They worked with me to come up with a design that was exactly what I envisioned in my mind. Aiden was super light handed, thorough, and his work is impeccable. Beautiful fine lines! I’m from Ottawa in Montreal semi regularly and found OA through a google search and stopped in to check them out. My experience was amazing from that first moment. James did my tattoo and it was easy working with him during the design process and what a fantastic job he did. Everyone(including me) LOVES my tattoo. I’ve had 4 other tattoos at other places but this experience tops them all!!!!

Fantastic experience: Hello, I would like to do a touch-up on my tattoo. I don’t want pure white areas; instead, I prefer the white shapes to be made into negative space or a light grey wash. I also want a black or dark grey outline around them for contrast. Additionally, I would like a slight cleaning and slight enlargement of the circle lines and the text, especially "FC BAYERN MÜNCHEN" and "MIA SAN MIA". No new details, just better clarity and long-term durability. Could you please let me know the estimated cost for this work? Thank you!

(I didn’t get his name) but the gentlemen that was at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful and got me and my boyfriend set for our appointments. They have a very clean and cool spot for tattoos in Old Port. 3rd visit to Oly Anger - This time I came in with some friends for a walk-in, another great experience! Sebastian was my tattoo artist and he was fantastic! He took the time to make sure I was happy with the tattoo size and placement and appreciate the overall customer experience. Always my go-to tattoo shop when I’m in Montreal, 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: Karl was fantastic to work with! I originally schedueld a tattoo months ago but had to cancel due to health reasons, and when I reached out to reschedule for this summer I had zero problems rescheduling and applying the original deposit. The art itself was exactly what I had in mind, he redid the placement multiple times to make sure it would look good and really actually cares about what he does. We also had a good chat about hobbies etc. and he's such a cool guy and a fantastic artist! Highly reccomended :)

Negative experience: Put the phone call on hold when someone walks in. Went somewhere else solely based on the fact we sat there waiting for 20mins while reception was on phone for a future booking and we were hoping for on the spot. All you need to do is put the call on hold for 10 seconds and say "I'll be right with you". Customer service basics.

Fantastic experience: Isabel rose was my tattoo artist, and I got to say that she was completely professional, she knows a lot, her talent is insane, and she’s very kind and gentile, I had a great experience! Beside she’s also very reasonable and empathetic.

Fantastic experience: The whole experience was amazing!!! My boyfriend and I came in for walk ins on our trip to MTL, Karl did my American traditional the first day and Israel did my boyfriends first tattoo and it was a 7 hour piece and he stayed until after close to help finish it and the front desk ladies were amazing, they made us feel so comfortable and brought us waters and had conversations while we were waiting. Coming back to MTL specifically to come back here and get more ink done!!! Love yall!!

My tattoo artist, Alin, is not only super friendly but also extremely talented, especially when it comes to fine line work and microrealism. Fantastic experience: So, I've been getting tattooed for 22 years and I have a full sleeve starting from my shoulder blades down to my fingertips. I have been tattooed at multiple places including the united states. I've been tattooed at Oly Anger 4 times and everytime the experience is absolutely without a doubt top notch! And worth every $ I want to give a shout out to my latest artist **Isreal*** I walked in off the street and he took his time to go through all of my options. I got my fingers tattooed. (This picture does not do it justice because of the angles) NOT ONLY was he extremely knowledgeable but he really took his time to explain the options, as well managed to create the perfect writting of the style I wanted and his own version of cursive writting. He took 2 hours just going back and forth Designing and (he drew FREE HAND!!!) on my fingers. Also a big shout out because some tatoo artist have the tendency to be really pushy with their ideas. NOT the case he was super patient and informative. Absolutely my new favorite tatoo!!. As well he used a certain type of black ink I've only seen two other times that really sticks in my skin. NOT only will I be going back to***OLY ANGER*** I want another tattoo from ISRAEL from Mexico and I want another neck tattoo at OLY ANGER. ***TO the tattoo arist behind the front desk And ISRAEL AND THE OLY ANGER TEAM! Fantastic experience: Stopped in to see if they could do a walk-in for a small tattoo for both myself and my sister-in-law and they took us right away! Great experience. Had Karl as our artist and he did a fantastic job.

Fantastic experience: The shop is conveniently located in downtown Montreal near the waterfront. It’s clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out; you never feel crowded or on top of other clients, which really adds to the experience. I’ve been seeing Taria for a few years now, and she’s the real deal. Her artistry is top-notch, and she brings a rare combination of professionalism, high-end skill, and a calm, confident presence to every session.

Negative experience: Assigned to an artist, got an appointment, showed up and our artist was at home chilling more than an hour away. Wow. Very disorganized, not respectful to the customers and no purpose of planning ahead.

Fantastic experience: I visited Montreal for the day, from NY, and saw the sign outside for walk-in tattoos. The receptionist was great to talk with and with helping set up the appointment. Karl drew up a monstera deliciosa leaf based on a picture of an actual leaf of mine. He was fun to talk with and I enjoyed my session with him. He did a great job! The atmosphere was great, and I will definitely be back for more tattoos!

Fantastic experience: Went for a walk in for matching tattoos with my bff and got exactly what we wanted. Woman working the front desk offered us water/drinks while we waited and was super helpful and made sure all of our requests for our tats were clear. They came out CLEAN. Found out afterwards that my artist Sebastian does fine line and you can tell. Asked for a gothic old English font, and couldn’t be more pleased. He was super friendly and gave me all the advice I asked for. Good clean shop. Next time I’m in MTL I’ll definitely be back. Thanks guys!!

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with this studio. I paid a deposit of $X, assuming it represented a standard hourly rate based on my previous experiences with this studio, with other studios and based on conventional pricing in the tattoo market. The session lasted four hours, and the final rate charged was significantly higher than expected. I was asked to pay in cash, and despite requesting a receipt, none was provided. When I reached out via Instagram to clarify the charges, I did not receive a response and was later blocked. After posting my concerns in a Google review, I received a message from the owner that I found inappropriate and concerning. My original concerns about pricing transparency and communication remain unresolved. I would recommend ensuring full pricing details are clarified in writing beforehand.

Fantastic experience: I visited this place on a whim for a walk in tattoo and could not have asked for a better experience. I had my tattoo done with Sebastian and it was truly phenomenal.. His work is top notch. The attention to detail and making sure it was what I wanted/ repositioning it until I loved it was truly the best experience. He was so kind, funny and very knowledgeable. I joked I don’t normally go back to a place when I do walk in’s but I would make the 4hour drive back any day to get another tattoo done by him. He told me back home he had a saying in his shop along the lines of “Come in for a walk in and leave as a friend” and that’s exactly how I felt leaving. I can not say one bad thing about this artist. The shop was clean, the music was amazing and the two girls working the front (the real bosses haha) were literal earth angels!! Overall it was a 10/10 experience and I will highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more welcoming tattoo environment!!!

Fantastic experience: Taria from Oly Anger is my favorite tattoo artist. She designs beautiful artwork from my scattered and vague notions and I definitely trust that they will look great on my skin afterwards. She is very forward and honest about pain levels, how the tattoo will look as it moves with your body and which parts are more likely to fade, letting you make the best informed decision about your body.

They put me into contact with the artist of my choice (Wilson) who went above and beyond helping me bring my project to life. They have a great variety of flash and super friendly staff. Sebastian was very kind and he did an amazing job on both our tattoos, one being designed day of! Fantastic experience: Me and my husband went to get tattoos on our last day visiting Montreal. We were greeted with warmth. My artist was very nice and accommodating to my wants. I always like it when the artist can take my inspiration add something to it and that's exactly what I got. I would absolutely recommend Oly Anger.

Fantastic experience: Went here to get a coverup of an old tattoo I absolutely HAD to remove. Saw Taria (incredible artist), who had one amazing hoodie that I loved and wanted for my own. I told her that she was free to do what she wanted to cover it up. even with this information, she still brought out 4 different options for me to look over and choose from. Took roughly 4 hours to do the work with little pain throughout the process. She was a champion. I absolutely love the work she did. I couldn't be more happy. Any regrets? Yes. I regret asking her to make it smaller and remove some of the bottom of the tattoo. it was her inspiration and design and I shouldn't have asked to change her work. Also, I should have continued it onto my back and covered another tattoo I had back there. Maybe a job for another time. If I had more time and money, I'd go back for sure and continue. Negative experience: Tattoo artist did a good job on the design but it was crazy expensive, she took a really long time for such a small tattoo and took a lot of breaks. She was also silent the entire 3 and a half hours which was super awkward. They didn't warn me ahead of time that its cash only or interac transfer if you can and they have an ATM but clearly get a cut from that too. The place was clean but I have had better tattoos done for a much more reasonable price. Feels like a scam.

Fantastic experience: I was walking around doing some sight-seeing when I came across a sign for walk-ins. Karl had some time available and designed this gorgeous floral piece. He was professional and detail oriented. The appointment flew by and I left with this amazing tattoo. I had some questions about aftercare and he was so quick to respond and very helpful. If I could rate this shop higher than five stars I would. I'll have to come back the next time I'm in Montreal

Fantastic experience: I found that Sebastian was overall such an amazing tattoo tech to work with. He listened to what I had to say and was a perfectionist, which for me was a big deal. He gave me his opinion on it and listened to my thoughts as well! Overall I was very pleased with the outcome and the service provided!

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner went in for a flash tattoo each we had reserved a while ago with @eldritchtattoo on Insta. When we arrived, we were greeted and setup real quick with the receptionist. Then James greeted us, re-checked with us and planned our tattoos. We waited a bit for him to finish setting up and then it was off to the table! It went flawlessly and honestly less painfull than your average tattoo imo, James does great work. He ended up charging me less then planned since my tattoo took the less time then planned. All and all, the prices were fair (especially considering it was blackwork tattoos) and the shop was really clean! Would go to again if I wasnt broke!

Positive experience: Really enjoyed the experience. It was for walk-in tattoos. The tattoo artist was nice, took the time to personalize the tattoos. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 it's the paying method, it's only cash and they have an ATM inside but when I went to use it, there was no more money in it so we had to run outside to find another and everything was closed, the paying was complicated. Other than that, very friendly service !

Fantastic experience: I came into O. A. T. as a walk-in....they were very busy, but were able to hook me up with Darren right away! I wanted a couple maple leaves to represent my 15th anniversary with my hubby in Quebec this fall. While in Montreal and Mont Tremblant, the maples leaves were falling everywhere! And Darren captured them perfectly!! It was a small piece, but very sentimental ❤️. Thank you all so much for being so awesome!

Fantastic experience: First time getting a tattoo, was able to walk-in on a Sunday and walk out a few hours later with an extremely well done tattoo and lots of advice on maintenance and protection. Plan on returning and would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My friend and i did a walk in tattoo and had a great experience! The space is clean and the staff are really friendly. They are cash only but have an ATM on site. The rooms are private feeling and the artists delivered exactly what we wanted. We just wanted something small and simple to commemorate our trip and were turned away at other shops because the design was too small and simple for them. We were so happy to have found this shop. Judgement free, easy and clean!

Fantastic experience: I walked in while visiting Montreal last week. The place attracted me bc of the style and clean feel. Wilson was friendly, clear in communication, very professional and careful in helping me figure out design and placement. Very well done, healing nicely. I recommend these folks!

Fantastic experience: Loved having the shop be part of our 40th birthday wknd in Montreal! We walked in Sunday after 3pm and the 3 of us were accommodated and all got done at the same time. Israel was my artist and his work os amazing!!!! If I get back to Montreal for another trip, I'd definitely go back to them!!
