The attention to detail in their work is incredible, you can really see the skill, care, and passion behind every piece they create. Their awards are well‑earned and it shows in the quality of their artistry. The atmosphere in the studio is amazing too: welcoming, calm, and full of good energy. You feel looked after the entire time, and their customer care is genuinely fantastic. They listen, they guide, and they make sure you’re completely comfortable and confident with your design. I couldn’t recommend Mixture Studios more highly. A truly top‑tier experience.

Fantastic experience: My first tattoo at mixture, traveled from York to get work done by Patrick and cannot stress enough how pleasant the experience was everyone who worked there spoke to you like they'd know you for years and made every effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable, not to mention the insane amount of artistic talent in the building 10/10 thanks all I'll see you again!

Fantastic experience: Came with my sister for a spine tattoo and had a lovely experience with Cassie. She did an amazing job in designing our tattoos, I love it so much. Also made us feel very welcomed and comfortable during the whole process. Would definitely recommend this studio, lovely people and fun environment.

Fantastic experience: Me and my daughter came in to get inked. From walking in we were made to feel really relaxed. The attitude of the staff is 1st class and a great laugh. Even if I did last play on a game station 50 years ago!!!! Already planning on more work.

Fantastic experience: Had my second tattoo from skezy @mixture tatto studio First was a matching tattoo with my bestie and second was a watercolour tattoo that I’m totally obsessed with The stupid has such a vibe and all the other Clients in at the same time as me brought the same engross my day pretty much fly by. I sent in a dragon before my appt and we spent some time in the morning finish my the design but checking placement Once I was completely happy, the ink began! Can’t fault anything about my tattoo or the experience

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this studio for Jakub for well over 6 years now, it’s always such a friendly atmosphere here. Everyone that works here is so nice and we always have a laugh. Jakub is such a gentle yet quick tattooist, he’s very chilled and friendly, makes you feel very relaxed even though you’re usually in pain with the tattooing lol. His designs and attention to detail with his work are incredible, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo by Patrick at Mixture and the whole experience was brilliant. The atmosphere in the shop is really welcoming and from the minute you walk in the door all the artists and clients were friendly and inclusive. Patrick was brilliant, he did an amazing job but was also incredibly responsive to me and gave breaks as the day wore on and the discomfort increased. Highly recommend both Patrick and Mixture.

Fantastic experience: I have alot of tattoos and I've traveled all over the country. But the tattoo and experience that I had with Patrick was the best. So professional, warm, polite, couldn't do more for you. Puts you at ease. His work was also incredible, such talent but also really kind and humble. It was clear listening to him and the other artists in the shop that they care deeply about their craft and they are not resting on their laurels. Talking about techniques, artists work and competitions they are all consistently striving to be better ever day. They are absolutely worth the money and they gave me my favorite tattoo I ever had. I could not recommend them highly enough. Healing wise it actually healed quicker and more gently than any other tattoo I've had. Absolutely blown away and will not be going anywhere else. Fantastic experience: I visited Padda at mixture and the tattoo he did for me is one of my favourites! I don’t have many black work tattoos as I usually go for colour but we did just black work and I’m so obsessed! Padda put up with my indecision on trying to come up with an idea and was so patient. The studio has good energy & is super clean! Cant wait for my next tattoo! We’ve already got the concept rolling this time

Fantastic experience: Been meaning to write a review for ages, I have seen Josh a number of times at Mixture and he is always spot on. He has reworked 3 of my old tattoos I have and made me not hate looking at them anymore, he has also designed 3 Custom tattoos for me and I always get compliments on them and asked where I got the tattoos from. The studio is clean and welcoming and staff are all friendly. Josh is an amazing artist and I would highly recommend him.

Negative experience: After piercing few weeks later I kept going back and was told what days piercer wd be in kept going in but she was never there. Five weeks later I eventually caught her ti bevtold my piercing looked bad to govto drs to get then to remove it and goodbye basically ( at the start of a pandemic were everything was closed) . Wouldn't ever go back again I've had 10 piercings at urban piercing never a problem was trying to save £10 !!!!!!!! Stupid me

Fantastic experience: It’s not often I get around to writing reviews, but I had to with regards to this Tattoo Parlour. Jakub assorted with my design he put his own twist on it as well and it has left a brilliant piece of art on my arm. He kept working on the design until I was happy and the results are incredible. He is sponsored by a very reputable ink company and his work backs this up. Easily the best artist in Reading, and I’m so glad I found him! As for the studio very clean and bright and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I look forward to getting it finished!
