again, I wish you all the best and will always have a fond impression/ memory from my short visit at Galway Bay.

Fantastic experience: 12 years ago, my husband and I each got a tattoo at Galway Bay Tattoo and now, 12 years later, we came back - and we didn't get disappointed again! Our tattoos were perfectly done by Dmitri (my husband's Triskele) and Keven (shamrocks/flower). My tattoo was even better than expected, the stencil drawn freely on my arm, tattoed in perfect colors. We had a great time, everyone was so friendly! Next time in Galway, we'll be back - hopefully earlier than 12 years :)

His talent is unmatched and he is the coolest, most professional artist I have ever had tattoo me. I will be making another trip to see him again soon! Fantastic experience: I had a lovely experience in Galway Bay Tattoo. Keven really puts so much time into designing the stencil, showing me a variety of sizing to choose from and really double checked the placement of my koala! He even took a few pics with the stencil on to see if I was happy with how it looked when I moved around. Being a wee bit nervous he puts you at so much ease! He’s a top bloke and I had great craic with Molly at the desk! I will be definitely coming back for another piece, maybe a sheep I would recommend people to come here

Fantastic experience: Great experience! We decided to get the tattoos we were trailing about for like half a year now while on our holiday in Ireland. Never did we anticipate that the great artists would have time for us and actually be so welcoming and interested in our ideas. Jodi made my treaty tattoo something I would not have thought of - strong, pretty and irish at the same time. Just like her. I'll always gladly think back to the experience when looking at my tattoo. Can definitely recommend. But as with any tattoo - think about it, know what you want and then trust your artist to make it come to life for you.

We are visiting from the states and each wanted to bring a little piece of this beautiful place back home with us. Karolina stayed after her shift to finish 1/4 of us and potentially missed her train. Amazing. Keven worked 3 hours past close to finish up the rest of us 3. Fantastic experience: Dropped in for a walk-in family tattoo during a trip from the USA and had the best experience. Our tattoo artist karolina did an amazing job on each of our whales. They match the family crest to a T. The rest of the staff were beyond wonderful and created such a friendly environment. I would go out of my way to travel back to Galway to get another tattoo here!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to review the studio right after my appointment yesterday, but just didn‘t know where to start. Everything went better than great, I made contact via Instagram and always got a quick, helpful and friendly response. I specifically requested Karolina as my Tattoo artist because I liked her work and holy moly, that was the perfect decision. Also via Insta, I contacted her directly with questions about her ideas and drafts and even though she was on holiday, she made time to answer and sent me her designs as soon as she got home. Along the way, she always made sure I’m happy with whats happening and respected every request. I ended up with a cute gecko on my leg and I still can‘t decide who‘s more adorable - the tat or the artist (don‘t take it the wrong way, in this case „adorable“ also means highly professional and skilled). The whole studio was very clean and there were a lot of things to look at while getting inked (my dumb @ss looked into the bright ceiling light for too long though, don‘t do that if you don’t want to see dots the whole day). Karolinas machine is really quiet and with her filigree technique, I felt as comfortable as possible the whole time. The price for everything was fair as well, all in all I‘m just thankful. So, if you‘re still reading this, long story short: I love it, you should go there. Bye.
