Baldev's Instagram account captivated me, I love how he works with blacks and reds, and how he is capable of both extreme simplicity and extreme complexity. I finally was able to book an appointment, we just decided to fill in the space between two of my stripes with red ink. The experience was exactly as I anticipated - he is sensitive, kind, patient, creative, takes the time to sit with you and discuss the work, shows you the needles and the expiry date to ensure you understand that he takes health and hygiene importantly, and the atmosphere in his shop is relaxing.
