Negative experience: Where do I start? Unprofessional , drunk , disorganised ! Lack of hygiene standards , and if you like those kinds of “artwork” feel free to choose whatever you like but as a tattooer . at that level I’ve seen novices do way better!! Horrific “artworks” , even worste when they heal

Fantastic experience: Had a dodgy experience in Turkey, in which the tattoo was fading within a couple of weeks, have previously had a tattoo done by Steve about 7 years ago which was quality so contacted him to see if there was anything he could do. Went in saw him was more than happy to help, really warm and friendly guy offered me drinks, sweets and gave me the TV control also. Would highly recommend him, to anyone will certainly be going back in the future. Would say take a trip into Caversham rather than Oxford Road, you won't regret it at all.

Fantastic experience: I got a tattoo a couples weeks ago by Steve. I was a bit nervous because I didn’t book an appointment and was prepared to be turned away. I was pleasantly surprised. Steve made me feel completely at ease, printed the stencil out a few times to ensure I was completely satisfied with it and was happy to do it same day. We chatted the whole appointment and he even went over one I got a couple years ago because it was a bit faded and added to it also. It been healing really well and would 100% recommend coming here. I will definitely be back if I want more work done!!!

Fantastic experience: Not my first experience here but my first review, Steve is such a patient and nice person a pleasure to be tattooed by. I came in on my birthday and asked for a small tattoo to be added to a previous one and not only did he do it perfectly he went over the old one aswell just to tidy it up, this took a lot of time as he quite rightly wanted it perfect. And it’s a beautiful job I’ll be back again so thank you Steve!

Fantastic experience: I went with my friends to get piercings done today. I got a belly button piercing, was quite nervous but the staff were very helpful and kind. The place was very well decorated with lots of ideas for inspiration, all tools used were new and sanitised. Would recommend coming here

Negative experience: Me and my husband went in there 1 day we both wanted a tattoo on our arms with our childrens names on our arms. Went in took 10 mins for someone to come out and see us. They couldn't do it. We were told you can come back tomorrow. The bloke he wasn't very helpful it felt like he didn't care about losing customers. I've got 3 tattoos on me all was done on the same day. Two from Ian's tattoos and the other 1 from Harris arcade. They were very helpful and we got our tattoos on the same day. Very helpful staff and so happy with my new tattoo. Will use Harris arcade in the future. Can't remember the name of it.

Negative experience: Wouldn't take a booking over the phone the other day so my son came over from Wallingford today to go in himself to book and the shop was closed - it says on the website open till 7pm and we went at 4.20!! Left a msg on the answer phone and no-one bothered to come back to us and I took the afternoon off for nothing! Not happy at all!

Negative experience: I just called the store to ask about a piercing I'm wanting as it wasn't on their website. All I got was a very bored uninterested response of them not knowing what piercing it was and that they couldn't fit me in today or tomorrow then went on to say it's just a walk in for piercings and didn't even suggest other times they were free and would likely have space. I know very nit picky but I won't be going there after that single phone call.

Fantastic experience: Stephen is a brilliant artist and tattooist, had a skull and rose tattoo done last weekend, Stephen spent time drawing it up with me and picking what would go best on my arm. I have had some amazing comments this week about how awesome the design and tattoo work is, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Top bloke we had a great laugh all day, Highly recommend Stephen to anyone for increadable tattoos in Reading.
