Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo from Grish last Friday. He made the whole experience really easy, sitting down with me before the session to not only talk designs but placement as well. The tattoo idea was very personal to me, but handled amazingly well by Grish, also helped by the other team in the studio creating a really relaxing and cool environment. Couldn’t be happier with the final result and will definatly be back soon.

Fantastic experience: Had 2 pieces done by Grish recently and I am really happy with the results. I had two ideas for pieces that hold a lot of meaning to family members; a wine glass and a hot air balloon. My biggest fear beforehand was getting the size and placement right, as I am filling in patchwork on my leg. Grish worked with me to really capture the designs in the most meaningful way possible, and then at the studio beforehand to decide the best possible placement for both. Absolutely love the finished result and really appreciated Grish’s patience with the whole process. Great aftercare advice too. Everyone in the studio was super nice and friendly. They are even better than I anticipated and the price was more than fair for the time and incredible artwork. Will definitely be returning. Thanks again Grish!

Fantastic experience: I had my second tattoo done with the wonderful Frank back in July of a vintage-style Sun on my forearm. The detail she achieved was incredible and it has healed so beautifully. She is so talented and for her skill level I would expect to have paid higher. My whole experience was so calm and enjoyable. Fantastic experience: My first tattoo! I'll keep it shortish: After contacting Long Story Short with a pic of my desired design, Jordan Wheeler got back to me. She was very enthusiastic about the design and went out of her way to make it more personal to myself, offering both advice and accepting of my feedback. Skip to the day and while there in person we talked through it, changed a few bits then and there before I was ready to go. Jordan was incredibly professional and supportive, clearly showing their love of the craft. I can't express how happy I am with the finished piece, my mind already racing at future designs. Wholeheartedly recommend Long Story Short as a studio, and Jordan Wheeler as your potential tattooist.

Fantastic experience: I've just had my 3rd amazing tattoo with the talented Jordan Skye at Long Story Short. Jordan took my sketchy mock up idea and created a masterpiece, her crisp lines and use of colour are out of this world! It was a full day session, so quite a slog at times, but Jordan took such great care of me (noticing when I was flagging, chatting when I needed it, but also cool with me donning my headphones and zoning out too) that we managed to finish my whole thigh in one sitting. It was a hot summer's day but the spotlessly clean studio was cool and comfy and the team are all so friendly. Before coming to Long Story Short I had in my head that tattoo studios might be intimidating spaces, but this welcoming space is the polar opposite. I actually live 2hrs away but won't go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Picked up the most incredible Mandalorian tattoo from John recently. Check it out for yourself at Longjohntattoos on instagram! It was such a creative and funny idea from his flash, and yet it still boasts a staggering amount of attention to detail. This is the second piece I've picked up from John, and it definitely won't be the last! He creates such a relaxed and informal environment for your time there, without compromising on the slightest shred of professionalism. And of course his comedy, whether his jokes be high brow or low brow, continues to provide unparalleled levels of entertainment during however many hours your tattoo may take.

Loved all the design / photos on the wall. The are where the tattoo are done is also very clean and tidy. John was brilliant from when i first messaged letting him know what I wanted and was really accommodating when I needed to change the date! On the day he was so friendly and chatting and really made it feel chilled out while he was tattooing. The tattoos have come out great and will definitely be coming back to John for more!

Fantastic experience: I have recently had a "3 wise monkeys" tattoo completed at Long Story Short, by Zack Farley, sitting for around 7 hours per day for 3 days in total. I felt relaxed the whole time. There is a calm and peaceful ambience at this tattoo lounge, I will likely return at some point as many others do.

Fantastic experience: Booked in 1 month prior to getting a tattoo done with John, and from the get go he was very happy to discuss anything regarding design and styles and very suggestive to ideas to help bring it to life! Finally the day came to get my tattoo done and from the moment I walked in the door he was very friendly and easily approachable he went in to full details about what the plan was for the piece and how the day would go, offered drinks and made to feel very welcome! I’ve been for many tattoos and tbh some just want you on the chair do the work and want you gone, John made lots of effort ensuring the stencil was applied perfectly and placed in a position that we both agreed looked mega! John had even took the time to draw the stencil free hand! I’ve had other tattoos with writing and it looks nothing like this one! Overall good amount of hours out into this! And the attention to detail is second to none! Can’t find a single thing to complain about! Had lots of banter and conversation while getting worked on which for me goes a long way! 10/10 would recommend and I will be discussing more work with John in the future! And for anyone with concerns the studio was clean, tidy and very well presented!

Fantastic experience: Had a VERY last minute tattoo with John and it was probably the best session I’ve had. John was happy to sit and re work the tattoo until we were both completely happy with the placement, chatted about different options to expand on the tattoo in the future, and checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout. Will definitely be going to John for future tatt’s. The studio is so sleek and clean it gives a nice professional edge, different to all other studios I’ve been in.

Fantastic experience: Worked with Grish to fill a last minute spot and I couldn’t be happier. Sent over a few ideas on what I was looking for, and had time to review them prior to committing it tattooed! All ideas were great, however settled on one of his flash pieces which caught my eye. Overall the tattooing was great, and exactly as I would expect out of a parlour of this calibre. The studio is very clean, light and professional which adds to the tattooing process. Felt very much in capable hands the hole time. If someone was looking for a micro realism piece I would definitively point them in the direction of Grish, or Long story short in general to see if an artist can help them with their needs.

Would definitely recommend, plus they are incredibly friendly and communicative. 06/01/2025: I'd been wanting to get a few more tattoos for awhile now and had a few ideas of what to get. The first person that came to mind was Grish, as he had done a great job for me before. I struggled to bring my ideas to life, but after a few messages with Grish and a short consultation, he managed to understand what it was I wanted and even improved on them with his own touch and style - as long as I was happy with it - and it turned out great. Grish is a perfectionist and may appear as though he takes his time. He does it because he can see the finer details that we may not be able to see and wants to ensure that we are completely happy with our ideas being brought to life - which is a talent on its own. If you have budgeting issues, he will always try to accommodate for your individual limits with the best of his abilities. I cannot recommend him and studio enough if you want someone who will truly try to understand you and will put in 100% time and effort to ensure you are happy when you walk out of that studio.

Fantastic experience: Excellent parlour, bright, clean and staff were very welcoming. I can’t recommend Zack enough! He was attentive throughout the entire process, and was really easy to communicate / run through design options with. He was able to match a style I was after that differed from his typical style. His warm and considerate approach put me at ease, settling nerves and making my first tattoo experience memorable. The piece he created is personal to me, and his attention to detail made it even more meaningful. If you’re looking for an artist who genuinely listens and delivers great work, I'd recommend booking in with him!

Fantastic experience: Zack the artist did this piece for me. Exactly how I expected it to be. Guided me through all the steps he was doing throughout. Very professional. When he noticed I was getting sore he gave me more breaks so it wasn’t constant work. Best decision I made to go to Zack. I would highly recommend. A true pro for his artwork.

Fantastic experience: I came to the studio to be tattooed by Zack, he made me feel super comfortable and was a great laugh. He didn’t mind stopping for breaks, he was super accommodating and professional. The studio was warm and clean. I’m extremely pleased with the end result of my tattoo, better than I had hoped for. Fantastic experience: I went to Ben with an idea of a back piece to keep adding to over time. His design was awesome, he incorporated all my ideas creatively and professionally. Importantly he's great to talk to which made being in the chair for a while alot more comfortable. But most of all he's amazing at what he does and I am really happy with the way the tattoo has turned out and will be returning soon for more! The rest of his team is also really friendly. I would recommend long story short to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Went to Zack to start my leg sleeve and he was brilliant. He added his own twist to the design I had taken to him which makes it really unique and cool. I really love the finished realism design and am already making plans to go back to add to the sleeve.

Been going to Zack for years at other studios, and as always he did an amazing job with the design, placement and execution of the tattoo!
