2 months ago Fantastic experience: Went there for a walk in while on a weekend getaway. Had the pleasure of meeting and being tattooed by Kris. Great communication, friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Really makes you feel comfortable and involved with the tattoo. A true artist. Rest assured whatever you walk out with, it’ll be amazing. The shop is clean and neat and has a great layout. Since my first appointment, I just recently returned to get another piece from Kris. 2 months ago Fantastic experience: Booked an appointment with Camilo_flames and he was fantastic, he was open to new ideas and the outcome was amazing. This was by far my best experience as Camilo was very patient, kind, respectful and took the time to answer all my questions. He was also paying extar attention to every single detail for the tattoo to be perfect. You can tell that he loves what he does! Will come back for future tattoos.

From the moment we sat down, he was kind, personable, and genuinely fun to be around, he made us laugh, shared stories, and by the end it truly felt like we’d made a friend, not just worked with an artist. His work speaks for itself, but what really stood out was the care and thought he put into placement. He suggested my right arm and Zach’s left, which we later realized are our dominant hands, and when we hold hands or lock arms, our tattoos sit right next to each other. 3 months ago Negative experience: When you overcharge and do a horrible job, don't expect a client to be happy. Like I literally took 2000$ and threw it in the trash, that's how it felt. There was no effort done on the tattoo. It's like he did it just to get rid of it as fast as possible. You guys are vaping in the shop? How is thar even legal??? The artist insisted I pay cash, so I did, get charged the taxes and I don't even get a receipt. Which by law you must give a receipt. I felt like I got took advantage of and on top of that artist didn't even let me do a touch up. They told me you have 3 months after your tattoo to do it but the artist said you'll have to pay. So even tho I got it done a month and a half ago, I'm not eligible, is that correct? The other staffs are nice but it was a very bad experience.

4 months ago Positive experience: I got a tattoo at this studio with a friend a couple of days ago. I didn't know what I wanted, but I wanted some flash. Tattoo artists are a bit pushy about what they want to do. Whatever. I finally pick a tattoo, and we get started. My artist was very kind, but was vaping the entire time. The second I left, the second skin he put on fell off. Overcharged us as well after they told us 180 an hour, but then we got charged 230 without the tip. If you are uncomfortable about being around vaping, you will be very uncomfortable in that studio. My tattoo looks great, but the hygiene is not up to my standard.

Not only is he very professional and personable, he's a genuinely nice person to chat with (we had good conversations about video games and Pokémon). I got a small black outline piece done on my ankle, and I absolutely love it; I know I'll be back again for one of his detailed designs. Angerink is a clean and professional place, with just a generally chill vibe. Nothing but praises here, I can't wait to go back! 6 months ago Negative experience: Was visiting Montreal for work. Came across Angerink and took a look inside. After speaking to front desk, I thought why not get a tattoo in Montreal as I was in town for work for the week.. Place has a good rating on line and wanted something to represent my mother that passed last Sept 2024. I showed the rosary I wanted and put a deposit for next day. It felt like an amateur tattoo from the beginning. Pics show what I wanted and then what I got. Very disappointed and the “artist” hasn’t responded after I told him I was disappointed and why I was. I even tipped him 20% but wish I hadn’t (that’s on me, I believe I’m tipping). 6 beads were supposed to be completely red and he screwed up he knew he had and compensated as you can see. The rosary was attached to head and wing making it look uncentered and amateur and a big gap between the one side attached to head. The colour is very dull, one pic shows a bead twice the size of the others, the writing in the cross is “mom” hand written poorly and “love” printed. Amateur again. I know this is one “artist” and I’m sure most are incredible but I suggest you look at their work closely and I know they accept walk-ins but make sure the artist is well know and on the website because mine was not. Very disappointed with my experience.

Usually big stores do not have a warm welcoming vibe to them but for the size of this place, you feel welcomed and warm. Getting an appointment was easy through social media, I had an idea for a tattoo and was immediately referred to a great artist by the name of ‘Gucci’. Very kind young man with a lot of passion for what he does. Works well, quick and professionally. I recommend Angerink for anyone that would like a life long print on their body to be proud of! 7 months ago Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this tattoo shop. Every time i want to get tatted, i always come to Anger Ink. The last 2 times i came and i had Camilo as my artist. I had 2 anime tattoos done and both of them turned out absolutely amazing. My fiancé even said he wants to have Camilo do his anime tattoos also. Highly recommend. Camilo is the guy. If i can give the shop more than 5 stars, i absolutely would.

8 months ago Positive experience: First I want to Say that I've had a really positive experience for everything that is tattoo related. Only thing is , most of the time they put loud "club" music wich after 5-6 hours of tattoo session can be pretty annoying and get you tired faster. Anything except the music was great

As an adult with Autism disorder it's difficult to feel comfortable in situations that are different from my norm. I appreciated the time she took to allow me to feel comfortable without the knowledge of my disorder. Her line work is amazing and I would definitely recommend her to anyone with anxiety or autism who are looking to get some ink done when in or around the Montreal area.

8 months ago Fantastic experience: Super tattoo place!!! Super clean, good service , super smooth experience. I came in last minute and got a tattoo with a friend. I had Vladimir, super professional and very good communication. He executed the tattoo the way I wanted it . I am super satisfied:) probably more pricy than other places but totally worth it. My friend got exactly what she wanted as well. Both Domenico and Vladimir listened to what we wanted and this is priceless especially in Montreal! First time in my life I did not feel like a piece of wood satisfying the needs of a pretentious artist who make me pay too much money for a tattoo I did not agreed on and does not meet at all my expectations. I recommend for sure ! Vladimir is into realism if you are interested plus you get interesting conversations to pass the time. Thank you so much!!! I ll come back for the next one ;)

8 months ago Negative experience: Good tattoo artists, got three tattoos done. However on my last visit one of the owner's kid touched my ass under my skirt while I was laying down mid tattoo session, I was unable to move or react. My tattoo artist apologized (despite not being his fault), but nothing was addressed after that and I felt extremely unsafe.

We acknowledge that the children, who are 3 and 5 years old, should not have been running around the studio unsupervised, even for a brief moment. We sincerely apologize for that and understand how it contributed to your discomfort.
We would have welcomed you to mention the incident to someone at management at the time, as we could have addressed it immediately. This would have allowed us to take appropriate action during your session and ensure the tattoo artist was not affected by the situation.
We’re reviewing our procedures to ensure this doesn’t happen again and to create a safer, more controlled environment for everyone, as a lot of the staff are parents to younger children who sometimes happen to come visit them at work. If you’d like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out directly.

The atmosphere was incredible. The owner Ness has such cool energy and my artist James knocked it out of the park with this piece. Clean and cool upstairs place and all the artist were very nice. Would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the obnoxious music that played for more than 6 hours. Very grating high intensity beats that took away from the whole experience.

It was hygienic and quick. I got a medium sized tattoo for about $280-ish. There is also a cafe inside is you need a snack ☕️

10 months ago Fantastic experience: Only had two days in Montreal. Met with Camilo as a walk in with a piece of art that would not work as a tattoo shortly before close on the first night. We booked a time for the following day and that night he drew two terrific compositions of the art I brought in. With only one day left in town Camilo worked for nearly 10 hours straight with care and great attention to detail. His work is exceptional. 10 months ago Negative experience: My girlfriend went here twice: to get a lip piercing and later get it removed due to extreme swelling and discomfort. On both accounts she was queried about having lip filler despite explaining that she doesn’t. She’s black and has naturally full lips (like most black people) and when she went to get the piercing removed she was basically told it could have swelled up that way because she was lying about not having lip filler. Her exact words were “when people lie about lip filler it tends to swell up like this” and kept going on and on about it even after my girlfriend had made it clear that her lips were real. She said “Even if you got filler months ago you still can’t get a lip piercing” trying to get her to admit to something she didn’t do. It’s completely ignorant and unprofessional to insist a black woman’s lips must be fake because they are full. Have you guys never seen a black person before? I’m white and even I know that this is a micro-aggression. This experience has made my girlfriend feel self-conscious of her appearance because she’s worried her lips must look abnormally fake for her to be persistently accused of that by your workers. Regardless of what you assume, you should never imply a client is lying about her looks. Do better AngerInk.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your girlfriend left feeling judged or self-conscious after her visits — that is the opposite of the experience we want anyone to have at AngerInk. We want to be very clear: we never question clients’ appearances based on race or assume cosmetic procedures based on natural features. Asking about filler is a standard part of our safety protocol for all lip piercings — regardless of lip size, background, or ethnicity — because recent or past filler can significantly affect how the area reacts to piercing, including unusual swelling or bleeding.
In this particular case, the follow-up question was asked not because of your girlfriend’s naturally full lips, but because the specific pattern and behaviour of the swelling resembled reactions we've seen in clients who had dermal filler in the past, like we tried explaining. Our goal was solely to understand the full context in order to give accurate and safe aftercare guidance — never to imply dishonesty or make her feel uncomfortable. That said, we understand that how things are said matters. While the piercer’s intent was never to question your girlfriend’s honesty, simply to explain why we were asking and what had happened with past clients, we recognize that the way it came across caused harm. During the visit, we did try to explain that the questions were medically motivated and not meant to scrutinize her appearance — and at the time, we believed this was understood. But it’s clear in hindsight that the impact was different, and for that, we’re truly sorry.

10 months ago Fantastic experience: Me and my friends went to get a tooth gem with Adriana and we had such a LOVELY experience! She was so sweet, welcoming and funny we laughed the whole time we were there. She was a GEM!! I told her I had sensitive teeth and she checked in with me throughout the whole process to make sure I was comfortable (it wasn't painful at all btw!). She explained the aftercare in details and encouraged us to reach out to her if we had any questions in the future. The shop was also super clean and they had great music playing. 10/10 experience honestly!!

10 months ago Fantastic experience: I came to Kris wanting a retouch on an old tattoo while keeping the original concept intact. Within just five minutes of our consultation, he had already sketched over my tattoo and captured exactly what I was looking for. I instantly felt like he understood my vision—he really listened and delivered beyond expectations. Because of how seamless and positive that experience was, I decided to share the concept for my second tattoo with him. Right on the spot, he sketched something amazing that totally blew me away. I booked him immediately. The final result was even better than I imagined. He stayed true to my original idea but added thoughtful touches that made the tattoo really pop. 11 months ago Fantastic experience: My friend and I were walking by and got our rook’s pierced on the spot. We’re not from the area and from Ottawa for the day, we just wanted to do something fun while in town. The service was insanely great. Eric was my piercer, he was so very communicative and thorough about everything he did. It was a service that I have never experienced before considering I have many tattoos and piercings already. Will be coming back 100%. Thanks to the other staff that also welcomed us for our short time in their shop!

Kris was our artist and absolutely killed it — super clean lines, beautiful work, and such chill, fun vibes the entire time. My experience at Angerink was truly amazing from the moment I arrived I was very well greeted and treated like a celebrity!
