Negative experience: I felt really unsafe and uncomfortable around the men in the shop, the atmosphere was so stressful and I heard the guys in the back saying horrible things and saying slurs like it was nothing. I noticed that the shop was pretty dirty.

The artist I’ve worked with, Matt, is not only incredibly talented but also patient and attentive. He really takes the time to listen to my ideas and bring my visions to life, all while making me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. The quality of work is outstanding. I couldn’t be happier with how all of my tattoos have turned out. The lines are clean, the detail is perfect, and the aftercare instructions are always clear and helpful. Negative experience: I wouldn’t bother with this place if I was you because most likely your appointment will be given away even when you show up on time. Me, my mom, and sister called around 2pm about availability for matching tattoos and on the call there lady that answered the phone said that there is an availability at 7:30 pm and when we arrived the lady at the front desk said she had someone else who came in and that we could come back tomorrow. Even though we called and set a scheduled time to show up at 7:30 and all she said was “I never got a text from you” but never informed us on the phone that we needed to message her. Very frustrating and this was the first time I tried out this company and drove 40+ minutes just for our appointments to be given away.

Not only is he a fantastic artist, who will bring your vision to life regardless of how out there it might be, he treats you like a friend and more often than not you leave the shop feeling like you’ve just been bsing with a good friend the tattoo is just a bonus. Also, each artist's space is spread out enough so it doesn't feel crowded which makes it feel less overwhelming and little more private when you get work done. Crystal has now done 5 tattoos for me ranging in size and style. She really takes the time to design what I have in mind and easily makes any changes if I ask, she always cares about my comfort level and checks in during sessions, she is very easy to talk to and does absolutely amazing work! I'm still so IN LOVE with every piece of art I've received from her over the years and always look forward to new sessions!

I’ve been going to reverence to see Gabby for a long time at this point and I can’t see my self going any where else! I am exited for every appointment because when I walk in the shop I am greeted with a worm welcome by Gabby and the other tattooers. My experience with Gabbys willing ness to work with me in order to create a peace that I will love has surpassed any one else I’ve gotten tattooed by. In terms of the shop. It is a comfortable clean environment with a ton of talent. I don’t think you’d find a better spot.

Fantastic experience: I recently got my last three tattoos from Elisa, and I can’t recommend her enough! Her creativity is amazing - she takes my ideas and turns them into beautiful art. Not only do I love my ink but she listens attentively and guides you through the entire process, making it a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Negative experience: I wish I had a better experience here but I did not. It was really because of the tattoo artist that did mine, Elisa. When I initially told her what I wanted she made me feel dumb and repeated it loudly asking if that’s really what I wanted then scoffing as I said yes. It was embarrassing. As I worked with her on the tattoo I felt like she was annoyed the whole time and judging me. She did help me to get it to how I wanted it which was nice but it just felt like she didn’t like the tattoo I wanted so she was rolling her eyes and dismissing me the entire time. It’s sad for me because this was my first experience getting a tattoo and I’d say it was a very negative one. I think she would have been more kind and accommodating had she liked the tattoo I wanted but that’s not what it should be. It’s my body and that’s what I wanted and I did end up loving the tattoo but the experience was not very good. I will say the front desk girl was very kind and welcoming. The place was clean and they took me as a walk in which I did appreciate! The tattoo shop is honestly great! I’d say it was just the tattoo artist Elisa, that ruined my experience.

Negative experience: It sounds like I had a unique experience with Eliza. I asked if she could do a custom and she took on my design. I appreciate her willingness to work with me, it was difficult getting to the finished product because it seemed like there was some communication issues between us. She just didn’t seem to understand what I was asking for, even with the photos of what I drew up. I went in for my touch up and was very specific for what I wanted, I had a photo of what I drew over the tattoo. She did the touch up and changed the wrong part. I don’t know. I think we might of not vibed. While tattooing me she only talked to the other artists. Despite all that, she has very clean line work and the quality is very good.

Fantastic experience: I was tattooed by Elisa on two separate occasions. One for a best friend tattoo walk-in and the other for a larger piece on my shin. She’s clean, creates a comfortable environment, is fun to chat with, and is an amazing artist! Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience: I was tattooed by Elisa in late February of this year and she was absolutely phenomenal to work with. My friend and I showed up less than an hour before the shop closed and she took the time to review the sketches we sent her, adjust them and ask us some questions, confirm placement (multiple times) and made us feel so at ease. Her work is stunning and I can’t recommend her higher!

Fantastic experience: I got tattooed by Elisa today, and not only did she make me feel very comfortable from the get go, but took her time to explain what she was going to do, how she was going to do it, make sure I absolutely loved the placement AND the freehand drawn on portions, but she even stopped after the line work to show me different options on how to proceed with the shading and how I’d prefer it, truly an amazing experience with an amazing human! Highly recommend going to her, she’s great at what she does and has great conversation to go along with it!

I feel like I can join in a conversation at any time. I feel very welcomed. The artists get along and there no drama. There is shop talk, but I like that. Matt Crawley, my artist is amazing. He works fast,percise and has a light hand. Seeing all of the artists work, they all have an amazing work ethic, and a style. If you want it they can do it. If you aren't getting tattooed here you are missing out!

(photo isn’t very good, hard to take it ) i’m very thankful i ended up with him, i talked to one lady there and she quoted me $250 an hour come to find out she’s only an apprentice. gasper truly pulled it off though, i definitely will be going back.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone to Reverence and tattooed by Matt Crawley for years now. He’s done my entire leg sleeve perfectly and with the most creativity that I’ve ever experienced. It’s been super rad to just let him make art the way he knows how, and then give me the permanent rad pieces he has. Literally no complaints about any of his work or how he conducts himself professionally. I’m super grateful I was pointed in his direction at the beginning of my leg sleeve because I honestly can’t imagine wanting anything different.

I was tattooed by Matt Peters and my husband was tattooed by Matt Crawley. During our visits, both my husband and I were surprised, and elated with the open discussion and collaboration from them both. They are masters of their craft. If you are truly looking for an amazing piece that you will hold dear to your heart, then this is the place for you. I simply sent an idea, and asked for feedback. I was utterly amazed with the end product, and was left sincerely beside myself with the achieved result! If you want something on your body that you have a true say in the creation of, and can work with the artist to obtain that result - this is your shop. You will be heard, your vision will be seen, and you will be truly shocked with the level of professionalism and communication that you are met with. No other shop (7 tattoos outside of this,) will meet those expectations... I promise you that you won't be disappointed; you need only start a dialog with your artist. Fantastic experience: Gabbi did an arm piece for me and the work was amazing. I planned on just doing the one for now, and walked out wanting her ideas to help piece together a sleeve in the near future. I would definitely recommend checking to see if she has any open spots in her books. @mackmade.tattoos As a shop: If you guys are looking for a really clean studio, with good artists all around, this is the place to go to. Very clean place, sociable and welcoming team, and by far the best shop I’ve seen in Utah so far.
