Fantastic experience: Super good vibes!‍♀️ I’m an Italian girl and I went to Jess’s studio without really knowing English, but she was incredibly kind and accommodating. She understood exactly the idea I had in mind, and I absolutely loved the 6 hours in the studio despite the physical effort of getting tattooed. Highly, highly recommended!

Negative experience: I had a tattoo done here in 2024. I recently tried to book again for March 2026 but have had no response. Since mid 2025 I have sent two emails, a Facebook message, and attempted to call, without any reply. I initially wanted to return to support a fully vegan business; however, the lack of communication has been disappointing. In hindsight, the tattoo itself still has some raised areas over a year later and a few small blowout spots. During the appointment, the artist spent much of the time chatting with other staff rather than focusing on the work. There were also instances where staff were reading and discussing other clients emails and mocking the requests those clients had made, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable as a paying customer.

Fantastic experience: What a beautiful studio. I'm so happy I came here to get my tattoo done by Jess. Such a remarkable and talented young woman. I cannot wait to come back for another tattoo. Maybe next year. Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: Got my cover-up tattoo on Wed 02/04/25 and it was a sentimental piece relating to my grandmother and cultural heritage. This had to be one of the best tattoo session experiences I've had in a while, Emily, my lovely artist, free-handed much of it and was so easy-going, understanding, and considerate with little changes I wanted to tweak, which I greatly appreciated. The overall vibe of the studio was a 10/10, I would highly recommend Fox & Moon to anyone, especially for those who are perhaps nervous about their first tattoo because I know from my own experience, studios can be a bit intimidating and unfortunately, there are some out there that arent so accommodating and relaxed! The team at Fox & Moon will certainly make you feel at ease throughout the process. I would definitely return here if i wanted anything else. Fantastic experience: I was tattooed by Sianna and she did an incredible job, I got one of her beautiful orchid flashes and the linework and everything about is perfect, I'm so obsessed! Will definitely be making this my studio. Sianna was so welcoming and comforting to hang out with while she was working her magic. I've never felt more at ease during an appointment in my life!

Fantastic experience: As soon as you walk into the studio you are greeted with a smile and warm aura, all the staff are so friendly and inviting to all. The work they do in the studio is impeccable and the care they take of you is so reassuring, so you know you are in good hands. I’ve had multiple tattoos done by Bri and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough with the time, detail and thought she puts into each piece, I will definitely keep going back! Fantastic experience: My friend and I had a walk in session with Shannon and we are both really happy with our tattoos. We had no idea really what we were after when we came in, Shannon was patient, helpful, and super nice. She didn't rush the tattoo, but time seemed to go really fast still. The studio is great, you can tell they really care about safety and cleanliness. Great experience, can't fault it at all! <3

Fantastic experience: Had some patchwork tattoos done by Katie @scattatts this morning. She was so lovely and clearly very passionate about her work. She did such a great job, she was so gentle and took time to make sure the tattoos were perfect. The fox and moon studio was clean, spacious and the girls there were all Lovley. Negative experience: I reached out to the studio early March 2024 with a design in mind and asked if there was an artist willing to tattoo it. The studio got back to me pretty quickly to book a time and date but when I asked for an account to submit a deposit to, I got radio silence. I followed up at the end of March and heard nothing. Then early April I received a call from the artist apologizing and wanting to reschedule. I rescheduled with her and had my tattoo done early April. The artist was lovely, and I enjoyed getting my first tattoo. I was told if I book a touchup within 3 months of getting my tattoo it would be free. I followed all the aftercare and let it heal but it's patchy. I'm super pale and you can easily see white popping through the colour. I reached out at the end of April/early May to book the touch up and again got an immediate response asking for pictures and asking what I was concerned about. I sent the photos and asked if I could just have the colour touched up, the studio told me that my request was passed onto the artist, and she would be in touch. I waited till the end of May and heard nothing, so I reached out again. On the 24/05 I was told the artist would contact me that day. No one reached out. I'm still here with my patchy tattoo, embarrassed for people to see my arm. I was pretty nervous to reach out to a studio in the first place, worried that I would get pushed aside or I would get an artist who didn't really want to work on the design and wouldn't care about it. Pretty upset that those fears are confirmed, and I now have to pay more to fix my tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Emily was perfect, we bonded over our shared love of books and the tattoo she has given me is STUNNING! Really good communication from the studio and a lovely space to be in for hours. Will definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!

Negative experience: Unfortunately the experience has been very poor. Repeated rescheduling/cancellations over a period of weeks/months with little to no communication from neither the tattoo artist or the studio. Ultimately there has been a blatant disregard for the customer on this occasion despite a deposit being paid early on in the process. A deposit that is yet to be refunded. Sorry to say, it's been a very disappointing experience.

I totally recommend anyone wanting a brilliant and affordable tattoo with friendly and outgoing staff to go and get it done here. Haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. Fantastic experience: Was fortunate enough to get a tattoo done by Kelly yesterday. The whole process of booking in with Stephanie and Erin was easy aswell as the consult with Kelly beforehand. The tattoo was of my grandfather and it was my first colour piece and Kelly did him justice and I can’t thank her enough for her time yesterday. My family is thrilled with the result. I would definitely recommend Fox and Moon to anyone interested in getting a tattoo as the shop is filled with talented artists with different styles who can cater your requests.

Amie was a great artist to be around, made us feel super welcome and did a wonderful job on the tattoos. The studio is an all female team in a large, open shop with a great vibe and would happily go back.

Fantastic experience: I’m highly recommend Kelly, she is so friendly and nice, her technique is even better She added more colors to my original planet tattoo and the best part is the cat tattoo her designed for me also added flowers. Of course, I would also like to thank Fox & Moon, everyone is very friendly, and the store decoration is also very comfortable.

Negative experience: I'm sure their artists are amazing, but as a business they lack compassion. I was supposed to be getting tattood this last Monday at 2:30, however both myself and my children were very sick over the weekend. They sent me the reminder link at 2:37 on Saturday, so already within the 48 hr window before my appointment. I called at approximately 2:50 that day to let them know that I wouldn't be able to make it and the reasons why. During this call there was no mention of the fact that they considered this to be too short notice of a cancellation. When they called again on Tuesday to try to reschedule my appointment, they very bluntly told me that I had forfeited my deposit because I had cancelled within the 48hrs. I tried to explain that I had called as soon as I received the reminder (which they sent within the 48 hrs before my appointment) to which they just reiterated there rules. The call ended when they hung up without saying goodbye. I understand that they have these rules because people cancel for no reason. But I really tried to give as much notice as possible given the fact that I was unwell and caring for 2 others in the same boat and this was not at the forefront of my mind. I'm just disappointed that they don't seem to have much empathy for their customers. Perhaps something to keep in mind if you are looking for a studio that cares about you and not just making money.
