Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience so very happy with the finished tattoo. Kanishq did such a great job. The tattoo came out even better than the picture I provided.

Negative experience: I gave a simple image of what I wanted with three simple words. Once stencilled on I check size and placement the best I could with where the tattoo was on my body. I didn’t think to check the spelling as I had already given the three words I wanted which were sisters always together. When I got home I took a picture to show my sisters and realised together was spelt incorrectly. So I called the studio and the manger two weeks later finally made contact. She said she would help with laser. Since they took responsibility they have since ignored my emails and still months later no email.

Negative experience: Look normally i dont have any issues with celebrity ink but this time i booked in an appointment on saturday the 15th of november for the 29th of november i came in a day later looking to cancel my appointment and get my deposit back as i found an artist who can do my tattoo for a fraction of the price, thats not the issue. Not only did i have to come back on 3 seperate occasions to try and get my deposit back as im sure no sketches were done and i was not booked in with a certain artist to my knowledge it took 3 days to hear back from them after calling and going into the store multiple times to work something out this is extremely unprofessional just to be told it was non refundable unless i had medical reasoning which is ridiculous now i know that they are non refundable, the money isnt an issue its the fact that i had to wait 3 days to hear from some “manager” who was never in shop and apparently cant calk people back when they say they will

Fantastic experience: The tattoo artists I see are excellent very professional, need better professional staff on the front desk, they don’t ask if you would like a drink nothing anymore, atmosphere very low, not very busy anymore

Negative experience: Insanely overpriced - staff are lovely though!

Negative experience: Haven’t gotten a tattoo here but I went here briefly to get an idea on how much a tattoo would cost from them, I was consulted by Sarah (a lady with short pink/purple hair) who was rude and seemed like she would’ve rather been anywhere else, she seemed like me being there was a hassle and she was annoyed she had to talk to me and actively rolled her eyes when she was asked to give me a consult. If you don’t like customers then don’t work in a job where all u do is talk to customers. The tattoo I was looking at getting to was grossly overpriced, take your business elsewhere this place is not good.

Positive experience: Edit after business reply: Actually I was told by the female staff member, that the artist had left HOURS before my appointmen, that she'd been there since 3pm and hadnt seen my artist the whole afternoon (my appointment was at 6pm & apparently you have CCTV which can hear what we say, have a listen). Firstly the tattoo itself and the day of my tattoo were 5 stars however the lead up to the tattoo appointment was abysmal. My appointment to go through my design with the artist was oddly rebooked at 10:30pm the night before. I called them at 10am the morning of my appointment to see what was going on. I was advised that there were some personal issues with staff but they managed to get cover so opened, so I could keep my original appointment time, cool, no worries, life happens. I go to my appointment that evening, that I had confirmed via text with a Y, twice now, only to be advised that my artist had left for the day, no call, nothing. I wasn't too happy as, I had confirmed the appointment twice, originally when sent the appointment reminder the 1st time then again once it was rebooked by them. Look I understand stuff happens but anyone could have called me, they all would have seen my appointment in the booking system. I re-booked again for a week later, but then when I got the text reminder for the appointment again, it had the wrong time, I know it was wrong because I would have been at work when they booked it at that time. I tried calling at 4:30pm but no answer as they had closed, even though Google says they close till 5pm. W I then went the next morning to speak to them about the time being wrong and was advised that they weren't even sure why I was booked with the artist that day as they weren't on the roster. Once again I was quite annoyed as it was getting close to the date of actually getting my tattoo done and I haven't even looked at the design yet. I was advised they'd let me know what they can do. I went away and was then called to say that the artist would in fact be there at the time it should have been re-booked for. I arrived for my "consultation" with my artist and I was shown the design standing at the front counter which took barely 5 minutes, thankfully I liked what I saw. As I said in the beginning the day of my tattoo and my tattoo itself were and are fantastic and I guess to some that's all that matters, however, the customer service prior to the tattoo day was awful and very unprofessional and for that reason I'm not sure I'd recommend them.

Fantastic experience: So pleased with my experience here today. I came in at 9.30 - no appointment, showed the two lovely/welcoming ladies at the desk what I wanted and they knew straight away who the perfect artist was to complete the job. Pricing seemed a little steep, $280 (12cm) but for a permanent tattoo it’s worth it, I suppose. The girl who did my spinal tattoo was a little too quiet to hear but was very nice. When I was finished there was a lady and man at the desk, both again were very friendly and helpful. They reassured me if I had any issues I could go back to them and could always contact them if I have any questions. Thank you

Negative experience: Terrible tattoo which hasn't healed much better. I got this tattoo over a year and a half ago now and was left thoroughly disappointed, even after having the touch up done on them the ink has gone too deep leaving a blow out and raised edges looking like a blurry mess. While getting my tattoo, another person came and conplained about their tattoo for the same sort of reason and was left with a "too late not my problem" kind of response. Do not go here!

Negative experience: NOT recommended. Overpriced and poor customer service. Worst experience at Celebrity ink Carindale. Quoted $350–$450 initially then increased to $550 on the day of the appointment for a small tattoo (7cm). Was happy to pay this, then got to know that they have changed the tattoo artist without even notifying me. I had requested the tattoo artist I wanted and paid $100 deposit to secure the artist at the time of booking. Front desk staff were not helpful and the guy was rude and unfriendly. Really disappointed, when turning up to get the tattoo done and getting told the price has increased and artist was changed. Ended up not getting the tattoo done, they also refused to refund $100 booking deposit.

Negative experience: Artist mon was lovely and her flash pieces looked amazing art wise. I asked for a stylised sun which i gave her a referance photo of. She put a stencil on my back for general markings and then proceeded to freehand it. It was completly off the original designs, lines fuzzy and mismatched, and went outside the stencil multiple times. She has lovely art but genuinly lacks the technical abilities. It wasnt a brag talking about how quickly she finished her apprenticeship....

Fantastic experience: Dia and the whole team were amazing and so super supportive, this was my first tattoo and it was a very impulsive decision, I felt very comfortable and made to feel very at ease, I will certainly be back in the future, Thank you again

Fantastic experience: I had such a fantastic experience at Celeb Ink Carindale! The entire team is incredibly professional, friendly, and welcoming. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease and well taken care of. I can’t recommend Sam highly enough, her attention to detail is absolutely second to none. She’s not only talented but also genuinely passionate about her work, which really shines through in the final result. The studio is super clean, the vibe is awesome, and everyone makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I’m beyond happy with my experience and the outcome of my tattoo. Negative experience: I've been a loyal client of Celebrity Ink Carindale and artist Dia since early 2023. I booked with them through instagram and sent three inspo pictures. I'd advised I wanted one the size of between a tennis ball and golf ball. The other two I wanted together on my wrist and very small. I paid a $100 deposit. Unfortunately, I missed my original appointment and had to reschedule. It was due to chronic illnesses I have which is Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (a rare form of Leukemia) and Endometriosis. I was rushed to hospital in July 2023, diagnosed with CML and did a short course of chemo. Now I am just on TKI medications. I didn't tell them about them as it is something I usually keep private. I rebooked for a Sunday. It was extremely busy in the car park and I had to keep driving around to get a car park. As Carindale is a massive Westfield and can get extremely busy. I was 10 minutes late. The manager/lady there, advised Dia could only do the small tattoo of the 'three tattoos I wanted' and she showed me a piece of paper with the bigger tattoo the size of a mango, not between a tennis ball and golf ball, and the two other inspiration pictures were separated and larger as well. I'd advised that wasn't what I'd wanted. She went back to speak to the artist and came back to me and advised they would have to redesign, so they would just have to completely cancel my appointment. I didn't understand why they said it'd have to be a redesign when it was three separate tattoos and sizes I'd never asked for, and originally told them in my messages what I had wanted. They said I couldn't rebook in store. As I'd missed and rescheduled my first appointment and then was 10 minutes late for this one.Even though they contacted me the day before and changed my appointment time from 1:30pm to 2:00pm. That regardless the deposit would be given to the artist for their wasted time and she would contact the owner/franchisee to see if I could reschedule. Essentially, I was being blacklisted. The manager/lady was rude as soon as I arrived in store, she had no idea of what I originally asked for. I tried to explain that I had originally missed and rescheduled my first appointment due to my chronic illnesses, mostly my rare form of Leukemia because I suffer from chronic fatigue and chronic pain. She spoke over the top of me and said I'd never told them that. Why would I as that is quite private? I asked for my deposit back as I am having another Laparoscopy and Cystoscopy for my left ovary that is in chronic condition. They refused. My mum was with me and a witness to all of this. I've been loyal to this parlour because I've always been treated with kindness, respect and Dia is a great artist. I never had any issues in the past and was always early. I contacted them on Instagram with my Chronic Myeloid Leukemia diagnosis letter and a recent medical letter stating how bad my chronic fatigue and chronic pain has been, especially in the past three months. I also, sent through my surgery paperwork to show I needed the deposit back due to it all being through private. I showed them the original messages on Instagram of what I had asked for and was shown something completely different when I came into store. They did not take on board or listened to what I'd originally asked for. I've never been treated so horrifically by someone at a tattoo parlour before and completely dismissed. Please find attached the messages between us and what I messaged through to the parlour after I'd been dismissed, and left. Update: I've been blocked on Facebook and Instagram for leaving an honest review about my experience in store. Which clearly shows they do not want to discuss the situation that happened and work anything out.

Positive experience: Lovely all round experience with Devan but was charged $210 (+ an eftpos fee) for a 5c coin sized lined heart that fell out within days of being done.

Fantastic experience: Devan did a gorgeous piece for me, worked with me on spacing and positioning and it turned out perfectly. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I had previously gotten a tattoo here and had a good experience, so I reached out again to inquire about a hand tattoo in a similar style. They advised me to book an appointment to discuss the design and get a quote, so I drove 40 minutes after work to meet with them. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was informed that the artist I had booked to speak with wasn’t available. On top of that, I was told that none of their artists would feel comfortable doing a hand tattoo unless the client is heavily tattooed. I was disappointed to find this out only after making the commute, especially since I already have multiple tattoos, including one on my finger. It’s strange to me that a tattoo shop would be selective about who they’ll put a hand tattoo on. Maybe it’s because if it doesn’t turn out great, it’d be too obvious on someone who’s not completely covered. Now I get why my heavily tattooed friends laughed when I said I was going to Celebrity Ink.

Fantastic experience: Devan made me feel at ease and comfortable from the start, my designs were exactly what I asked for and the whole team were great! I will be back for more art work with Devan

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved my whole experience with the celebrity ink team from the moment I walked in and was talking about what I'd like to getting me in for an appointment with Pere. To say I was impressed was an understatement!! I was getting two small pieces, one near the crease of my elbow which was a bit sensitive but Pere had soft hands and made sure I was comfortable and happy with everything before we got started. She was happy to move a stencil and I didn't feel like there was any awkward conversation or silence. I cant recommend Pere enough!

Fantastic experience: Booked in with Pere for a full Day. I arrived before 10:00, I applied another layer of tattoo numbing cream so we started at 10:20. A full day would be heavy on the eyes and the body, a full day I expected a fair bit done so I said we'll outline all of the bugs and see what we get coloured. Pere was consistent and only took breaks when I wanted to go to the toilet. Very professional energy and vibe from all staff. The artwork on the walls is modern and I got into my zone very quickly. The energy of the staff felt deflated yet very professional. Pere finished all bugs and I was wrapped up by 4:20. Excellent day session. Looking forward to seeing the background she creates. Fantastic experience: I came in as a walk-in to get my first tattoo and the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and extremely helpful! Dia did such an incredible job with sketching out my idea in a short amount of time, without shortcuts nor compromising any intricate details. I absolutely will be back to get another piece done because I’m in love with my new tattoo!

Fantastic experience: On the weekend, my niece and I decided to (last minute!) get matching tattoos. We happened upon Celebrity Ink in Carindale, and the girls moved heaven and earth to fit us in that day. Both of us found the experience to be outstanding! Not only was our design honoured, replicated and manipulated several times to suit our needs, but the girls working there showed such graceful wisdom in their advice as to the placement of the tattoos. Moreover, all staff members were authentic, friendly and accommodating. They demonstrated exceptional customer service, expert artwork and refreshingly insightful perspectives about the world around us. Our artwork was finished quickly in a superbly clean setting, and the finished products (the matching tattoos) are exquisitely positioned and crafted. Overall, our experience was beyond expectation, and myself and my niece left there on such a high. Thank you, lovely ladies at Celebrity Ink - you are a credit to yourselves and to the business. Fantastic experience: I recently got a tattoo done here by Devan. Couldn’t recommend this place more. The staff were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. This was my first tattoo, so my nerves were extremely high, however staff reassured me through the whole process- through offering comfort, lollipops, drinks and conversation to reassure. Throughout the tattoo process, the staff were constantly checking in and ensuring that I was 100% comfortable and okay. My artist devan was a gem! There is a ton I could say- but to keep it to a minimum. Her style of art is beautiful! She had a great eye for design and i absolutely loved how the tattoo looked. She double checked I loved the design and the placement. We did the first line which was when I realised it didn’t hurt at all. Through the entire process devan was ensuring I was okay, and making sure I was comfortable and happy, also was telling me what stages she was at with the process (for example shading) it was extremely relaxing, and devan made the environment so welcoming and comforting through conversations with me, reassurance and some laughter which made the whole tattoo process a dream. I was honestly scared for my first tattoo as I’ve heard some horror stories from some friends who went to other tattoo clinics however this was honestly a dream and I’m so so excited for my next tattoo with devan! Hand on heart I couldn’t recommend this tattoo place anymore!! My piece was beautiful and the staff are amazing! ☺️

Negative experience: I had my tattoos done a few weeks ago, got some flash sale tattoos done by DIA, terrible, they were rushed, the ink has fallen out, (apparently it’s normal for fine line tattoos to drastically fall out) would not recommend this place to someone i hate, awesome customer service from the girls that were at the front but the artist..not so great. the lines are terribly shaky, looks like i got my little sister to tattoo me, I’m telling everybody i know to never go there

My Tattooist today was Dia who was amazing and we also had alot of help from Rudi with suggestions about the Metallica Tattoo that I saw and finally got my 1st Tattoo today. Their Tattoo artists have great creative artwork and able to create your ideas onto your skin.

Fantastic experience: Each time I get tattooed at Celebrity Ink Carindale I am always made to feel welcome and comfortable. The studio is clean and organised. I have been tattooed by three separate artists but the majority being from Dia. Fantastic experience: Josh tattooed myself and my partner and was super accommodating as we just walked in for a spontaneous tattoo. He was so friendly. Made us feel so comfortable and it was such a fun time in the shop. Our tattoos are better than we had hoped and we are so happy with the outcome. Coming from Sydney to Brisbane it is DEFINITELY worth the trip, 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved getting tattooed there. I went to Devan and she did an amazing job. She drew up the perfect design which encapsulated everything I wanted from the reference photos. She did a total of 4 tattoos for me. I love every one of them. Fantastic experience: A friend recommended this studio to me. From enquiring to booking to getting the tattoo itself, things went smoothly. The team were all so wonderful, especially my artist, Dia. She had some brilliant ideas on how to upgrade an existing tattoo that got done at a different studio, explaining what techniques she was using and allowing me to chat her head off. I'm already going back for my next tattoo by the end of the week, this time to get an original piece by her! Her fine line work is great (it's cool seeing the the other team memebrs with her ink on them) and I knew before I was finished with my first appointment that I would be coming back for a second and third.

Fantastic experience: Best tattoo experiences I've ever had. Reliable communication on their socials and over the phone, they listen to what you want but also give input to make sure you end up with a beautiful tattoo with longevity. I have been tattooed by Josh and Dayron. Dayron is an unbelievable artist. He did my tatto freehand, which was a bit scary, but the end result was gorgeous and so much better than the reference pic I came in with. Josh's tattoos are so clean and flawless, and he is extremely easy to have a chat to for the duration of the time in the studio. All the staff are super friendly and professional, particularly Rudi, and its great to see how much they all seem to enjoy working together. They all are happy to have a laugh and are constantly checking in to make sure the customers are okay. Great music, too!
