Fantastic experience: Zoe’s is dope! I had a great time getting my tattoo there. My wife and I will definitely be back. He did her tattoo as well, and it was fire. Negative experience: Got a septum piercing here a few years back. The experience was interesting to say the least... it was at the peak of COVID and this was the only place that would do a septum at the time. (Should have noticed the red flag) When he put the needle through, it was pretty painless and fast. Unfortunately, he said "uhoh" and said he had to re-pierce it. So, he takes the needle out and goes back through again and then puts the jewelry through. Honestly, I can see from the look on his eyes that it was still messed up... had me pay and didn't get any aftercare instructions. Get home and my room mate at the time was like "that is so crooked...." But I had read online that it can level out over time. Also, my septum is a little crooked already so I was hoping that was part of the issue. It never leveled out but it looked ok if I kept a ring in it, but couldn't put anything else in as it made it obvious it was crooked. Fast forward to today where I'm getting another piercing and I told the piercer about my issues. She took a look at it and immediately let me know that the previous piercer had put it right through my cartilage and not the tissue it's supposed to go in. Thankfully, since the original piercing is so off the mark, the new one won't go through any scar tissue.

Positive experience: I know I'm a difficult person to pierce. I have a terrible fear of needles. I make a point to inform the person doing mine of this fear, I make sure that they're still willing to do it, and I tell them that I have 1 small request, count to 3, put the needle in on 3. The man who was supposed to do mine was going to honor my request. His boss, not so much. Marched in, took over, and rudely shoved the damn needle in without a bit of warning. Literally scolded the employee for taking the time to do like I asked in front of me as if I wasnt even there. Will never go back. The poor staff member deserves a 5 star but the boss can blow me. If you arent willing to even count to 3, then don't expect a 5 star. The 3 is just as a reminder, 1 - 2 - 3... Not that damn hard. Kindly eat my shorts

Fantastic experience: Zoe is a very good tattoo artist and appeared to I go to him for all of my piercings. I’ve had four piercings five holes in my face at one time and he did them all and they all came out good. I’m so excited about it and I love that he is not far from my home so I don’t have to drive all the way 45 minutes away so when I seen that his place wasn’t far from me I went and checked it out and I thought it was a good place and I am glad I went there and I am glad I figured out. It was a wonderful place to go to. He is good on pricing and helps you out with it and anything you ask him to do while you want to do your piercing to be done. He will try to accommodate everything you need and want. I got two Labre’s on the left on the right I already had one Labre for my snake bite. The other hole on the other side was from the snake bite that was pierced at a slant so I had to take it out before they re pierced it and I had to go back in 6-8 weeks to re-pierce it not at Zoe’s somewhere else. And so I got the Medusa the two lip Labrea piercings the vertical Labre I’m done all at once by Zoe

Negative experience: I was given a set price for one piercing. I was told it would cost $20.00 for one piercing but I ended up paying $48.00 plus asked for an additional tip. I was shocked at the treatment and fluctuating prices for simple services. I spoke with the owner three times plus texted him after my first appointment at his establishment. Zoe treated me as if I was not important. And conducted business in person, by phone, plus by text in an erratic manner. Very rude.

Fantastic experience: I was in town for the day for work and needed a professional to help me essentially re-pierce my nose after having to remove my nose ring earlier that day for work and unable to get it back in myself. I called Zoe to see if this was something he could do, and he was very friendly and said he could take care of me about an hour later. When I arrived, he greeted me and told me he would be with me soon and I only had a couple minute wait. When he took me back it was a quick fix and he got me on my way. Even though I’m not local, I’m considering for my next ear piercing to drop in to visit Zoe again because of my brief but very positive and friendly experience!

Negative experience: Tried to make a ink appointment for my upcoming G day but never got a confirmation or even an acknowledgement of my request. Why do artists write "DM me for bookings" in their social media posts but ignore their DMs? Why bother using a booking app and not honor those bookings? Everybody wanna be a plug but nobody wanna do the work. Very disappointed. I expected better.

Alonso greeted us at the door and I saw him personally visit other customers while they were getting tattoos. Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 stars I would.Five months ago I went to Zoe’s to get my nipples repierced and both nostrils done. To preface this my nipples have been done two other times by local shops over the past 8 years and each of the previous two times they didn’t heal due to jewelry being too small. The lovely lady(can’t remember her name) took this into account and listened to me when I asked for a longer bar. The entire process was super quick and everyone in the shop was personable and professional. Both nostrils and nipples have healed beautifully and I’ll definitely be going back for future piercings.

Fantastic experience: Alonzo was amazing, I got four piercings in one day he knew I was scared said he was gonna talk me through it but he knew I just wanted to get it over with, and he did just that, but he did it safely. He made sure everything was sterilized. He made sure I like the way my piercings looked and where they were placed I will definitely be going back.

Fantastic experience: Local hidden gem!! Better than I could've asked for! I came in as a small girl wearing a bright pink jumpsuit and no one blinked an eye. Super open-minded and accommodating space. The owner even touched base with me to see how it was going. Salt of the earth people who are experienced in their craft. My artist was Noli, and although he doesn't speak much English, we used a translator app and he followed my instructions EXACTLY. He is a perfectionist and a passionate artist, made clear by how he took the image I gave him and completely brought it to life. An excellent example of art transcending language. I'm glad my business could support the local Louisville community!!

Negative experience: I contacted them to schedule an appointment for a piercing. The first text he answered immediately saying he could fit me in. But when I texted to follow up and get a time there was no response. It’s been 2 days.

Fantastic experience: Got my tragus ear piercing done here by Zoe and he did great. Looks amazing and let me pick which earring I wanted, yet giving great advice. Pricing is fair for the great work and kind environment. I was shaking nervous and it barley hurt and he let me take a break to lay down after to make sure I was alright. Fantastic experience: went in pretty close to closing time with one request: an eyebrow piercing. i sat down for maybe twelve minutes before i was getting it done. super quick & easy but not careless or messy. everything was sanitary and as clean as a doctors office. going back today for my nose hopefully :o)

Positive experience: Love this shop, Zoe does an amazing job he did my tongue and I had a great experience however.. the younger female piercer I think she’s newer she pierced my Medusa crooked :( this is one piercing I wanted for a while so I’m a little disappointed honestly but she was super sweet and professional about everything else and I’m sure she does other piercings just fine but yeah my Medusa is like sideways which sucks but oh well.

Fantastic experience: Very clean shop, I loved the artwork on the walls. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, they asked what I wanted done without an appointment. Alot of places don't take walk ins at all, but I was there maybe 30mins and they got me in and out. Alonzo was the one who pierced me, he was very straight forward and knew what he was doing. He made sure to wash his hands, and put on gloves. Even the other artist there were gloved up with their booths clean. I would def recommend their shop.

Positive experience: I got my first tattoo here by Dakota, I found her on Instagram and through my friend, her work is great so I was really excited but when I got to my appointment which was at 430 I had to wait until 5 or so to get my tattoo and to be honest that didn’t really bother me but just something I noted. Once I got in the chair she asked me what I wanted and came back with the stencil and placed it on my foot, she had me put my foot on her stool to place it and honestly I never thought to check the stencil before hand because I had a reference photo of exactly what I wanted same words same font then seeing it after it was done I was highly disappointed. It wasn’t the same font it was more loopy, and honestly it’s not a bad tattoo it’s just not what I was expecting and I feel like with an additional communication it could’ve been prevented but now I have a tattoo I don’t really like. Overall this jaded my first tattoo experience but I know if I ever get another I will be overly communicative about EXACTLY what I want. I did reach out to see if she could some how change the font to what I wanted the only thing she said she could do was a cover up and unfortunately I don’t want another tattoo, so I’m hoping this one grows on me or I’ll just get it removed.
