Fantastic experience: I loved my experience with this studio. Jacqueline did my tattoo which was very tedious and small. Everything came out so straight, so clean. Not very painful at all, as someone who freaks out with IVs it wasn’t scary like that. She has a very light hand and is very talented Will be coming back when I want another tat.

Fantastic experience: I got such a beautiful piece done by Consuelo. I got this piece done about a year ago, but I just realized I haven't written a review and Consuelo did such a beautiful and amazing job on my tattoo, I knew I still needed to write a review for her. Consuelo and I both designed this piece over a series of weeks to make sure it was really what I wanted, every detail perfect. Whenever I look down at the tattoo on my arm, it makes me smile and motivates me to do better (it's an idealization of who I can be). The color work and the fine line are impeccable. Consuelo did such gorgeous work on making my arm so much more pretty. Thank you Consuelo (Photo is from today)

They worked with my schedule and were very kind when I asked for updates. The lady who did mine was so amazing my tragus honestly hurt less than when I got my lobes done. Thank you for my 9th piercing! Best one yet. Will be back!!

Positive experience: I got my 2nd lobes done here by a older lady, and while she was really sweet she did not pierce me correctly. Both uneven, and my right side was slanted and hurt so bad even after 2 months. I eventually had to take them out because they would not heal despite my cleaning efforts. I dont think this place is bad at all but my experience wasn't the best.

Fantastic experience: I had such a wonderful experience getting pierced by Cambria, who is currently an apprentice—and honestly, you’d never know it by how professional and confident she was! From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and made me feel completely at ease. I was a little nervous going in, but Cambria took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Her calm and kind energy really helped settle my nerves, and I could tell she genuinely cared about making it a positive experience. The piercing itself was done with so much care and precision. It was quick, clean, and completely stress-free. Cambria also gave me thorough aftercare instructions and checked in to make sure I felt good before I left. If you're considering getting a piercing and want someone who’s not only skilled but also warm and professional, I highly recommend booking with Cambria. She's a natural at what she does, and I’m so happy with both the process and the result!

Negative experience: The lines of my tattoo fell out within a week. Mikayla said she'd fix it for free,then proceeded to make me wait two months to even get to it. She then informed me she was no longer working there, and I'd have to find a way out to Riverton. I don't drive due to health issues, so this was a huge inconvenience. One age dropped on me the morning of my touch up she'd already put off for two whole months. I reached out to Sugar to see if I could make an appointment to have it touched, even if I had to pay. I expressed my unhappiness with the experience, no reply. Neither the artist or the studio did anything to make it right. And I tipped!! I'd skip this studio and find real professionals to work with instead. Giving girls a bad name out here.

Fantastic experience: I got pierced by Kamm, she was super informative and made me feel comfortable. Two tragus and one helix. It was a breeze. I loved it

Negative experience: Me and my friend both got our piercing done here. I got nose, she got ear. BOTH of our piercings have been infected and it’s been months. We did all the aftercare. I even contacted them and they would never respond on what I should do. I had to go to a new piercing spot in salt lake and they helped me switch out my piercing and now it’s finally starting to heal. My friend went back to Australia and has finally decided to take out her ear piercing and try to heal her ear. Would never recommended this place

Fantastic experience: I took the Sugar Studios piercing masterclass last weekend and they are THE BEST. They provided us with so much supplies and walked us through every step of the piercing process. Highly recommend them if you're looking to get piercing certified!

Fantastic experience: I did my piercing apprenticeship through Sugar Studios. This place is amazing and taught me everything I need to know about starting a name for myself and being a great piercer. I highly recommend the piercing and tattoo programs sugar studios offer. Erica is so easy to work with and an inspiring woman all around. She teaches everything you need to know on how to pierce and start your business. Lauren has been such a great role model when it comes to being a great piercer. She takes the time to study her clients anatomy and make sure they are getting exactly what they want and a good quality piercing. Everyone in this studio is so talented and fun to be around. The environment is uplifting and exciting.

Negative experience: I saw on their socials they were looking for models for to get a free dermal, so I messaged them about coming in for back dermals and they said I could come in until 4 for them, I came in same day for their piercing party. When I got there the girl at the front desk had no idea what I was talking about when I told her about the free dermals so I proceeded to show her the messages and she hesitantly said she would honor that. I brought my siblings along to watch and we had no place to sit with all the clients and the limited space, so we stood around for about 45 minutes when I asked the girl at the front desk if she had an ETA and she said it would be another 15 minutes, so I took my siblings to get a coffee nearby only to come back and be told after an HOUR of standing around that my anatomy wasn’t incorrect.. and I understand that it’s a piercing party and there are lots of clients coming in with different accommodations but are we deadass I had to wait around for an hour and something to be just LOOKED at for my anatomy??? Crazy

Positive experience: I went for a piercing party to get my navel done, not knowing really what to expect the wait time was long so if you’re impatient keep that in mind. I didn’t mind it since I only live a few minutes away. Estimated 45 minute wait time and waited for about 60 minutes. I remember all the times because I looked at the texts I sent during the time there and pictures I took. Once we got to the back of the studio it took between 50-60 minutes to actually get pierced, the apprentice was very sweet but seemed just not confident enough, and that was really making me worried. I understand there are apprentices learning and I think that’s great. I’ve been pierced by an apprentice before for an eyebrow piercing and it was a max 25 minutes for the whole process ( different place ). It was an issue with repositioning placement but once what i’m assuming is a head teacher came over and talked about the way she needed to pierce it for my belly button I felt way more secure. I feel like the girl just needs some more one on one time to get confidence and learn how to talk to her clients with it. The studio is big the vibe is nice maybe it would be a different experience with a different lady but I was anxious like the entire time until the head teacher took over. Overall I like my piercing I hope it heals well and I hope that Angel gets some more one on one time to gain that confidence and build her experience.

Fantastic experience: Had my brow pierced by a sweet apprentice, overall really wonderful experience :) my piercer was very communicative and confident. I went for a piercing party, they had instructors there the whole time to guide the apprentices, though it seemed a bit chaotic/busy. Otherwise the vibes were well-crafted and professional while also inviting, and it was fun to be a part of somebody’s learning process and I’m very excited about my piercing! They also kept things very tidy and clean. We weren’t able to do the piercing exactly where I wanted due to my bone structure, but I love the placement my piercer/her instructor came up with and am grateful for the expertise. I went with two friends who also got piercings and it took about ~3 hours (wait time, prep, training the apprentices, discussions etc). My brow cost ~50 + tip, that’s including jewelry. I recommend registering in advance for the piercing party, and going in earlier in the day. I would recommend this experience if you’re the type of person who is adventurous and not easily fazed. :)

Positive experience: Got the daith it hurt but its so cute! I had to remove it after 3 months my ear became infected as I was allergic to the metal. And it made my migraines worse sadly

Fantastic experience: I came today to get piercings for the $35 dollar deal and they did amazing! I got my front helix on my left ear and flat on my right ear and they did amazing great job. They have the sweetest hospitality! It was my second time coming and will definitely come again!

Fantastic experience: I stopped in the shop to pe-pierce my belly button piercing, Lauren was the piercer and did a great job she was quick and made it almost painless which was great. The shop got me in within 10 mins of me calling.

Negative experience: All of my piercings I got here were done wrong, and they were done by the teacher. I got too excited about the price. It's not worth it. I've had 3 piercings done here and one of them needed to be done twice because she did it so bad the first time that she took it out before I could even see it because she knew she did it badly.

Fantastic experience: The studio feels very spacious + artistic, there seems to be a wide variety of artists which I love. Cami gave me some gorgeous custom print of my pups spotty ears and leopard spots, and a detailed hand piece. She was gentle, thorough with her placement, and I can’t wait to see how they finish healing up. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: Went in today for baby's first ear piercing. They were super understanding and showed patience when getting her prepped and procedure. They were quick and professional, all in all short time and less sad baby. Will be back again. Also we will definitely hype this place they are amazing friendly and professional. Coming from a very happy dad but I have some cash on me too fast though

Negative experience: Sugar Studios has terrible service. They are extremely slow, and it takes forever just to buy a simple earring. Even though the prices are ridiculously high, they don’t even bother to help you put it on, even if they see you struggling. There's no empathy at all, and the service is awful. I will never return and don’t recommend this place to anyone. They treat you like you’re just there for them to make money off of. The overall experience was deplorable and unpleasant. Avoid this place at all costs!

Michelle was a joy to work with; she was calm and confident, she took time to understand the tattoo I wanted, and the work area was clean and orderly. Fantastic experience: Lauren did my industrial piercing today and my nipple piercings a while back and she did a great job! My nipple piercings healed amazing and I am very prone to infections with piercings. Felt very comfortable during both appointments. Had a great experience!

Fantastic experience: I stopped in for their walk in tattoo time and I got the sweetest gal. She was very quiet but very efficient. She did beautiful work, I didn’t get her name unfortunately I’d love to see her again. I have the gal a note that was in my mom’s handwriting and she did an amazing job tattooing her handwriting. The place was definitely busy but very clean and nice. I’ll definitely be going back. My only negative is that the place was freezing. After three hours my hands were numb with how cold it was. The air literally blew on me the entire time, I walked outside and it was a relief from the cold.

Fantastic experience: Very nice studio. APP certified. Easy parking. Clean, with complimentary amenities. I had two piercings done by Lauren and they both look amazing. She was very patient with me as I tweaked the placement guide a couple times, and she pierced me very well, felt less pain than some others I’ve had done. Their studio is an open floor design so personally for me it felt a little less nervous to be in then a doctors office kind of room.

Fantastic experience: Let me start off with the aesthetics of the whole place. It’s super put together and absolutely adorable! The pink accents to everything is just sooooooo cute!!! Very comfy lobby area with complimentary drinks while you wait and some candy. Receptionists were very polite and super nice!! I got my tattoo done by Olivia and oh my gosh she did SUCH a good job! Nice even shading, consistent line work, gorgeous colors. Olivia was so nice and kept asking if I needed anything and kept checking in on me the whole time too!!! I’m so happy with how everything turned out!
