Fantastic experience: A gorgeous gem of a tattoo studio. David was super patient, caring, and passionate about his work and it was a lovely experience! I got quite a fine-line and etailes tattoo, and it turned out beauitfully. Everyone else were also super friendly, really rated the vibes.

Negative experience: The tattoo is good. I love it even though it's not done, however I will not be going back to the same lady to finish it. Ever since I went for a consultation the lady has either, been late, canceled hours even minutes before. (I have to travel far and my partner has to take time off work to look after the kids) not only that but she had massively under quoted me. For both sides of my shoulder together she quoted $800, one side alone (unfinished) is already $950. Love the atmosphere and the tattoo, although if I knew how much time and money this was going to cost me I would have never gone there.

Fantastic experience: Had a big thigh piece from Alex, a lucky tiger claw with amazing colour design. Went back 3 days later for a fine line raven on my shin from David, incredible work. Both guys have “angel hands” - not brutal at all - the pain was minimal. I saw tattoos done by Everybody in the store while I was there and they are all truly expert. The designs, the consultations, the execution. 12/10. Already discussing my next tattoo with them. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I went in to see Decio for a cut, and walked out feeling a million bucks. He made me feel very welcome and comfortable. His attention to detail is fantastic and he works with love and care. I came in with a boring mop that needed the style fixed, and he worked his magic. My new cut is so fun and he also gave me tips on how to style it. I actually first heard about him through a friend of mine who sees him religiously- Mount Maunganui's most talented hairdresser, I will be back!

Negative experience: I had to wait 30 minutes after my booked time for a tattoo. I was told the artist was running late. I was happy to leave and return in another 30 minutes, which I did. I told the receptionist I would be back in 30minutes as this was how long she expected it to take. I returned after 30minutes but no one was manning the desk nor the cafe. I did not want to annoy the hairdresser so waited 5 minutes. After 5 minutes I gave up and left as I was already frustrated it had been an hour. I was told the artist was waiting an hour for me but this was already after the hour I had to wait. I got a call from her but missed it as had to drive back home, 2 hours out of town. I then sent her a message to say I wouldn’t make it back as I had my 13yo daughter with me and she wasn’t feeling well and I didn’t want to have to go back. I put down a deposit of $100 and now cannot get this back only in the form of a voucher. I know this is their policy but it is extremely frustrating when you are looking forward to receive a tattoo, especially after being on a wait list then only to … 1. Not get it due to delays in service 2. Only get your money back in the form of a voucher for the hair salon or cafe. $100 is a lot of money these days and especially as a single parent. Policies like this need to have special considerations.

Negative experience: Booked our daughter to have her earrings pierced. They didn’t do it. It is part of our culture to do this quite early and I mentioned when making the booking. Our appointment was for 10am and at 10:40 they told us they wouldn’t do. The review is not because they didn’t do the job, but because they made the booking knowing what we wanted, we paid a deposit and then made us wait 40min there to let us know they wouldn’t do. It seems the person making the bookings don’t know what services they offer and there was no clear communication on the day between them as we waited 40min there for nothing.

Fantastic experience: Rosa transformed my lifeless, damaged hair into a chic style with highlights to match. Finally found my forever hairdresser. Love the vibe at this salon.

Fantastic experience: Camille did my tattoo on my shoulder, she was such a lovely and kind person. Was very patient and made sure I was completely happy with my design before she did it. She is most definitely recommended for tattoos. Overall 10/10

Negative experience: Didn't like that i paid $200+ to get half head of foils, asked for blonde & When it came out, there was only 5 small lines of it. My hair still smelt like Poroxide like it hadn't been washed properly and the end result was disappointing for what I paid! The worse hair dressers I've been to. & Even though it was a long time ago, I would never go back. The only good part was when they straightened my hair.
