Negative experience: I went to get a walk in tattoo expecting there to be a wait, and was told it’d be an hour, no problem. I show up an hour later to other people being tattooed, and was told they “forgot about me”. They told me it’d be another hour which was fine, so I left my number, but decided to show up a bit earlier to make sure no one grabbed my spot again. I was then told that they were still tattooing people who came in AFTER me, and I’d have to wait another hour because they forgot to fill my spot. Being told to wait three hours after being told they have availability is unbelievable, and the fact they were unable to understand my frustration is unprofessional; especially as they blamed it on a lack of management, and lacked any accountability for the situation. They never told me how many people where ahead of me, and even told me I could’ve gone to another tattoo shop AFTER waiting 2 hours, so beware of false promises and a lack of commitment here.

Negative experience: Uneven mess that I now have to go and get fixed. Artists shouldn’t say they can do fine line when they very clearly can’t, you know I have to look at your mistakes forever now, right?

Negative experience: He didn’t even have my tattoo ready after weeks of asking for my design. When I got to my tattoo appointment he said he didn’t have my design. I thought,.. msg me In weeks when you have something decent….but he said he found it. The tattoo wasn’t done and when I asked him when we could finish it he never msg me…,emailed or phone called me… your trash for starting a tattoo and not even finishing it .. ️️️️

Positive experience: Walked in and asked for a small simple tree on the side of my wrist. The artist said he didn't recommend the size for as detailed as the tattoo was. I agreed to the bigger size but I wish we would have talked about a different placement since it was so much bigger than I originally wanted. It's still a cute tattoo but I learned my lesson.

Negative experience: Went to get a quote on a simple 2x3 tattoo and Max tried to overcharge like crazy. Terrible customer service, he was rude and wouldnt budge off an outrageous quote of 600, didn't seem like he wanted my business. Won't be returning.

Positive experience: Came in as a walk in was quoted $180.00 for flash got started around quarter to 7 finished around 8 30 and was charged $735.00 he even stopped for his dinner part way through. Tried emailing them direct for explanation on price but just keep ignoring me. My advice is get your quote in writing. In the end there loss as the peice they did was the start of a sleeve and yes they were aware of that.

Negative experience: I got a tattooed, I am not satisfied because of a lot of mistake of artist max, i will never come back again.

Negative experience: Disappointed. Kevin did mine and my friends matching tattoos. He was heavy handed which resulted in scarring and the lines to blow out. It's a small and simple tattoo but as time goes on, out of all my tattoos, it is my only tattoo that is blown out and had shaky lines from the start. Disappointed to say the least.

Negative experience: I got a very basic flash (1"×3"). The artist rushed it and it's embarrassing to look at. Uneven, crooked, blowouts. He charged me $200 and I just felt taken advantage of. I must've hurt him in a previous life. I won't go back there ever

Negative experience: Got my very first tattoo done by Bob a year ago, after a year of having said tattoo I noticed from time to time it's raised, bumby underneath and itchy as all hell, but the line work and detail is beautiful

Negative experience: Walked in for a small cursive tattoo..the stencil didn’t look too bad..but the lines are so shaky you can barely read what it says.. don’t recommend Max for smooth lines. It’s supposed to read “SweetPea” and my reference was a MUCH smoother writing style. Not to mention he missed an “e” while drawing up the tattoo

Fantastic experience: My partner and a friend did a walk in but it was too close to close. So they made it for the next day. She was occupied so we decided to go since I have been bugging him for one. Kevin was awesome! The tattoo we wanted was a bit big and he was trying to figure out how to redo it to fit on my arm. We decided it would be best for my leg. The work he does is out of this world! Such an eye for detail. It was an all day tattoo for my partner and I. The whole staff was great company! I think I found my new tattoo shop.

Negative experience: "Guess you can't please everyone" no. Not when you go in for a "simple" tattoo and the artist/owner doesn't get the alignment right.

Negative experience: My sister's tattoo(on her arm) got infected and mine is so blown out and the artist pushed my arm in a weird spot so my tattoo(on my ribs) is crooked when my arm is down.

Fantastic experience: KEVIN IS AMAZING! Did an awesome cover up on my hand / arm, payed super close attention to detail, very friendly and picked the perfect design to cover up the ugly little ghost I wanted gone. Come here if your in the area looking for a tattoo!

Fantastic experience: Had a walk-in session with Bob last week. I only used the second skin for 3 days as I had to remove it after the gym. Healed very nicely, minimal scabbing. The whole shop was very clean and all the staff were friendly. I will definitely be going back.

Dennis is extremely professional, courteous, and very calm, and he made me feel completely at ease. I read my book while he worked on my gorgeous tattoo. As this is a memorial piece, it really means so very much to me. This facility is extremely dilligent with their cleaning and the staff are super friendly and respectful. Negative experience: Would not recommend this place for small tattoos. Came in and requested a small, thin line star tattoo and received something with much thicker lines than anticipated. I have several other tattoos with much thinner lines so I know my request was not unreasonable. I even showed the artist a reference picture and if he was not able to replicate it, I wish I had been informed. Felt as if they wanted to get us in and out as soon as possible and it really sucks having to look for a coverup so soon after getting a new tattoo I was very excited for.

Positive experience: I walked into universal on my birthday unsure what to expect after checking out a few other places. I found the guys extremely friendly and professional. I discussed a tattoo with Shawn. It was a quick and painless process. 4 days later I was in the chair. We had a quick talk about how I wanted it to look. Shawn was able to capture exactly what I was looking for. He's professional, easy to talk to. Overall really happy and amazed by the work. I'll be booking in the future for my sleeve. Also taking my daughter in for her 1st tattoo. GREAT WORK SHAWN! Thankyou.. ;)
