Fantastic experience: My partner and I got matching tattoos done by Juda. She worked with our inspiration pics and designed something we loved. Great fine line work! The shop itself is lovely and clean, nice atmosphere and very welcoming! Will add a pic once healed

Fantastic experience: It’s always lovely coming into the shop, it’s kept beautifully clean and the decor is lovely. My husband has been tattooed by Ben a couple times before in this shop and has nothing but positive words to say about Ben’s work and how nice of an experience it is to go into the shop. His tattoos still look brand new after a few years. I was tattooed by Autumn as a walk-in customer back in late 2024 and she was so lovely and my tattoo has also held up beautifully. I can be a little twitchy from anxiety and she was very accommodating and kind about it. She also fixed a dodgy line from an old tattoo in the same area, which I really appreciated! I’ve not been in since then but know other customers that have also had the same wonderful experience. I recommend to all my friends and family :)

Fantastic experience: First session with Juda a couple of weeks ago! Can’t wait to go back in and have it finished! This was my first tattoo so I was pretty apprehensive but I liked to vibe of Blackhart studio so called in one day and spoke to Ben, he’s a really nice bloke, happily chatted to me about what I wanted and recommended Juda! Juda is a real professional and she’s insanely good at what she does… I suspect this may now be the first of a few I ask her to do!!

Fantastic experience: Ben has done five tattoos for me so far, with more already booked — which says everything about how happy I am with his work! He’s an incredibly talented artist who always brings great ideas and thoughtful input to my designs, even when I turn up with random requests. I always feel a bit nervous before getting tattooed, but Ben and Bec instantly make me feel comfortable and relaxed, and the whole experience ends up being genuinely fun. Ben’s attention to detail and skill are second to none. I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Ben is my tattoo artist and wouldn't go anywhere else. His designs are fantastic and works with you to bring your ideas together. Nothing is ever too much trouble, the atmosphere is chilled which creates a mood for a great session of ink! If you're new to the tattoo scene I would highly recommend reaching out collab with this artist, or if you are adding to your work then you'll be sad to not have a masterpiece by Ben on youu! The whole team within the studio is amazing and Bex is Bens right hand woman.

Fantastic experience: This is such a great little studio, I went in for a cover up with a small idea of what I wanted and Ben totally seized the idea and helped me shape the final layout with some top drawer advice. Sat for 2 days to finish it all and I'm so happy with the tattoo, I've had many compliments and ppl asking where I got it done and nobody believes it's a cover up! I thoroughly recommend this place if you're looking to get a tattoo, great art work, great people. I'm heading back soon to get more of that there is no doubt

Fantastic experience: After feeling self-conscious about my tattoos for so many years I decided to to make enquiries with a lot of studios in Ipswich about getting my sleeves reworked and finished. I landed on. Black hart and spoke to Ben. From the start his enthusiasm and interest in working with me was great. I've had 5 sessions so far and have more booked in. Ben is very skilled and his work speaks for itself but he is also easy to get along with and enthusiastic about what he does which is often overlooked by others. I cannot recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Ben is the absolute best! I started going in April after a suggestion from my friend. I only intended to have just 1 tattoo after years of not having any. And here I am at the end of 2024 with nearly 2 full arm sleeves and 2 chest tattoos. Not only is his work amazing but he is in general just an all round great guy who has a heart of gold. He’s always cracking out some banging jokes and his cups of tea have come a long way! Everybody in the shop is lovely though and there is a real family dynamic which is amazing. I’ve been to other tattoo places before but it’s just feels like you are in and out like a factory, here it’s completely different. They want you to come back and make an effort to get to know you. Im always recommending this place to everybody and will continue to do so! Thanks for all the many great tattoos Ben!

Fantastic experience: Went to ben has I wanted someone who would give me the best memory of my fur baby who I sadly lost suddenly last year, as you can see from the pics he did an amazing tattoo and I will forever have my boy with me. Juda drew it and suggested sizes and line thickness. The result was better than I had expected with a perfect circle and image. Would highly recommend.

I wanted a cover up and Ben hart was recommended by friends as one of the few confident enough and capable of doing this in ipswich Ben is extremely talented, he is confident and did a fantastic cover up for me , taking the time to add in the detail.The old tattoo is now gone I am extremely happy with it Thank you Ben. Fantastic experience: I recently had a day sitting with Ben, I was slightly nervous as he was working around and fixing a piece from a different artist who didn’t really listen to me. However as soon as I walked in I couldn’t feel more comfortable. Ben was chatty and told me his process from the get go even though I had given him free range. We didn’t stop chatting throughout my sitting and time flew by. I felt very comfortable, the studio is fresh and very clean My tattoo is coming along better than I could ever imagined and I can’t wait for the end result (it’s a full leg sleeve) Although I haven’t met the other artists personally, their work looks just as incredible! I can’t recommend black hart tattoo studio enough, from the very thorough and easy booking enquiry system chatting with the lovely Bec, right through to leaving the studio, it’s a 10/10 service, even down to the free sweet treats on the counter if needed! lol I will never go else where!

Fantastic experience: The vibe of this studio is fantastic! Becky at the front desk and Ben the artist is certainly a great duo. Their attention to details can be seen throughout even down to the personal touches in the bathroom. Forgot your head phones, not up for small talk don't worry, Ben and Becky have that covered with a TV waiting with everyone's favourites. As for the artist himself, well Ben makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable wether it's your first or fiftieth. The detail that he achieves in all his work is truly amazing, and he is always willing to work with you to bring your ideas to life. Wouldn't choose anywhere else to go!

Fantastic experience: Reached out to Ben as I'd been thinking of a tattoo for a while and knew what I wanted. Ben took my design and enhanced it which I loved. It was my first tattoo and he made me feel very comfortable with the process and what to expect. His attention to detail is incredible. He wasn't happy with the alignment of the first stencil so aligned it again. Being my first tattoo this made me feel more confident with it all. Very happy with the end result and will be back for more in the future!
