Fantastic experience: Emma was so helpful and great, she really knows what she’s doing and after having a bad consultation at a previous place, fine line studios was perfect for my first tattoo and it turned out way better than expected. I felt super at home and the place gives off a great vibe. Emma’s actual work is insane and i was actually so surprised with how well my tattoo turned out way better than expected. She really takes the time to understand what you want and is great at following references to the T. I would highly recommend this place for anyone.

Fantastic experience: I don’t normally do reviews. But couldn’t help and do one. This was my first tattoo and safe to say I was really nervous getting it. But Adrian was very comforting, I felt relaxed before and while getting the tattoo. If I were to get another one it definitely would be here. (Also Adrian’s design was miles better than my reference image )

Had my tattoo inked and designed by Adrian - he was so patient and generous with his time to make sure i was happy with placement and design, particularly as I asked for a last minute change which he accommodated with no issues. He was also able to translate perfectly my vague wish list into an incredible work of art that I honestly can't stop staring at! I'm genuinely super stoked with the end result, my mind and expectations were blown out of the water - highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo done with Adrian. I was having anxiety. But Adrian got everything well prepared: design, size, and placement. My tattoo design and placement are a bit tricky; it is on wrist, it is an aksara script and in a tricky spot as well. Adrian did a good job; he was adjusting the stencil placement for different arm positions to make sure my tattoo is in the best placement to look straight. Adrian also did his job smoothly, which made me feel comfortable and at ease during the session, so all my anxiety was gone. I tell you guys, it is not as painful as I thought. Definitely get another one soon with him.

Fantastic experience: Adrian’s work is flawless! First tattoo and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Adrian is patient and makes you feel completely comfortable throughout the whole process. I decided last-minute to get a second small tattoo, and he happily fit it in. My main piece was a personalised script that combined several examples, and he nailed the design perfectly on the first go. The line work is immaculate, and I honestly couldn’t recommend Adrian enough. The photo is my tattoo the day after.

Fantastic experience: My first tattoo and I had the best experience with Adrian. I sent a photo prior, while to my novice knowledge, the photo I sent was really pixelated and hard to work with. Adrian did a brilliant job of drawing out the image and after a few drawings, we got the perfect one. I am so thankful for the patience because it’s something important that will be on you forever and Adrian said just that, there was no pressure to rush it and to get the right thing. Fantastic experience: Emma was amazing! Booked in for a small 30 minute session but due to miscommunication on my part the design ended up being bigger than anticipated. Emma was really accommodating and managed to still fit me in despite needing more time than we thought. Design she drew up was exactly what I wanted and so pretty. Fantastic experience: Got my first ever tattoo done by Emma back in January and shortly after booked in for another session before leaving Perth. After doing research prior, I was drawn to her neatness and focus towards quality. Very happy with how the tattoos have turned out & healed in the time. Both sessions were very efficient & she made sure I was happy with design & placement before starting. Both my bookings were 3 months in advance as she’s fully booked out. But once date planned ahead it was easy to get the bookings in, went online at midnight and got the booking secured. Delighted I chose Fine Line Studio and highly recommend to anyone considering.

I had hurt my back badly prior to my appointment and she accommodated me happily so I didn't have to lie down. I'm very happy with my beautiful rose tattoo that she adapted to a smaller size on the day. My friend who came with me loved the studio. It was so professional. This was my first time getting a tattoo so I was extremely nervous about it but as soon as I got to the studio all my nerves went away. Adrian was extremely professional and helpful in any way he could be, answering any questions we both had and making us feel extremely welcome and relaxed. This allowed us to have such a wonderful experience and one we will definitely remember. Adrian's experience is definitely shown in the quality of his work, I have had many compliments on the precision of my tattoos and how they are the best tattoos they have seen, with such a fine line. Thank you Adrian for giving me such wonderful pieces and pieces I will be able to love forever. Negative experience: Bad customer service and poor professionalism as a business owner. She was in a terrible mood even though we were paying her for a service that was not cheap and was quick money for her. My friend and I paid her $400 for 2 fine line cross tattoos that were roughly 2 cm in length, totalling about 10 minutes of tattoo time. Overpriced for just a vertical and horizontal line, with no extra design. It was the first time I had gotten a tattoo and when I was deciding the placement of it on my ribs, I found that she was unhelpful, indifferent/ annoyed when I wanted to change the position of the stencil. She did not give any direction regarding aftercare for my new tattoo either.

Negative experience: My friend and I recently visited this tattoo studio for what should have been an exciting experience. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by passive aggressive and unprofessional behaviour from the owner. Firstly, the booking process was confusing. While I did provide my desired design when booking, the confirmation email failed to highlight any outstanding information or clarify important details and therefore, I never sent a picture of my design (which btw was explained in the initial booking with placement - ie. a cross on the ribs and ankle about 3cm). When I arrived, I was met with condescension and blame for not responding to a follow-up email, which I never received. She proceeded to tell me she cancelled our appointment. She decided to change her mind and go ahead. Throughout the session, the owner's demeanour remained unkind and unhelpful. Despite it being my friend's first tattoo, there was no effort to make her feel comfortable or offer guidance on design placement. The pricing was misleading. We were quoted one price during booking but were charged significantly more upon arrival, with no explanation given. $400 for 4 lines, little help and 30 minutes of her time. At the end of the appointment, the owner mentioned that the follow-up email was in her draft and never actually sent. She gave no apology. This was clearly a misunderstanding from both parties, but she seemed intent on pushing the blame entirely on me. Overall this was an underwhelming experience. As someone with multiple tattoos, I have never encountered such poor customer service. The tattoo is lovely but not worth the money and service received. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this studio to others.
