I’ve had tattoos done by jay, Craig and more recently Sophie due to them specialising in different styles & techniques and each one is incredible with their work and always friendly and really communicate with you throughout the process to make sure your happy with the tattoo & get exactly what you want whilst also making you feel relaxed. The environment is so chill & everyone is welcoming! Won’t be going to any other tattoo studio for my future tattoos & cannot recommend these guys enough

Fantastic experience: I cannot begin to recommend J. Saundry at the devils club enough! He’s an incredibly knowledgeable and talented artist, and a delight to be tattooed by. Lovely clean, friendly shop too! I approached James for my first tattoo as a scar coverup, and was so impressed with his work and how well it healed that we’ve now almost completed a sleeve. He’s always been happy to listen to my ideas and help with any queries- no ask is ever too big or small for him. I could go on, but it’s better to pay him a visit, cheers Jay!

Fantastic experience: I had my first ever tattoo done by Sophie at Devils Club on Friday and she made it such a light hearted and not stressful experience. She was very attentive to any needs and questions I had and was so patient. She gave me full creative freedom the whole way and made sure I was 100% happy with how the tattoo was going at all times. Aswell as this the tattoo looks great with amazing attention to detail throughout and is healing really well. Couldn’t recommend more!

Lovely guy, good and comfortable to chat with and very professional. He also helped me pick out designs and with his consultation I couldn't be more pleased with his work. Fantastic experience: I got a tattoo here a few days ago by J.saunders and it is absolutely incredible, the healing process went amazing and he was very informative. He was a great laugh and a good person to talk to whilst having my very first tattoo, I spoke to him on the day about returning for another one and preferably having him tattoo me again and he stated he would be more then happy to but that if he knew a different tattoo artist in the shop could do my design better as its there style that he would suggest i go with them, this shows how in the shop they actually care about the quality of tattoo you get and dont just ram any tattoo style on you that isnt specifically there style. Overall, my experience couldnt have been better and i will be coming here for any future tattoo's especially by J.saunders. (my tattoo design was tattooed on me exactly jow it was drawn, just how i asked)

Fantastic experience: 3rd time visiting this studio and I couldn’t be happier with the service they all provide. Everyone is kind and friendly and considerate and compassionate. They take clients comfortably very seriously and accommodate where they can. Jaime has been my artist this time round, I have also worked with Reb also and they have both done an amazing job. This time round I had 2 sessions with Jaime on a back piece, and both times he was very patient and reassuring through out. He’s done an amazing job and I’m so very happy with my back piece that he has done! Couldn’t recommend this studio and these artists enough! So thank you!

Fantastic experience: Being nervous about having a tattoo done traveling I was referred to Sophie Violet. I cannot express how comfortable, warm and engaged I felt with my experience. I had 2 smaller pieces and a larger one. She suggested breaks, made sure I was comfortable and educated on care whilst traveling. I am incredibly happy with the work and service and would suggest anyone looking for a beautiful piece to see her.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had several tattoos done in this studio by Reb and frankly wouldn’t consider going anywhere else, in general the entire studio is very welcoming and respectful. Reb herself is an incredibly friendly, considerate and professional artist providing a caring and positive experience. I would strongly recommend this studio for anybody wanting tattoos, all of the artists are incredibly talented and you will not find a more comfortable studio in Liverpool.

Fantastic experience: Yet another brilliant tattoo by Jamie, who has been doing my tattoo's for a few years now. Every time he has done an excellent job, colours havnt faded, have heallednreally quickly with no scabbing at all. He is very talented and will take the design you give him and adapts it so it's a design just for you, unless you say that you want it exactly as the picture. Jamie makes sure you are comfortable, checking on you all the time making sure you are OK. His while area and equipment is spotless.

Fantastic experience: Amazing artist George merry was super patient with me and my partner. My tattoo was amazing and we had a lovely chat but what sold the service for me was how lovely he was with my partner as she was getting her first tattoos, he talked her through the whole process and hand drew a design on her ear patiently and uniquely for her. Wonderful and will be coming back!!

Negative experience: Tattooist George Merry was extremely snappy and rude with my girlfriend saying things like, ‘if you keep moving this will go from a 25m tattoo to a 1 and 1/2 hour tattoo’ even though she was having a back tattoo lying face down and only adjusted her position to avoid cramp when he had stopped to get ink but never moved whilst he was tattooing and then she explained that she had had 2 tattoos from another artist in the past and they had faded and then when giving the routine of what to do for after care she politely said that she knows what to do as she has 15+ tattoos and he snappily said ‘well everyone has their own way of doing it and you’ve had some fade and it could be the artist or you could be doing something wrong’ and she said ‘I have 13 other tattoos that have never faded only his tattoos have’ and he then said sarcastically ‘moving on’ and him saying all of this was confusing as after she originally told him he was making fun off the artist who did them and was overall quite rude and patronising after she said ‘ I might fall asleep’ as she had had a back tattoo before in the same place and was joking saying she’d be fine and he answered sarcastically ‘we’ll see about that’ and also on top of the whole wasting time comment, my gf didn’t take any breaks and only moved when he stopped tattooing to get ink and in the meantime before doing the tattoos, he smoked two cigs which by his standards was wasting time and we were there for 45m before he started the tattoo and he wasn’t tattooing anyone in this time, he was mostly smoking. He also was very rude and picky about her hair as she tied her hair up as tightly as possible and he kept saying to tie it tighter when she couldn’t. And at the end my girlfriend was fed up with being spoken to like that and wanted to go when he had started the cling film she thought he had finished and was talking to me sorting out the money and he said ‘You’re quick to leave , I haven’t done any of the tape on the cling wrap’ and had an overall rude tone throughout. Also he let the tattoo gun wire fall down over face and eyes and buzz down her ear the whole time and squirted cleaning products out that went into her eye and said about that ‘ooo he’s a little bit excited today’ rather than saying sorry Overall just a rude and awkward experience. Furthermore, if you suffer from anxiety or any form of social anxiety, I do not recommend coming and getting anything from him.

Fantastic experience: @oneafter12 is the friendliest, most approachable tattoo artist! There’s no one else I would let tattoo me. All of his work is done in a professional, perfect manner. He is so patient when it comes to tattoo placement & sizing, he wants you to have the best tattoo for you, and that shines through in any conversation had with him. The Devils club is a clean, friendly environment who makes everyone feel welcome (even Sid the doggo comes and says hi!). All the staff are lovely & will always answer any questions/ queries you may have.

Fantastic experience: The FOH Robyn is the absolute loveliest person I've ever met! And my dog Olive absolutely loves her dog Sid (we call them boyfriend and girlfriend!). All the tattoo artists are so nice, but I've only ever been pierced here so here's my review for Danny the piercer: I've had quite a lot of piercings done by Danny now and he's been so excellent every time with helping me through it as I get very very nervous and anxious. He's easy to talk to and we have a laugh which definitely helps ease my nerves. The actual piercing experience has always been flawless, quick, easy and as painless as possible! He's even tapered back open some of my old piercings that I thought had closed back up. And he's so so helpful when I have queries or worries, gets back to me as soon as he can with helpful advice and always is so welcoming to get me in to double check that everything is ok. Some of my piercings are less usual ones (high/mid nostrils) that I've had done - and done badly - by other piercers but Danny has been excellent at placement, working around scar tissue and getting me exactly what I want. I couldn't recommend Danny more highly

Fantastic experience: I have gotten all of my tattoos with Reb. Super professional and clean, but also always a good chat! Reb is always happy to change a design to make it just right which is great, and makes me feel really relaxed. I wouldn't go anywhere else, to be honest! A great atmosphere. They also recently got a piercer, Danny, who is incredible. He has done my nose and helix now and both have been a lovely experience. Plus, you get great choices in jewellery and advice or guidance any time via Instagram- I've had a few issues when I have caught my piercings and he is always happy to help however he can. An absolute star! Would highly recommend him - very clean, very professional and very knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I went to The Devils Club, for a day session with the amazing James Saundry. Firstly the shop is amazing and super modern and looked after very well. But my artist James, he specialises in traditional tattoos and I had a day session with him for 3 medium/ small tattoos. I cannot recommend him highly enough, the art is phenomenal. But also as a person hands down the best artist and person I’ve ever worked with, I felt nothing but relaxed and extremely taken care of. Was an extremely collaborative process and I left with better pieces of art due to that, yet had all my needs met. He’s bloody great! Will definitely be returning back to get more work off him! Couldn’t recommend enough!

I was almost giving up hope of finding an artist who could put all my thoughts/ideas I had into a design... and then I went The Devils Club and met Adam. He took time out, sat with me and I told him I wanted a tattoo which was based on a very personal matter. I’m not an artist so I needed someone to bring my idea to life, he blew my mind with the design. Such a clever design. I’ve since had another tattoo done by Adam, and soon to be three. All the artists in there are extremely talented. Everyone is friendly and down to earth. And they have two adorable pooches in there. Whoever you chose in The Devils Club to do your tattoo, trust them 100% and you won’t be disappointed

Fantastic experience: I've had three tattoos done by Herdis (hopefully more to come!) and they're some of my absolute favourites. she has an illustrative style I'm obsessed with, her colour work is amazing. the atmosphere in the shop is nice and relaxed, everyone's nice and talkative. there's also a super cute dog, made my year to see a puppy and get a tattoo! the shop is very clean, there was always someone cleaning. I travelled from South Wales to get inked, and it was well worth the 8 hour round trip. only downside is that the shop isn't the most accessible due to the stairs, I think that was the only entrance but I could be wrong.
