Fantastic experience: Been coming to Glenn for over 10 years and would not trust ANYONE else to tattoo me. Best artist around. Starting a new leg sleeve and its turning out better than i had ever imagined. The way he will flow and place that art to your body is another level. Jessica is amazing, made me feel so comfortable during the long session and met his beautiful daughter Ellie too. Fantastic experience: So I'm a fat 55 year old dad and never imagined I'd be cool enough for a tattoo, in fact I would scurry past tattoo parlours always feeling a bit embarrassed for some reason. I got my first ink yesterday. I'm getting a full sleeve (shoulder to sleeve). Glenn and Jessica were amazing, patient and so welcoming! They walked me through the whole process, explained what works and why and how to get my thoughts on skin. Getting a custom pieces of art work crafted on one's body is not a small undertaking and Glenn is a fantastic artist, this season was a 6 HR session. Both of them were fantastic... I'm now hooked and want more lol!

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend top gun tattoo to anyone! I got my first tattoo done 2 weeks ago here and i must say, i was extremely impressed with everything that happened. The talk about the design, placement, sizing of the tattoo to the aftercare + products to use. You can tell as soon as you walked in that the staff care a lot about their work and an overall great atmosphere the whole time there. Will 10000% be back for more!!

Negative experience: Came here around a year ago. Very accommodating people. Very helpful and lovely. Just really upset my tattoo faded. They said they would fix it, booked a day off work to come in as I’m not from reading and they cancelled on me the night before (late). They said to re book in but I can’t risk losing that amount of money again off work to fix a tattoo. I now walk around with a very very faded tattoo :(

Fantastic experience: I travelled down from Cumbria to be tattooed by Glenn and wasn't disappointed. I had two six hour sessions with Glenn in the week running up to Xmas and I can honestly say what a brilliant experience I had. Firstly both Jennifer and Glenn are very professional, I have high standards and I expect the same. Top Gun studio is clean and tidy with many awards to look at. I wanted a geometric sleeve and had a few ideas but wanted Glenn to put his stamp on it. I pointed out a specific shape I had in mind and Glenn made that the focal point, you can tell he listens to his customer. On the top of my arm is a bad 90s tribal that is being covered up, so the next session we'll be finishing the colour/saturation. The booking system is straight forward and hassle free. I'm looking forward to many more tattoos at Top Gun Tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Had my 1st tattoo with Amit today. I came in with a design/name (in Hindi) and he immediately started to draw a draft which was just amazing! I'm not going to lie, for me it did hurt slightly but after the outline was done it got so much better. We had similar interest in a certain destination, so due to the conversation flowing, the time passed quickly. After it was done he explained the aftercare and how important it is to look after your new tattoo-do's & dont's and a I purchased a small balm to apply with the instructions to follow. I'm so happy I chose this place, clean, friendly and relaxed. Would definitely recommend

The artists are always really professional and clean and are eager to give you a great tattoo. It was quiet, so they happily gave me a seat to sit and wait whilst my partner got their tattoo and vice versa. Will 100% be going back :)

Negative experience: Was not told that they had changed my artist until the day I arrived. The tattoo done by the new artist was good, however I would have appreciated just a little transparency in regards to my booking.

He's got a keen eye for detail and precision, and my tattoo has turned out far better than I could've imagined. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Top Gun, well worth a visit, the staff are all helpful, friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: I got a tattoo from Zack and he was absolutely amazing! He was very professional and did an absolutely amazing job. This tattoo was a tribute to my Grandad who passed away in February and Zack managed to capture every line and small detail in my Grandad's handwriting! I couldn't recommend Top Gun higher! (This was also my first tattoo and he was very gentle and helped helped settle my nerves very well)

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Top Gun Tattooing enough, especially Zack Farley. He totally understands my personal backstory and my love of Japanese Irezumi. I love my back piece which he did this evening, and which will go on to form a phenomenal full sleeve. The studio is spotless, the environment totally Covid safe and the staff have the utmost professionalism. I'm really looking forward to having more ink done by Zack; he's a super skilled and talented chap with a fantastic knowledge of Japanese storytelling through imagery.

Fantastic experience: Glenn is a fantastic artist after speaking with him for 5 minutes you're on his level which is giving the customer what they need as opposed to what they want you could interrupt this as him trying to make more money, but he's giving me 3 free laser sessions on my chest near my throat before we continue with my throat piece

Negative experience: Ended up looking for a place with better communication as just the booking process here looked like mission impossible. Too much hassle to even discuss the tattoo - after explaining it 3rd time to the same person I just gave up. They don't remember what you discussed before and don't communicate between each other so you have to explain everything to each person. When I asked for the artist I wanted, they wouldn't connect us directly either. Hopefully the tattooing skills are better but what's the point if you don't even manage to sit on their chair? My personal experience was disappointing.

The tattoo itself is superb, demonstrating the skill that Zack possesses. It turned out exactly how I had pictured. There’s a very nice vibe to the shop; all staff seemed to be getting on well and there was constantly decent music playing. Look forward to my next tattoo soon!

Fantastic experience: If you need a tattoo, get in contact with Zack from Top Gun Tattooing! Had two tattoos done today, one in script on my arm saying ‘inhale exhale’ and I am amazed! The text literally looks like it’s been printed out of a word document and slapped on my arm- not a real tattoo! It is so lovely. And Zack checked and double checked placement too. I then had a Baymax (Disney/Pixar character from Big Hero 6) done In a sketchy sort of style with a splash of blue watercolour. I am in love- exactly how I wanted it and the water colour looks so soft and perfectly placed and coloured. I was really nervous as had never been there before, I’m fine with pain but just worry about the typical ‘small talk’ that comes with tattoos. Zack was chatty and so friendly! He let me sit up instead of lay down due to issues with my back and legs it was easier for me so he is very considerate too. Completely forgot about any pain when being tattooed, didn’t flinch or say ouch once! At most felt like a sharp scratch for a split second but only on my arm. Baymax on my leg felt like it was being done with a pen or something, literally no pain. Absolutely love both my new additions and will be back next month for the next character! Thanks Zack!

The design is gorgeous, I get compliments everytime someone sees it. Zack is a very good artist who works quickly and thoroughly. The rest of the team is lovely and welcoming too.
