Fantastic experience: Lovely studio an remi is the best. Designed exactly what i had in mind and the tattoo is amazing.

Negative experience: Really poor experience with vintage ink (vintageinkx on instagram) Had a booking with her about 1 month in advance, after having one tattoo previously done by her. Less than 24 hours before the appointment, she messages me to reschedule (due to personal reasons), so we reschedule for the week after. Of course this is not a problem with me, as I understand things happen. Considering the first tattoo she did for me was also rescheduled at the last minute, due to 'food poisoning', I was very understanding. On the day of the tattoo, (1hr before) as I'm on the train to my appointment she messages me to try and reschedule again (because her train was cancelled). I understand that's annoying for you, but when I've already told you I'm on my way there, it's extremely unprofessional to refuse to find another way into work. For whatever reason she refused to get a taxi there or find another way, so left me extremely disappointed, and needed to get the train straight back home. From her tone it sounded as if she just couldn't be bothered to work that day, and could not care less about trying to make it to the studio. Would not recommend her to anyone, she is unprofessional and a time waster.

Fantastic experience: Went with my girlfriend to get her first tattoo and the atmosphere was perfect, calming everyone was incredibly friendly. And our artist, Remi, was amazingly kind and spent lots of time making sure the design and placement of the tattoo was just right. Didn't make us feel rushed at any point and was happy to talk the entire process through with us before and whilst we were doing it. Amazing studio!

Fantastic experience: They have 5 stars for a reason, Paul did a great job on both mine and my husband’s tattoos. They got us in short notice and helped us out, allowing us to use PayPal when other places would only take cash. If you are from US, take out enough cash ahead of time for tattoo as most places don’t take credit card. Paul was fun and great to chat with during the tattoo appointment and gave us some good recommendations for Liverpool as well. Highly recommend this business, it has a wonderful atmosphere of artists as well.

Fantastic experience: Me and my mum went here for her first every tattoo and my second one, we were booked in with Lewis. Lewis was really friendly and made sure that we were both 100% happy with the placement of our tattoos before he began tattooing, the shop was very nice and everyone was really friendly and kind. We felt very welcomed.

Fantastic experience: I had my tattoo done with Ella at dr feel good and it was an amazing experience for my first tattoo. She was really great with me going through the design of my tattoo with me and letting me make changes to the tattoo if there was anything that I felt I didn’t want. When getting the tattoo she was really kind throughout checking if I was okay and making conversation with myself and boyfriend during it. I would highly suggest getting a tattoo with her and I’m really happy with the final tattoo!

Negative experience: Popped in to have a chat with one of the tattooists but unfortunately “lovely Apryl” wasn’t lovely today. She asked us to have a seat as she was busy with something, so we did & then she carried on socialising with a colleague & forgot all about us. We were not made to feel welcome at all & not prepared to just sit there until she decided to do her job. Such a same as we’ve only ever heard good things about this place. It’s a big decision getting a tattoo & we just needed a little help & a friendly face but that wasn’t forthcoming. Gutted as we’d planned this visit for a while & we’d been looking forward to getting new art work, but it didn’t go the way we’d hoped.

Fantastic experience: Had a few tattoos done with Ella and I couldn’t recommend her more. She was extremely patient with me and made sure I was happy though out the process and didn’t mind at all that we played around with stencils. Such a nice and friendly environment would definitely recommend!

Her customer service skills are excellent and she made us feel like we were chatting to a friend all along. Her tattoo skills are also just brilliant. The whole tattoo was done with so much care and gentleness, it turned out amazing. I’ve never been a fan of wording tattoos, but she has just opened up a new world for me and she can definitely expect me back!

Fantastic experience: I got a tattoo with Ella and she is fab! Absolutely amazing and so relaxing, so attentive asking if I needed a break and if I was okay through the appointment. The tattoo is everything I wanted and Ella is so gentle, felt no pain at all. Went through a consultation of the design before doing anything and they always have the customer in mind. I 100% recommend Ella and Dr Feelgood they are amazing and do beautiful work.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few tattoos done by Ella and I have to say hands down she is my favourite, Ella is so calming, polite and kind person, I found it really easy to talk to her through our long session, she was constantly asking if am okay and if we needed a break, if you going to book with anyone I would recommend Ella she has amazing fine line work. I would also say the studio is really good everyone just so chilled and welcoming.

We sent our designs and ideas and he drew them up and altered the design/placement until we were completely happy. Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo here on the 17th of April off Judge Death from 2000AD comic line, the artist Lee a you can see in the photos did a amazing job on it, took around 5 hours from start to finish, during that time myself and my friend who was with me were given coffee in the house, were looked after and if I ever wanted to pause the season then I could. The place is extremely clean and the job was 100% custom, I sent in a couple of black and white images from ye comic book, which Lee coloured using from other images of the character of the Internet from the comic book. added to this is more tattoos i have had over the next yeah of the other 3 Dark Judges, Fear, Fire and Mortis done over 3 appointments.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been getting tattooed by Lee for a number of years now and I haven’t got anything but positive words for him and his work. I always have compliments on my tattoos, and I couldn’t be any prouder to tell people who designs them and where the shop is! April is so lovely and welcoming on the front desk and the atmosphere in The Original Dr Feelgood can’t be competed with. Lee is a superb artist and I’m very privileged to be tattooed by him.

Negative experience: Wish I could of given a zero , my tattoo was way more painful then it should of been , the wrong amount of needles were used which has lead to scarring and I have had to have it reworked and added to so it doesn't look like a disgrace on my leg , will never recommend this place again as I have now got life long damage to my leg by a artist not a apprentice

Honestly can't believe how well its turned out and managed to get it boxed off in 1 day session too. Staff make you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you walk in till the second you leave. Fantastic experience: Great place for tattoos of any size, the staff are friendly starting from the amazing receptionists to the tattoo artists themselves. Some artist might be booked up for a whole month in advance but seeing their work it’s not surprising! Their work is absolutely fantastic. They also host weekly walk in sessions for your little tattoos where you can come in a group or by yourself to get any little designs you been dying to get. Perfect for stag dos/ hen dos.

Fantastic experience: I had originally booked in for two very small tattoos. Then within a few days of my booking changed it to a medium size tattoo on my ribs. Lee was more than happy to accommodate my changes. The tattoo process was second to none. Lee is a fantastic artist who listens to the customers wants and recommends ideas and thoughts based on his experience. I had previously had a tattoo done 3 years ago with Lee, and couldn’t think of anyone else that would do my ideas justice. Thank you for such an experience again.

I had been threatening for years to get a liverbird tattoo while on one of my trips over from Ireland and last Monday my lifelong dream was fulfilled by the very talented Lewis, such a nice guy. Really friendly atmosphere and made feel very relaxed, I would highly recommend a visit, I will definitely be back, 10/10.....YNWA

Fantastic experience: I've had a few tattoos done here and I wouldn't go anywhere else now. The last one I had was a back tattoo done by Lee, he was amazing, made me feel really comfortable and his design was out of this world. I also went in a couple of months ago for their late night Saturdays, I was tattooed by Lewis and he did a beautiful fine line design. Amazing studio, that I will definitely be using again!

Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo done at Dr feel good a few weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier! Amazing customer service, everyone in the studio was so welcoming. Becky who completed my tattoo was so lovely and patient with me as I was very nervous. 10/10

Negative experience: I really wish I’d had walked out when I was kept sat waiting for 45 mins while a partial (not completed) design was thrown together for me. Becky obviously doesn’t care what her clients think or take any pride in her own work. After having a good few great tattoos off Becky since she started out I was massively disappointed with my last visit. Had sent her a pic weeks before and what she drew last minute was very different. I messaged Becky after to explain politely and ask if we could work together on a fix. Her reply was a ton of excuses including “I’m just a junior” followed by “get someone else to fix it”. I then emailed the shop owner who didn’t reply at all (poor customer service!). I just asked for the deposit for the finishing of the tattoo, returned (not unreasonable) and a refund on the misshaped tattoo created by Becky. I’ve since had the tattoo corrected by a junior artist elsewhere who was capable of doing a similar design to what I’d asked for and listened to what I wanted. Be warned…. It appears that you have to like what Becky decides to permanently put on your skin. Pay your money and take your chance!

Fantastic experience: I went in for a tattoo without an appointment, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though this was my first tattoo I felt very comfortable with them and I'm already looking forward to coming again. The tattoo I got was a simple line art design, I showed them a picture and after about half an hour of work I had it. The price was also very good, only £40!

Artists (I have been to Ray and Lee) are so easy to work with when you're showing them designs and always have great ideas to make each one unique. Fantastic experience: Love it at Dr FeelGood ever since moving to Liverpool nearly two years ago. I've currently had six traditional style tattoos from Paul, with a couple more booked in to finish a sleeve. Always easy to book in 1 or 2 months notice via Instagram with the shop manager, the art is great, and in most cases a better healing process than I've had in the past. Additionally, a considerably better going rate than other traditional style artists I spoke with in the area before. Couldn't recommend more!
