Fantastic experience: Vivien is so much more than a tattoo artist. She took my ideas and suggestions, created a spectacular piece bespoke to me and has made me very happy. Due to its size, it needs to be done over two sessions, but Vivien was patient with me, allowing me breaks when required and even sang along with me to the songs on her playlist which was actually very good!! Will recommend to everyone I speak with X

Fantastic experience: Just finished my cover up with Vivien, and it’s unreal. This was a complete cover-up of old, regrettable tribal tattoo that I’d hated for years. Vivien nailed it, designed a bold, flowing piece that totally hides the past with dense shading and perfect composition. No trace of the old tattoo, even up close or in different lighting. The flow around the elbow, shoulder and forearm is flawless, healing at each stage was easy, and it looks like it was always meant to be there. Turned embarrassment into my favorite art. If you need old ink gone, book in with her, she's a cover-up master. Worth every penny and hour in the chair! see you again soon

Not only did she listen to what I wanted, but she also gave me amazing suggestions to make the design even better. Fantastic experience: Folks what can I say !! Vivian’s Studio is one of the cleanest interesting places I have ever been worked on in my life . I’ve always felt relaxed and welcomed there . And most importantly left happy with the work done I got my first tattoo some 50 years ago and have had many since !! Several in Aberdeen but can honestly say Vivian has got a special talent when it comes to art work and when consulting with her she’s honest and will give you good advice about designs . I have now had my 4 th session at her studio and have book my 5th therefor can endorse her as a first class professional with high standards of work and very reasonably priced

Negative experience: do not go near this shop went in for a tattoo and it lasted a week and all fell out, just left with some scarred smudges on my fingers that now I have to get fixed by somewhere else . avoid at all cost go somewhere else as its no wonder they always have spaces

Fantastic experience: I completed the advanced tattoo course with Viv. It was an incredible experience, not only did I learn so much but I also had so much fun with her. She is incredibly knowledgeable about tattooing and very patient with the student. I have learned so much over the time of the course and now feel very confident to continue my career in tattooing - absolutely would recommend if you’re considering the course do it, you won’t regret it. Viv provided the models for me to complete my tattoos on, and the amount of returning clients she has is commendable and truly shows off her talent. I’ve had a great time!

Fantastic experience: I seen a cover up on a Facebook post which Vivien had done and was very impressed. I was looking to hopefully get my tattoo covered as I really didn't like it. I made an appointment to see her in studio. She asked if I had any ideas that I would like but I really had no clue. She set to work and gave me a couple of options which would work to cover my tattoo. She not only designed a cover-up bit a whole sleeve. After the 1st sitting I honestly couldn't believe what she had done. Her work is nothing short of amazing. I've had 2 sittings and having 3rd in next couple of days. Very excited to see the end result which I can't wait to show with pride. If you are considering a tattoo then I would highly recommend Vivien at Aberdeentattoo. You will not be disappointed.

Her tattoo skills are excellent and she used quality derm wrap for aftercare. I love the tattoo. She created the design from an idea in my head and she hit the brief perfectly. Fantastic experience: I just finished the 7 day tattoo course at Vivian Tattoo Studio in Aberdeen. First thing that I noticed when walking into the studio is the cleanliness, Vivian takes great pride in everything that she’s does and she believes in:” if you can’t get the little things right, you can’t get the bigger things right”. The course has been a absolute blast, Vivian makes it fun to learn with a great sense of humour and makes sure that you understand everything as you go along, even when I struggled she would explain things in a different way so that I grasp everything before moving on. Enough time is set aside for exercises and if more time is needed to practice, Vivian is more than happy to stay after hours to get extra practise in. It’s not like a normal course where the instructor knocks it on the door at 17:00hrs and put tools down. She is very passionate about tattooing and that radiates of her and it makes you want to learn more. Last two days of the course you get to tattoo two live models, to put all your skills to test. To be honest I’m still a beginner but I’m extremely happy with my results. I would hardly recommend this course for anyone that is interested in starting a career in tattooing, Vivian is the person you need to help you lay the foundations.

Fantastic experience: I have visited Vivien Gior more than once and each time she continues to be professional yet funny, well humoured, kind and artistically driven. The second appointment I had here was for a touch up tattoo - it was very quickly completed - and some other tattoos have been designed for me and are taking 2/3 full day appointments to complete. V's studio is exceptionally clean and she offers me to take breaks throughout each session. Overall her reply on email/Instagram is always fast and it is always easy to communicate with her despite English not being her first language. I would highly recommend Vivien to anyone looking for an unknown but establishing tattoo artist in Scotland. I am lucky to have her studio in my hometown. I'll be returning very soon, without a doubt!!
