Fantastic experience: I’ve not got enough words to say on Sailor max tattoo parlour, soon as I walked through there doors I was made to feel welcome by all members of the crew, soon as I arrived Anchor up and work was set about to do my cover up, Captain (Paul) and vice captain ( Ivan) transformed my cover up into a piece of Art I could only have wished for , I let them have free rain of my Arm with the design I had in mind and I’m glad as they added there own unique perspective and character to it, I wish the captain a very happy adventure and hope he gets to sail into the sunset but does return from time to time to leave his mark on those very special people he chooses to design for, i hope Paul keeps Ivan on his toes always questioning and making him see different ways to make things better , Ivan will be a great Captain once he is giving control of the wheel as they have both certainly giving me a new lease of life, so If your lucky enough to be worked on by these two great people then I recommend you go with the flow have your design and if it needs tweaked then let it be. Negative experience: Disappointed as I couldn’t get my original idea, after speaking about it on chat. As I already paid the non-refundable £50 -I decided to get the outline of a rectangle box, and I got charged another £50, for having 4 lines on my wrist I think £100 was a bit extortionate. Don’t get me wrong was so friendly and a really nice place but I’m not happy with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: I have left a lot of reviews in businesses, but this one tops the charts for me......Really friendly bunch, so easy to speak to, brilliant aftercare plan, some of the best work I have seen and at a fair price, if I could give this place 6 stars I would, the tattoo work on my arm was a masterclass so went back 3 days later to get my half sleeve finished. I will be back in the near future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! AWESOME!

Fantastic experience: I got a tattoo of my three rats that passed away this year and it was one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve ever had. Fraser is incredibly talented and designed my tattoo just the way I wanted. We collaborated on details like shading and markings and the rats look just like my three boys. When it came to the service itself, I was getting it done in a pretty painful place, and even so, there was minimal pain and discomfort. He was very professional and easy to talk to, I never felt wrong for asking to take a break. The price point is also very good for the quality of the tattoo. Overall, absolutely 10/10 and I will be back again for more tattoos.

Negative experience: After seeing a TikTok I was horrified to find out I have a stolen design when I asked for a custom. Having to go to another studio to get elements changed if I wanted someone else’s design I would of bought a sticker

Fantastic experience: I went to see Jaz after not the best experience getting my piercing done in a different studio. (I have to say that I never write reviews, in fact this is my first one but I just had to). Jaz really listened to me and totally understood my needs and I never felt she tried to convince me or rush me to sort me out. She did everything she could to help me with my problem and I couldn't be happier with the result. I highly recommend this girl and the place felt quite nice too. I definitely will be back to upgrade or change my jewellery.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience, made a late booking Today and all the staff were so kind and welcoming , The women that did my piercing was so upbeat and kind will definitely be back for a bigger stud and tattoo. I would also like to add they stuck to Covid 19 guidelines.

Fantastic experience: I had two individual rib pieces done here by Sarah. Very friendly, chatty and professional! She didn't make me feel pressured at all by asking for changes with my design layouts/positioning. She has a very caring attitude aswell as I got a bit emotional during one of my tattoos due to the reasoning of why I wanted that particular tattoo and quickly got me chatting and laughing which helped get through the pain. Being rib pieces I had to be quite exposed throughout and she was very professional about this but also made sure my dignity was maintained by making sure screens were in place and secured and not accidentally opening/falling over. She genuinely cares about her work and pays very good attention to detail of her tattoos aswell as practicing good hygiene and adhered well to safety measures and precautions in place due to Covid-19. I felt the price I paid was also very fair and reasonable for her skills and artwork! She gave me verbal and written instructions on how to look after my tattoos too. She does have a bit of a waiting list for weekend slots, but I can see why!! Sarah is worth the wait! Thanks again Sarah.

Fantastic experience: Had multiple tattoos by Sean who is always so accommodating to my requests and alwaysleaves me so confident and happy with my tattoos. Same with Ker. Nathan has also done some of my piercings which have healed perfectly and he is always keen to kit you out with quirky jewellery. The whole shop are fab!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a Daith piercing which is my first piercing in over 10 years. I am a huge wimp when it comes to needles however from the second I walked in the door I was put at ease. Nathan has a great attitude, very friendly and calming. There is a couple more piercings I am looking for so will definitely return soon. Would highly recommend especially to nervous/anxious people.

Fantastic experience: All ten of my piercings were done at Sailor Max and I’ve never had a problem with a single one. Nathan has done all of my piercings and fair handful of my friends and never fails to make a client feel in safe hands. From allowing clients to see if they are pleased with placement, to checking anatomically if a piercing will heal correctly. I cannot fault any experience I have had with not only Nathan but the rest of the staff too, always guaranteed a warm welcome and a comfy seat while you wait, that is if there is a wait as the walk in piercings function so flawlessly for the parlour. The whole shop is incredibly clean and sterile so it’s always a relief to know that the owners genuinely care about their customer service. Excellent piercer, excellent artists all with amazing social media presence. I couldn’t fault Sailor Max if I tried and I 100% recommend to family, friends or anybody looking to get a banging tattoo or piercing :))

Fantastic experience: Went there 2 years ago during a staff trip back when I was still working at a pub in the Netherlands. Out boss took us too Aberdeen to visit the Brewdog brewery. The day before we left Scotland we decided to get a tattoo. Nathan was the only one in the shop tattooing all 4 of us and after that he invited us to a bar to have a beer. Such a great guy! Love to go back sometime to get some more work done!
