Fantastic experience: been coming to this place since i was 19 & everytime has been wonderful service. the staff are always welcoming & friendly, They even give you placement tips every now & then. when i got my nose piercing the piercer looked at my nose & told me the best place to put the piercing, and when i got the one piece jolly roger tattooed on my neck the artist adjusted the placement to where it would be more viewable. definitely 10/10 would recommend. I need to lock in & get a specific tattoo artist & piercer though lol.

Negative experience: Ageless Art has a booking website with hours available for piercing appointments although there is no piercer there to accommodate your request. Enter your credit card information to abide their cancellation policy just to be cancelled on.

Fantastic experience: I went with my daughter when she got her navel pierced. Place was very clean and Elizabeth did a great job explaining everything, including the sterilization process of the jewelry. She freehanded with a needle, which my daughter appreciated because she was worried about the clamp. Daughter said she'd go back there for any future piercings. Pricing was pretty good and variety of jewelry was decent.

Negative experience: The interior is decent probably like three chairs to wait in. No prices on the piercing shelves which is very purposeful. $110 for just the hole in your face itself and another $50 minimum for the piercing jewelry. Went to Apocalypse tattoos for $30 piercing and on the day I went it was only $20. Included a surgical steel gem stud in the price too. I'm sure the owner might comment something about how they use space age materials mined from the moons of Mars And how the environment is so clean that the Virgin Mary herself came back and gave birth a second time there or how the staff is so professionally trained that their ancestors invented the art of piercing, But let's be honest the act of putting a tiny hole in one's face should not be hundreds of dollars I'm sure they do great work but you'll be stuck paying a premium for the hipster atmosphere (just like one of those hipster burger places that charge $50 for a basic burger and fry with the generic industrial interior) except they're in little village I mean obviously someone's paying for it and they're still in business so they're good at what they do and have a great following and I wish them success not that they need my two pesos I'm just a random reviewer y'all. go where you want

Fantastic experience: Bear with me as I am unaccustomed this kind of thing. I recently got a tattoo at the Oak Park location. The shop could use a little TLC. A fresh coat of paint, with a clear style to create a vibe befitting artistic work. Personally, I would love to see murals showcasing the skill of the artists. A more necessary investment is a better chair. I am an older and more substantial ( big) gal and felt that the chair was lacking the strength to hold me especially if I moved. The artist who worked with me was Jonathan Peralta who impressed me. I came in with a design that I was not completely please with, it is a symbolic reminder to me that I really needed. After some discussion he presented me with a design that fit me better especially with the little tweaks he made. He was kind, professional and definitely skilled. I am thrilled with my tattoo and will seek his skills in the future as well as send my husband and other family to Peralta.
