Fantastic experience: I was visiting Galway and passed the sign for Galway Tattoos. On a whim I went in to get a tattoo I had been wanting. I was able to be seen right away. My tattoo turned out exactly like I wanted. It never got dry and peeled. I would highly recommend this shop. It was clean, service was great. I would definitely use them again.

Negative experience: mistakes were done on the tattoo and weren’t informed on them, gave me a tattoo that i didn’t ask for, i originally wanted them to make their own art for the tattoo but instead they used the exact reference. touch up was patchy and crossed the lines. incredibly disappointed and angry

Negative experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Jeff – he is absolutely incredible and I highly recommend him. His professionalism, talent, and attitude are everything you’d want. That being said, the receptionist (long hair, glasses) and another tattoo artist Aaron in the shop were shockingly rude. We arrived 15 minutes early and were met with an attitude as if we’d done something wrong. Being told to “maybe go for lunch or coffee and come back on time” came across as patronizing and completely unnecessary. It genuinely made us feel stupid for simply showing up a little early. To make matters worse, as we turned to leave, they pulled faces behind my mother’s back. That kind of behavior is childish, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable in a customer-facing role. Jeff deserves all the credit in the world, but the rest of the staff’s attitude left a really sour taste.

Fantastic experience: Came in with an idea and Jeff delivered exactly what I wanted and more. I did not wait and all went super well and I paid a fair price. I definitly recommend the shop to anyone wanting to get a cool tattoo in Galway.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal service from start to finish! Walked in on a whim on vacation & made a reservation; When I arrived, Aaron took the utmost care of me. Very personable, very friendly, truly felt like an old friend in the way he dealt with me. I selected a flash stencil for a memory and he crafted a beautiful work on me. His speed, attention to detail, welcoming attitude, and overall care for his craft has left me with a genuine work of art that I’m proud to display on my arm for the rest of my life. Cannot recommend this shop enough. Even if you have to wait/book in advance, I assure you it is worth it. 10/10, cannot gush enough about this cool hole in the wall parlor.

Fantastic experience: This is my third time in this tattoo place, I think this tattoo place is class as it’s like a hidden gem but when you find it you won’t be disappointed, today I got a Claddagh ring tattoo done by Jeff one of the tattooist, he done a tattoo for me before and I wasn’t disappointed so I had to get another by him as he is a very patient, talented and friendly tattoo artist. I think the price was reasonable, the place was clean and hygienic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this tattoo place as I have never been disappointed by my experiences.

Fantastic experience: Walked in with my wife and two adults daughters to get tattoos to memorialize our family trip to Ireland from the USA. The staff were absolutely top notch, welcoming and friendly. Aaron and Gabriel were the tattoo artists that took care of us and they were each phenomenal. I have multiple tattoos and can tell you Aaron had a very light touch. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

Negative experience: I stopped by this business about 30 minutes prior to closing to see if they had an opening for a quick tattoo. They did not which was totally fine, but when my husband stopped by looking for me the staff was rude to him, pushing him out the door, and mocking him as they were leaving. Maybe they do good tattoo work, but I will never know since the staff was unable to show a basic level of respect or politeness.

They made the walk-in process seamless and had great inspiration photos that helped my friend narrow down what she wanted. Fantastic experience: Best tattoo shop in Galway Been going to Jeff for years!

Negative experience: I didn't feel particularly welcomed at this store. There was limited communication with the artist, he didn't inquire about my preferences or ideas for the design. Instead, he was only imitate the picture given. I found myself initiating most of the conversation, and when I requested to try different sizes, he seemed impatient and rude. Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience for me, and I don't plan on returning to this store.

Negative experience: Pre booked days in advance as I knew what I wanted and as a mammy time is everything when juggling life! my appointment with Lisa was at 12noon, arrived 10 mins early... Waited over an hour for her to arrive, no sign! I left at 1:03pm..got a text from Lisa at approx 1:15pm to say she was ready for me.. Omg a joke!! There is no absolutely excuse for tardiness within a professional capacity! Incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful!! Let it be a lesson: Do not book clients in if you have other things going on!!! Seem great for walk ins from what I observed while waiting... Though not sure I would be comfortable with my artist getting distracted every few mins to converse with potential walk in in middle of doing my tattoo! Definitely need a competent receptionist so artists can focus on their work!!!

Fantastic experience: My friends and I all decided last minute to get tattoos while we were in Galway, and we’re able to schedule pretty quick with Jeff who was amazing. For me personally, it was my first tattoo and I expected it to really hurt but honestly he was so gentle and calm that it was totally fine! My friends said that isn’t always normal, he’s just extra skilled and gentle. I love love my tattoo, especially the shading he did. He was so kind, easy to work with, and made the experience all the better! Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner went in to see if they were available for flash tattoos, they just so happened to have space later the same day to fit us it. The artists were very calm, personable and enthusiastic about their work. Aaron handled my tattoo and I couldn't recommend him enough, it was my first tattoo and he talked me through the care afterwards and made himself available if i had any questions in the aftermath. Brilliant experience, lovely staff and quality artists.

Negative experience: Worst tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Jeff was extremely impatient and rude. The communication beforehand was awful and they assumed I wanted three tattoos because I sent him pictures of examples. This tattoo shop does not provide recommendations or do their own unique work, expect to have exactly what you want chosen to the exact detail or he won’t do it. He won’t even provide recommendations or suggestions. I also asked him to touch up an existing tattoo I got previously and he said he didn’t feel comfortable doing it. Unreal… 50 dollar deposit gone.

Negative experience: Dreadful experience. Do not waste your time. Girl on the desk was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Absolutely stinking attitude. Thinks she is something she is not. Horrible place. Inexperienced tattoo artists. We ran out of the place. A hello or a smile on entry would have been nice. Rolling eyes and making faces behind our back. Absolutely shameful. Tattoo artists was extremely unhelpful and told us to go off and create our own font he can’t do it. Plenty of lovely tattoo artists around Galway. Do not waste your time with these people.

Negative experience: Terrible experience here. Greeted by an obnoxious dismissive woman at the desk. Very rude and unhelpful. One artist sketched up something he liked instead of what I asked for, absolutely pitiful sketch. When I asked if it could be changed he told me to go find the font I told him I wanted originally and write out what I wanted so he could print it out. What a lazy attitude. Didn’t know I was going to have to do his job for him. Ended up leaving and going to Victor Tattoo. Highly recommend them. Very pleasant and quick experience. Unlike here. Absolute waste of time.

She is extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of her profession, even down to explaining to me why the second piercing hurt more than the first. She walked me through the whole process step by step and I knew exactly what was happening and why at all times! If you want a piercing in Galway, Debbie is the gal to go to!!

Fantastic experience: i walked in with only a brief idea of what i wanted and within an hour, aaron had it drawn up and ready to tattoo on me! it was beyond perfect, its so clean and im absolutely chuffed. aaron was welcoming and a pleasure to be tattooed by. will 100% be back for future tattoos :)
