I was advised to have some laser done in a couple of areas. After a few laser sessions, the area had faded enough to cover. He takes your ideas from in your minds eye of what you would like, and turns those ideas into a piece of art. No small feat! Fantastic experience: Well where too start , I had one tattoo when I first met Colin in 2007 that I thought was amazing until I seen Colin’s work then I realised what a can real tattoo artist is !! I want to point out the word ARTIST as that is what he truly is , the only issue I have is I’m now running low on fresh skin for him to work on, Colin’s general tattoo work is on a level you don’t get to see every day , then you get to his Japanese work and he is one of the best in the country if not the world. He is a very patient and understanding and genuinely nice person , I would never go anywhere else.it’s a privilege that I get to showcase his work on me and it never gos short on attention where ever I go.

So professional, will tell you if an idea won't work (too small for the detail... placement wouldn't be right etc) and he always comes up with the best ideas (if like me you sometimes lack inspiration) I look at both Colin and his wife (who does great laser work!) as friends. I'm so happy with the work he has done so far and look forward to having more in the future ❤️ I've moved nearly 200 miles away and still would rather drive the distance to get the quality of work that Colin achieves.

My tattoos are all full colour and have lasted amazing well, they are all still bright and bold despite some being a decade old at this point, including cover ups. Fantastic experience: I have had a large piece done by Colin on my left arm, from the hand all the way to the top of my shoulders. I reached out to him via his social media platform and communicated an idea of what I liked but would like for him to have full control of the final outcome as I always believe if the artist enjoys what he’s tattooing the work will always be 100% in fact Colin’s has been above that. The work was done out of a clean and tidy studio at his home in a very friendly environment, Colin is easy to talk to which allows for the time under his needle to breeze by. During the end of our sessions I started to feel the pain a lot more than in the earlier sessions and he recommended using cream, something I’ve never used before but allowed for me to finish. If you are looking for large Japanese work done at an affordable rate but quality not diminished I cannot recommend Colin enough.

Studio is always immaculate and Colin is a very friendly easy going gezzer, my partner and our eldest daughter have also both been there and have nothing but great words about how Colin makes them feel comfortable,at ease and is easy going and listens to exactly what they want and guides you in the direction that you want your tattoo to go.. waffling a bit now but you get the picture, I can recommend Colin and stained glass 100%.

He won’t recall when I first approached him with a rather eccentric idea for a sleeve tattoo, and he tactfully turned it down, ensuring his work represents the best of both of us. Instead of just brushing me off, he engaged in a conversation, trying to truly understand my preferences. Before I knew it, he was free-handing a design on my arm, showcasing his impeccable talent and vision. The result was a traditional, yet original Koi Carp, made up of vivid colors that have drawn compliments from many over the years. My numerous visits have always been accompanied by a welcoming environment. The studio itself is a testament to cleanliness and professionalism, while the team adds a touch of fun with their banter and occasional life-saving snacks (especially for those of us recovering from a heavy previous night). In essence, if you're considering a tattoo, I wholeheartedly recommend Colin. He's not just an artist but a true professional who cares about his craft and clients.
