Fantastic experience: I asked Charlotte if she could do a lower leg piece. I gave her the first part of the design and explained what I wanted. The end result is way beyond what I imagined!!! Charlotte took the original piece and added 5 other parts of her own design and made an incredible piece that fits my leg just right. So happy!!! The whole experience with the planning and execution was flawless, I have and will recommend the studio to anyone who asks where to go to get any tattoo!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently had a few tattoos done by Mollie, and she is absolutely lovely. She’s easy to talk to, professional, and keeps her workstation spotless. Her artwork is phenomenal - she has completed beloved pet portraits that genuinely capture not only their likeness but their personality as well. More recently, she created a small cartoon design for me after I requested a last-minute change when I arrived, which I really appreciated. The tattoos healed beautifully and are still looking amazing. You may have to wait a little while for an appointment, but that’s just because everyone else has already figured out how good she is. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I've been tattooed here by Mollie Parkin and honestly she's the best tattooist I've ever had! My first tattoo with Mollie I was so anxious and told her I didn't sit well, I'm now many tattoo sessions later and can comfortably sit for 4 hours with Mollie! Mollie is so comfortable to be around, makes you feel at home and somehow super gentle with the tattoo gun! 10/10 she will always be my tattoo artist and I recommend everyone go! The studio is clean and the atmosphere is so great, can't ask for a better studio and artist!

Fantastic experience: had pretty much all my tattoos done by Holli. She does an amazing job every single time and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. She has her own top tier designs and she can also alter any designs you give her to perfectly match what you want. Her fine line work is absolutely perfect and i always leave the shop feeling extremely happy with the work she has done. There is no need to worry as she is insanely knowledgeable and helpful and makes the whole process easy and relaxing. 10/10 work every single time, i couldn’t recommend her enough.

She’s super helpful with helping you come up with a design and tweaking it to make sure it’s perfect for you. She’s very gentle when she tattoos and is always checking if you’re comfortable or if you need a break. She’s got good chat and will always have something to talk to you about, even if it’s completely random. Would highly recommend!

She put me at ease, prior toy appointment, answering ally questions and producing exactly what I wanted. The end result is a beautiful piece of art which I am very proud to show off when ever I get the chance. She was so kind and lovely and made the whole experience enjoyable, even making my mum a cup of tea my tattoo is perfect and exactly what I wanted. The studio is clean and made me feel relaxed. Fantastic experience: Went to young carnival Tattoo today to use my vouchers I won at the ice hockey. Charlotte did my tattoo . She was lovely kind and respectful and very gentle when doing my tattoo. The staff there are really kind and welcoming and offer you a drink and make sure you are ok. I would fully recommend you going here if you want a tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Can not recommend this studio highly enough. A relaxed and calm friendly place. Made to feel at ease. Given it was my first (but not my last) tattoo. The basic design I gave to Lib was transformed into something far better with Lib's input and skill.

Fantastic experience: After seeing some of the work that Holli had done for my daughter, I thought I’d have my first tattoo in over 25 years. Holli is not only a fabulous artist, she also listens so well to client requirements, going over the smallest details to ensure that my tattoo would match my expectations. What can I say other than the tattoo, which was to cover a previous one, was even better than I imagined it could be - so much so that we discussed, and are in the process of now creating a full sleeve. Generally though, Young Cardinal Tattoo has a wonderful, calming vibe about the place. Holli, Mollie and Charlotte are not only wonderfully skilled and talented artists, but also genuinely lovely people who will make you feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door - it’s almost like going for therapy! I’m counting down the days for my next visit and have already discussed future work with Holli - I’m so impressed by the incredible talent that she has. If you want a tattoo (or some therapy!), then I would say that there is no better place than Young Cardinal Tattoo. (I will update this review with a photo when the sleeve is in its full glory - be prepared to be blown away!!)

Fantastic experience: I have been tattooed by and gotten to know Charlotte over 8 years. She is by far the best tattoo artist out there in my opinion. I’ve had all my tattoos with Charlotte and she always goes the extra mile for me in terms of feeling comfortable and making a nice environment/atmosphere. I had my cat tattooed after he passed away so in his memory Charlotte tattooed a photo of him for me. This was around 3 years ago and I’ve been getting compliments ever since. Charlottes attention to detail is fantastic, she’s always gentle and always draws me a variety of sizes to choose from. Her artwork is original and I’m so blessed to have Charlotte as my tattoo artist. All the ladies working as tattoo artists at young cardinal have always been welcoming and all of their art work is also stunning! I couldn’t recommend a better and more welcoming tattoo studio in derby and surrounding.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience getting my first tattoo! I chose to go with Mollie as I saw her pet portraits and fell in love. The space is so welcoming as are all the artists. Millie was great, allowed me to take breaks whenever I needed and really helped me decide on placement, size etc. what I thought might not be a so pleasant experience was actually wonderful. I wasn’t sure what normal tattoo etiquette was but you can talk, not talk, read and book, do whatever you want really which was lovely. Mostly we talked around the room which was really nice. The studio was also incredibly cleaned, you could smell it as soon as you walked in. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Fantastic experience: I have been to the amazingly talented Grace on several occasions and she really makes my dreams a reality, her work is beautiful and versatile and she’s never scared of a challenge! She is so calm and welcoming as well as someone you can chat to for hours, which is a definite plus when you’re being tattooed for that long. The overall studio is stunning! It’s clean and beautifully decorated with a warm lovely atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place and its talented artists enough!!!
