Fantastic experience: What a lovely team these lot are. Always get my tattoos done by Georgie and have since I’ve been 18. I’m traditional style and she always delivers exactly what I’ve pictured in my head. If you’re looking for a lovely experience for your first tattoo or to sort out some older dated pieces, this is the place to be!!

Fantastic experience: It was a privilege to have my first tattoos done by Georgie. She recommended starting with a smaller piece on my upper chest, which was the perfect way to ease into the experience. The result was exactly what I’d hoped for, and it gave me the confidence to go straight into a full-day session for the tribal bird design on my back. I even brought an iPad and headphones - but didn’t use them once. We chatted for eight hours straight! This was so much more than just getting a tattoo; it was a genuinely memorable experience. A huge thank you to Georgie and Laura for making the whole day so enjoyable and meaningful. Georgie’s awards are clearly well deserved - her work is incredible and she’s the consummate professional. She’s not only an exceptionally talented artist but also a genuinely lovely and super interesting person. The booking process was also incredibly smooth, and before and after communication was excellent throughout. Laura responded to my emails quickly at all hours - even while they were abroad at a convention. I’ll definitely be booking my next tattoo with Georgie soon.

Fantastic experience: I was a First timer tattoo and I was keen to find someone who understood that. They offered me a number of dates and even advised to wait until after my holiday as I would be swimming. Lin did my tattoo, she was great. Explained everything that would happen and made sure i was at ease throughout. My tattoo is absolutely perfect, she checked as it went along that i was happy, the studio is SPOTLESS! Lin gave me all the advice on looking after my tattoo and was happy to offer any further advice at any time. Im totally in love with my tattoo and would happily visit again ( even though i have always been adamant i would only have 1 ) ...Im already looking at designs for another. Thank you Lin.

Fantastic experience: Was my first time going and defo coming back again! Georgie Done my tattoo and they were so friendly and comforting. Fantastic experience: I've had a couple tattoos at this shop now (all done by Georgie) and I couldn't recommend this place and the artist enough! From start to finish Georgie was amazing and i am so so happy with the results! I will 100% be back for more hopefully in the near future!!

Negative experience: Got a tattoo here April 2023. Since Dec 2023 I have spent hundreds of pounds getting it removed. I think I could have done a better job myself. See pic for context.

Fantastic experience: New Ink In Absolute Ink! This summer I committed to my first tattoo piece at Absolute Ink Tattooists. I decided I wanted to go ahead with the same tattoo artist as my future fiancé as I wanted us to have the same artwork on both of us so we are bound together, forever ❤️. I met with Lyn back in July this year and below is the first edition of how the finished design turned out. I was over the moon with the end results but decided I wanted an alteration just to add off the desirable finishing touches. Lyn was only too happy to do so for me. I wanted to post this so that everybody else can see how overwhelmed I am with the end results and I couldn't recommend a better tattoo company to book up with! You will see below from left to right the first two shots being from July and last couple are from November the other week. For me, I prefer how it came out out 2nd time round but I was equally happy with how it turned out previously. Absolute Ink go above and beyond like no other for all customers and booking here you will be amazed with the end results! Thanks Lyn and co! Xx

Negative experience: overall botched tattoo job which makes me question the skill set in this shop and has quite literally made me also feel uncomfortable by certain inappropriate comments about what I was wearing. This is unprofessional and completely inappropriate.

Fantastic experience: I have had 2 tattoos from Georgie @ absolute ink , the first one was a scroll in memory of a loved one and she did an amazing job on that . My second one was a pride flag on my leg which was a tricky first colour tattoo , it took a second round of touching up which lasted a few sessions but after that and all the aftercare and guidance from yourself and lin about how to care it came out amazing. I would like to give you more that 5 stars because this is a amazing tattoo place can’t wait to get more .

Negative experience: Tried to make an appointment.after about 5 emails requesting size and design. 2 week's ago. Nothing ! My dogs ashes still in envelope. How insensitive to be ignored

Negative experience: Don’t get tattooed by these people. I came to this tattoo shop a couple of months ago to get back/spine tattoo and not even been six months & having to get it fixed and I don’t mean touch up when I say that the alignment is off(so not even on the spine) ,line work looks like a child done it, shading or the attempt to do it was horrendous and overall botched tattoo job which makes me question the skill set in this shop and has quite literally made me cry cause of this monstrosity I have to walk around with till I can have it fixed. I would also like to note I have also shown this tattoo to other shops and independent artists and the words are a lot harsher than mine about this so don’t no t go in here you’ll end up paying double of what you paid to have it covered up or removed

Fantastic experience: Love my tattoo and piercings! Got the tatt done on a Thursday and the piercings the next day as there was a Halloween promo. The tattoo has healed amazingly, barely got any scabbing in comparison to my others and get so many compliments - definitely go here! The piercings (nose x2 and daith) are healing very well too, I’ve been pierced about 10 times and only 1 survived, but there’s barely any bumps, pain or other with these because of the aftercare they recommend (not the usual saltwater). Had I done this all along, maybe my others wouldn’t have closed up, but I suppose time will tell. I’d also been told by other piercers that it’s not possible to pierce my daith, but the lovely lady made it happen

Negative experience: My friend got a simple, tiny tattoo here and they messed it up, making it uneven on one side and when she questioned it, they just said it was swollen. She went back to get it fixed after 2 and a half weeks and they denied that it was uneven and claimed she hadn't cleaned it properly so they couldn't fix it. Then to top it all off, when my friend said she didn't want the same person who tattooed her to fix it in case she made it more uneven, a staff member swore at her! Unbelievably horrific customer service. She paid for a tattoo and they had one job to give her what she wants, of course she's allowed to question the professional nature of the artist if such a simple design was messed up.

Negative experience: Bad attitude from word go, acting like it was a problem to print my design and INCREDIBLY slow. Walked out in the end. Edit: Was only one other person in the studio. Had my tat done the next day at a different studio. Patient, adjusted my design 3 times until we we were happy with it. No face pulling, eye rolling or anything similar. Really good experience.

Negative experience: I went there a couple days ago to get my nipples pierced. Reasonable price, but bad service. Very friendly piercer, but she messed up one of my piercings and just didn't tell me, as if I wouldn't notice. On my left nipple, she fully pierced through my areola, NOT my nipple, NOT where she marked with pen. I am certain she knew, as she didn't show me in the mirror, she just immediately covered it with gauze and moved on to the next nipple. I took the gauze off at home, looked at them for the first time, and immediately went back after I was told they'd fix it for me. I arrive, get it fixed, but did not even get a SINGLE apology, just "it happens sometimes". I was going to ask for a refund for that nipple considering what had happened, but I didn't raise a fuss as the woman was literally about to shove a needle through my nipple, and she had already messed it up once. Any other place would have offered a refund, this place did not even offer me an apology. This doesn't "just happen sometimes", it was a mistake on her part and I did not even get an apology. That same piercer also pierced my friend's nose on both sides, and they are wonky. She got a tattoo done there by a different lady, which came out well. So, think twice about going here for piercings. I will definitely go to my usual next time, even if there's a wait to get an appointment. Tattoos seem good.

They give you a card to remind you how to care for it afterwards and are happy to offer advise. Would definitively recommend going here for a tattoo. (They also do piercings but I didn't get one)

Fantastic experience: Can't fault this place, had my first tattoo there a few weeks ago and they made me feel so at ease. I was able to see where the tattoo would be by putting the template on first and Lin even allowed me to move it twice so it was exactly where I pictured it. It's perfect. I will not hesitate to go back.

Fantastic experience: Open on a Sunday was ideal for me. I had a nose ring done today by needle. I was given a chance to see where the ring would go by it being market with a pen. Excellent service at a reasonable price. Hopefully this heals up nicely!
