Drawing Blood Tattoo Studio

Fantastic experience: My brother recommended Drawing Blood so I went and got my first tattoo and I am so happy with the result. It’s exactly what I wanted and was done really well. I was very anxious about getting the tattoo but Terry made me feel relaxed and made sure I was okay throughout the process. Would highly recommend and if I get any more tattoos I will definitely come back.

Fantastic experience: I had matching tattoo's with my son at drawing blood tattoo shop and wow the tattoo's came out so life like. I am over the moon with mine and also my son to. Fantastic experience: Don’t usually bother leaving reviews! But felt I had to as this is the best tattoo shop I have ever visited!!!! Terry was amazing and you can really tell how passionate he is and how serious he takes his work. I’ve had tattoos before at other tattoo shops but decided to give this place a try after a recommendation and can honestly say I will never be using another place again. Their work is incredible. Because they have morals and standards. Seriously clean and professional studio. Highly recommended. NB the only bad reviews are from people who didn't actual have a tattoo done!

Negative experience: I was truly shocked!!! I went in today wanting a tattoo of two small heart that my brother and sister had drew I went into the shop and was asked what I wanted I showed him the drawing and was told that he wouldn’t tattoo them on me I asked why and he says it makes his work look bad and he wouldn’t want anyone to see that and be told he tattooed it even tho it’s my younger siblings drawing so I ask well can you do them? And he goes I can but I won’t and at that point I left disappointed and disgusted that he said they would make his work look bad. At the end of the day like he said he is able to do it but won’t I am the customer it shouldn’t have been his opinion on what I put on my body not happy with the service at all

Fantastic experience: I have never been to a tattoo studio before, but now I can write about a very good experience for the first time. Everything from start to finish went perfectly. The studio is very clean and the armchairs are comfortable. Will is a true artist, he can be trusted completely. As it is a family business, the atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. Fantastic experience: Fantastic artists who take their work seriously. The studio is clean and organised, and the customer service is excellent. Polite, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the craft. Will did my tattoo, designing it from scratch working from concept to final artwork. It wasn't his usual style but he did such a fantastic job, advising me and explaining the process throughout and the final result is beautiful. My body heals slower than the average, and the design had some really fiddly fine lines and details but despite it being a month past when the original work was done, he was more than happy to carry out touch ups where necessary. My tattoo looks incredible, I absolutely love it and I receive so many compliments. I would 100% recommend Drawing Blood Tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Owners are great and helpful, they patched up my tattoo what I had done in a quick amount of time. It looks lovely and could ask for more, I am looking forward for my next tattoo with "Drawing Blood" what will be a realistic wolf. (Disclaimer) For those who saw my old review what was negative this has been resolved, we found out that my bad service for a patch up was by a former hired staff member who is no longer there. So please don't go off my old review as it was due to a old employee. Will update even more when I get my next one done.

Fantastic experience: Terry and Will are both incredible artists and very friendly, approachable and professional. They will take the time to properly discuss your tattoo with you, take your ideas on board and give you their professional advice. Their work is absolutely amazing and I was very impressed with my tattoo cover up. You can't even see where the old one used to be. The environment when you go in is very relaxed and the studio is kept impeccably clean. I've honestly never seen such incredibly detailed work from anyone else. I highly recommend looking at their Facebook page to see more of their work. There's a good reason so many people recommend them! I will definitely be coming back here for all future tattoos. I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I don’t really know where to begin, the studio itself is so clean and welcoming, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and explain everything in great detail. The tattoo I chose was a portrait of my Pygmy hedgehog who I absolutely adore so getting it right was always going to be a worry for me. Fantastic experience: About 3 years ago I felt like it was time to get my 1st tattoo. After exploring the options in and around Ipswich, I ended up going to Drawing Blood. A friend of mine had just got one, and then I looked through their previous work. And knew instantly that this is the studio I needed to go to. Their work is top class! Some of the tattoos you see are just unbelievable. All the staff are brilliant, and it's such a relaxing place to get a tattoo done. Have had absolutely no worries or issues about getting any of mine done with them. And as long as they are still around, it's the only studio I'm going to do to. Cheers guys and will see you all again throughout the year to get my sleeve finished.

Fantastic experience: This tattoo studio is the best in Ipswich, I came here for my first big tattoo, as I heard around ipswich that Will was the best for realism tattoos and I thought it would be good to go here to start my sleeve off, the front staff are very helpful as well, they don’t just ask what tattoo you want then send you through, the guy at the front was helpful in telling me what would be best to have and where to have the tattoo to help placement for future tattoos. Really good vibe in the studio too they make you feel really welcome. I got half of my forearm done with a close up image of tiger eyes, and I constantly get people asking me where I got it done and how real it looks etc. I advise anyone to go here and even if you are struggling with what you want go there and have a chat with them as they are always willing to help My second experience here was the same, I had some script done on my right forearm Done by terry, at first I was suppose to be getting it done on my upper arm but terry explained and showed me why it was maybe a better idea to go for the forearm as there wasn’t enough space on the upper arm and the words would blur together over time because it would be too small And I went with what terry was saying and now I’m glad I got it on my forearm as I’m really happy with it. Both tattooist I had where really professional and friendly

Will made my design so different and like no other, I fell in love with my tattoo when complete. Will's work, especially life-like black & grey and portraits, is incredible and he puts a high level of attention to detail into every design.

The time, detail and passion that goes into every tattoo leaves you with an incredible piece of art. Will has done some of the most amazing realism animal artwork on me and one in particular really makes people look repeatedly at me. My dad and my brother also will only come to drawing blood for any tattoos we want done. Will is so incredibly talented and his work genuinely amazes me! He did a tattoo for me to represent where me and my fiancé got engaged in New York and it's my most favourite tattoo, I still love it so much. He really put together the most perfect design and it's everything I wanted. I also have a Disney mandala on my back done by Will which is also amazing. Wouldn't go anywhere else for a tattoo. I was very nervous as I had a very bad experience with a heavy handed tattooist many years ago but I needn't have worried as Terry was so gentle. Fantastic experience: Every time we go on holiday to the Suffolk region I go to the Drawing Blood Tattoo Studio. I find the guys here are very understanding and informative with the way they treat all their customers, from the ones thinking of getting their first tattoo to the seasoned customer. These are now the only Tattooists that I will trust, they are friendly, professional, informative and have the talent of putting the most nervous of people at ease. The work they do is absolutely brilliant and every time I've had work done, when at home I get asked where I got my work done, so I tell people about this fantastic place.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could leave more than a 5 star rating, my husband and I visit this tattoo studio every time we come on holiday to Suffolk if we can, in fact we now wouldn't have a tattoo done anywhere else if possible. Everyone is so friendly and helpful they always listen to what you'd like and try to accommodate everything you ask for. They give you advice and help, are always professional, every tattoo we've had done has been perfect and following the care instructions as you should we've never had any trouble. You are always put at ease and feel you're in safe hands. This is 1 of the best places to go, we cant recommend this studio highly enough. We have a laugh too as we're always classed as the "foreigners" me being from Somerset and my other half from Newcastle. Oh and they make a mean cup of tea too!

Fantastic experience: My sisters and I came in yesterday to have a tattoo done at short notice, we had decided on a design which we all liked. They went out of their way to pick a couple of designs out that looked better than ours. We had matching infinity signs with sister in it. We were made to feel very welcome with lots of banter and laughs, a very comfortable place to go and amazing tattoos. Very pleased with the results, will definitely be going back :-)

Fantastic experience: Myself and my 4 sisters came in for matching tattoos our ideas were carefully listened to and in turn we received good advice.. The tattooist was able to fit us all in there and then.. We all had matching sister infinity design and even though we went in with the design we wanted they came up with an even better one and they even chose the right place to have it. we love them they are perfect and exactly what we wanted.. We all felt comfortable and relaxed in the studio because there is a great atmosphere and lots of banter.. Definitely will be getting more ink here in the future..
