This was a cover-up of an older tattoo, and her skill in transforming it into something powerful and clean was outstanding. From start to finish, Agnetta was professional, friendly, and made the entire experience comfortable. Her attention to detail, artistic vision, and technical ability really show in the final piece—it’s bold, well-executed, and far exceeded my expectations. Most importantly, she’s incredibly talented and clearly knows her craft. I have full confidence in her work and will definitely be booking in with her again for my next tattoo. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: So I have been getting laser removal done, and my experience has been pleasant up until now where I have been back and fourth with the team as I had confirmed for my next appointment which I have always attended, usually the studio has always knocked my appointment back because either they are running late or something has come up - which I have been understanding of. Anyways fast forward to my current issue, I confirmed my appointment and due to unforeseen circumstances (I had a medical emergency way before my appointment and was in hospital for majority of my day) did not attend. The nature of my emergency was serious and while I did confirm the appointment, I had no idea what would happen the day of the appointment would happen, it was quite a scare and a lot was going on so at the time I was preoccupied with my health. While I was seeking medical treatment I got a text to see if I was still coming and responded explaining my situation. They then said after that, that they would be taking the $150 deposit I paid when scheduling the laser removal appointments that is supposed to come back to me once my sessions are completed. I explained again and said it was unfair, to which they responded that they would discuss it with management. Today I got a text saying that they are still going ahead with taking my deposit and I am distraught because with my current health issues I have not been well and barely do fun things for myself but always make sure despite how I am feeling to attend my appointments or have someone take me. I have been in tears because I have not had a bad experience with this place until today and the laser removal appointments have always been my priority because there are tattoos that I really wish gone but now because I have had the experience of dealing with the true ink candy identity, I would rather just part ways as they have ended business with me on bad terms. I get that appointments are important and it is a waste of your time if someone doesn't show, but if it is for something serious and unforeseen - I am sure you could be kind enough to allow someone grace seen as though I have never missed an appointment with you guys and have always been on time and have also been patient with you guys always changing appointment times on me when I have booked in for a certain time and your establishment always sending me a text to change it to later. I have been more than accommodating on your side when you want to change the times of appointment, yet you can't be accommodating for something that was a medical emergency and unforeseen. Your establishment had made money off of my health and I hope you are happy to pocket the money, because I am not and think it is unfair considering I have been accommodating in any need you have asked of me. Bye guys, I won't be back, that was a knife in the back to what was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Ink Candy enough! I walked in this morning asking for a quote on a chest piece, Bee had a cancellation while I was there and they fit me in straight away. While I was waiting for my stencil, I decided to book some flash pieces with Ree for afterwards. The pricing for both my chest piece and the flash pieces were very fair! Bee was very quick and efficient and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Ree is a wizard! All of the staff were super friendly and made me feel at home. Will be back for more!

Fantastic experience: Wow! Absolutely fantastic! All the staff were so lovely and welcoming. My tattoo lady was wonderful, and her tattoo skills are breathtaking. My leg turned out way better than I expected, I am so in love with it. Communicating with her was so easy, she was friendly and made me feel so comfortable. Laying there and being able to binge watch Netflix with no interfering toddler was so relaxing! The artists line work is speechless. So smooth! Beautiful line work! Fantastic attention to detail! She is extremely talented! The pricing was good! Although I did thought the day sessions were 10am to 6pm, where as my first session was 11am to 4pm for the day session. But the price was still great!

Negative experience: Someone quoted me for my tattoo and it was resoniable but once I got there and just before starting my tattoo she told me that my hand tattoo will get infected itchy dry and crack which didn't make me feel comfortable at all

Negative experience: I've had a few tattoos from here and overall I'm not impressed with the quality. The designs are pretty much all really cheap but I think that's for a reason. The artists themselves are mostly very nice and talented but the quality of ink and etc is definitely lacking. I also had one artist who just straight up did not do what I asked for and I'm not happy with that at all. I wouldn't go back and I can't say I recommend. Personally, I recommend spending that bit more to ensure you get something you're going to love. I've switched from here to Celebrity Ink and much prefer that studio over this one.

B is a quiet tattooist but only because she is focusing hard on what she’s doing, and it shows in her work. I’ll definitely be back for more work at Ink Candy. Negative experience: The worst and most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a tattoo studio. I originally messaged their fb page with a reference photo aswell as the placement wanted and preferred measurement (standard information given for a design to be tattooed) I was then told to go into the studio to be quoted so I "wasn't quoted wrong". I then drove almost an hour to the studio with my 2 young children just to be told they could not do that design in the measurements given. When I asked why this information wasn't given to me via messenger and why I had to drive to the studio to be told this. I was told "because most our customers are OK with resizing" I'm sorry but this is not good enough. To just assume that every client is going to be the same and be OK with something. I have multiple tattoos and I can't just 'resize' a picture, it needs to fit in blank areas and maybe. Change of design. so this information would have been great before I took the 50minute drive. If I knew, I wouldn't have bothered. And then to be told im going to be charged more to "redesign" a silhouette image? I've never heard of such a thing and I feel I was led on just to enter the studio in hopes for the wool to be pulled over my eyes. I was then blocked on social media? For what? So I can't leave a review? I did not abuse any staff, i stated that it was unprofessional and I could have been informed about this over messenger so I can re think it all instead of wasting my time and money, all because their staff ASSUMING. 10/10 do not recommend. Edit review, via reply from studio- This information is nothing that couldn't have been communicated through messenger, especially with the mandala seahorse design. I specified the size, I also specified that I would be happy for it to be redesigned If the sizing was too small. If that isn't something that could be done, I would have rather been told prior entering the studio so i could have found another design to suit the size we were wanting. Instead I had to come to the studio to be told this? And then when I asked why this was the case I was told "because most our clients are happy to have a design resized"? I'm sorry but I found that very unprofessional. Both myself and my friend have our fair share of tattoos already and were wanting a specific size to fill some spaces.

Negative experience: They don’t shave or clean the area before tattooing. Hair can harbour bacteria which can lead to irritation and infection.

Negative experience: I took my daughter for her birthday a present and paid in full for her tattoo. When she went back today she was charged extra. The quality is average at best. Avoid this place

Negative experience: I would highly not recommend this studio, “artist” Ryan who did my tattoo 4 years ago gave me a completely different design from what I had showed and explained to him and had left me with raised and bumpy tattooed ink which has still not healed 4 years later. If you do not want to be disappointed I would suggest you do not go here for a tattoo.

Clean and professional, and I thank Izzy at front desk for her welcoming greeting and also Lyrik for her amazing work doing my tattoo. Making sure I was comfortable in the chair offered me a cushion to rest on, gave me a fantastic price and an awesome tattoo. Positive experience: Went here for a flash design and not very happy with the experience. I saw the $90 tattoos advertised online and it’s not made obvious anywhere that an apprentice will be tattooing them. Maybe I’m just stupid but if it’s not made obvious via advertising then it at least ought to be specified prior to booking an appointment. I only realised that an apprentice would be tattooing upon signing the papers (by then I had already paid). The artist did not introduce herself and made zero effort to be pleasant. I had attempted to initiate conversation twice (not during the tattoo however as I understand that can be distracting) and was ignored on both occasions. I also attempted to thank her on my way out the store but she didn’t even say goodbye. Super impersonal service. As for the tattoo two lines are fussy, areas left open intended to be solid black and certain spots unsymmetrical. All of this occurring on a simple flash design. Just save your money.

I absolutely LOVE the artists, they are all amazing, talented, friendly and professional. I recently got my first back piece from Ree and oh my gosh am I in love!!!!! Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would, my friend got a tattoo done with the scripture 2022 and the artist permanently messed up it by writing 2002, she had one job and the stencil had 2022 on it. They proceeded to not give a refund or discount even tho it was her first tattoo and was supposed to have a meaningful message. They offered a free touch up even though most places do that for free anyways and there is only so much that can do. The owner was really rude, unsympathetic and tried to manipulate us into thinking it was correct. The only good thing about this experience was the receptionist, she was lovely. BUT DO NOT GO THERE.

Negative experience: Got a tattoo here when they had their small tattoos for $80 deal on, went in and it cost $120 which i don’t mind, but they didn’t mention an apprentice was going it, she messed up the tattoo, my tattoo was only writing so not hard. noticed and just stared at me. not even 3 months later it was already super faded, asked for her to touch it up and just got left on opened. terrible service.

Negative experience: i don’t wanna give them a one star because they really do have lovely staff and have some amazing tattoo artist i’ve just come to give my experience i got a very personal tattoo for my mum who passed away, i got my very first tattoo done at ink candy and i absolutely love it amazing work by ryan i came back for my second and most important tattoo for my mum as i trusted them cause my first one turned out so well i got a different tattoo artist the second time round who is also amazing at her work as i did some research before i came into get it i don’t know if it was just an off day for her or my skin is difficult to work with but it’s was miss printed one of the roman numerals and they wernt straight or even at all looks like a home job tbh i came back in they said they’d fix it for free only cost i’d be charged for was a $30 needle fee which i found a bit odd as it doesn’t cost that much for one needle but besides the point i was happy to pay cause i wasn’t happy with it after the touch up i’m honestly still not happy with it and this is not hate towards ink candy just happens to everyone at one point if your going to get tattoos i guess i’m just a lil upset i took so much precaution and still got botched i will be covering the tattoo which is unfortunate cause i don’t really want something big but life is life ig but don’t be worried about going to ink candy they really do have some amazing artist

Negative experience: I left this establishment forgoing $100 deposit as "artist" couldn't draw. Read the accurate recount for details! The "artist" who drew a few attempts despite having a drawing for reference still couldn't translate a simple concept. A dude of few words. Being my first, I decided I would capitulate and accept a more basic rendition only to realise that his drawing would need to be reversed. The lines were blotchy and could have passed as a tracing done by my 6yr old. I decided the hussle was complete and the "artist" made $100 for 10 minutes of my time... for nothing but a funny recount. I'm a perfectionist and would not allow a someone to permanently scribble on my skin. Be warned people, the pain of tattoo removals are not just physical but financial burdens. I can't imagine how he would have maintained uniformed lines over blotchy pen line without serious fading and looking terrible. They also charge for touch ups! I don't recommend this establishment! I also have reconsidered the appeal of ink and will happily sport my biopsy scar with pride. Love yourself people and make sure you love what will be forever; even if it fades, it won't completely disappear! I'm glad I walked out! Edit; owner makes out I got the scribble inked, take a breath before responding! Constructive criticism is vital. Reviewing gives foundations for benchmarking!

Positive experience: Ree the owner is very lovely, CJ who was our artist is great and does amazing work, but if needing to book a touch up, it is beyond difficult. When I originally booked to get my tattoo done, I was told it was cancelled the day prior after waiting months due to the artist being sick, but they thankfully got me in a few days later. Getting my touch up was quite easy, but my partner had his touch up booked for many months, was told on the day it was cancelled and offered a touch up almost four months later, when already had to wait around 3 months. If requiring a touch up, I'd personally book somewhere else, but is just a shame as the owner is lovely and artists are great. Been to many different studios and never had to wait longer than a few weeks. Also need to pay for a touch up as well, which I've never had to at other establishments.

Fantastic experience: The best tattoo place in Perth. I have gotten my whole leg done with Ree and her attention to detail is on another level. She has looked after me since I first started coming in. I will be continuing my tattoo journey with her in the future. Thank you REE!!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Ree for 15 years now and I won’t go to anyone else, the quality of her tattoos and the whole experience of going in is just amazing, the people that work there are all amazing and it’s such a fun place to go and have a tattoo. It’s worth the money you spend and the quality you get. I’m very proud to be a walking art book for Ree and her amazing tattooist that work there, highly recommend going to Ink Candy for any tattoo. Thanks for all the hard work and fun times I have had I will def be coming back again always!

Negative experience: Worst customer service. The asian lady owner is very rude. If you love your body never ever walk to this place. Because the owner is just greedy for money. Posted about the bad experience I had with ink candy shop on a facebook tattoo group and got so many comments with bad experience other people had. Its your choice to go here but just wanted to warn with this review, because tattoos are permanents and think twice before you go. Don’t want anyone to end up with a toddler drawing in your body like mine.

Negative experience: I went to them for my second and third tattoo First tattoo was a bouquet of flowers on my arm at first I liked how they drew. It out and liked everything about it until my artist B did the tattoo it was supposed to take 3 hours and she rushed it in 1.5hours looked good at first I followed all the advice they gave me for the healing process brought the cream they suggested and everything for it still to need fixing and some of the lines on my arm aren’t even straight it’s not horrible but I expected more for something that I’m paying to have PERMANENTLY placed on my body I have since had it toner up and it looks 100x better My second experience with them was a butterfly on my leg looked good when it was first done until it had healed and realised they had missed so many spots in wing that was blacked out and not even in the outline and it’s all over the place currently in the process of getting it fixed up but I shouldn’t have to for an artist mistake and not taking the proper care and time to make sure it’s perfect I went back a second time to see if it was a one off thing and it wasn’t so I wouldn’t go back And I wouldn’t recommend it too anyone You get what you pay for at the end of the day I guess……

Negative experience: Messaged them to ask for a quote on a tattoo of my second childs name just like my first childs name only to be told that tattoo was “not optimal” and they offer a “better quality at this studio”. They were the ones who did the first tattoo. Basically admitted to giving me a tattoo that’s below their standard. When confronted with this the person back peddled faster than lance armstrong going downhill. Totally unprofessional response and will not be going there for the second tattoo as it has left a bad taste in the mouth.

Positive experience: The shops response on FB chat was ok. Bit of confusion around the automated replies on FB chat saying "send us a message and we'll reply when we're open", but then someone replying straight away on a Sunday. Then when they couldn't help me, because the shop wasn't open, they rather impolitly told me to message back when they were open. Kind of defeats the purpose of the automated message. But all sorted out in the end. My tattoo turned out lovely. It's a fine line tattoo and I am very happy with it. The only knock back in stars was it smelled like someone was smoking inside.

Fantastic experience: Want to say a massive thanks to CJ for an amazing job. Did a full day with him and was extremely impressed. The studio is also very well done, clean and welcoming. All the staff and the ladies at the front counter were friendly. Will absolutely be returning for CJ to work more of his magic on me. Thanks again!

Negative experience: Unprofessional. Didn’t reply to my message (as an existing customer) for another tattoo removal session, because I didn’t want to drive all the way to their store to book an appointment. Which would be a waste of my time as a consultation isn’t needed.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Ink Candy by a friend. I was suspectable rather in doubt. However, I gave it a go. I went there for tattoo removals because I do not trust it fits on my skin/ body any longer. First impression was the environment was spacious and stylish. The artists and professionals ( tattoo removal person) are professional. They enquired my medical condition and my skin/ hair pigments thoroughly ( please trust me on this, not every place of beautiful salon of which some places provides what could be considered more dangerous if infected etc than this). They also refuse to do any procedures that might lead to their clients' injuries. Also, the prices are incredibly reasonable. ( make me want to have a small tattoo of my pet ..OH...NO..hahahaah). They respect their clients with the appropriate enclosures ( curtain/ and special room) that do not feel claustrophobic. There are countless adorable pattern of tattoo for you to be inspired. Later on , I stayed longer to talk to the owner. You would n't believe how much special disinfectant tissues she used in order to wipe her tiny portable drawer which she uses during the tattoo session. In the nutshell, Ink Candy Tattoo is awesome. !!! :)

Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo yes I loved it.. chose the design I wanted of the Arcade Bear face. The team was quite helpful, affordable price. Didn't feel any pain when I was in the chair. Definitely would recommend and comeback to choose my next design for what I want next on arrival.
