Fantastic experience: I went here because of recommendations from friends of mine for my first tattoo cover up and I was blown away by the quality of Tom’s work. I knew it was going to be bang on from pictures I’ve seen of his work, but it exceeded all expectations, which I didn’t think was possible as they were sky high to begin with. Tom and the lads there are a great group really welcoming, and the banter was flying from start to finish, made it even better. 10/10 is an understatement, couldn’t be happier with my tattoo, thanks boys!

Fantastic experience: Both my husband and I got inked by Jardy to celebrate our anniversary, and we were so blown away by his artistry and friendly demeanour that we couldn’t walk away without getting more tattoos both of us can’t wait to return for another appointment in the near future. The other artists in the studio are just as friendly too! Great atmosphere and incredible art. Fair warning though, don’t beat yourselves up if you can’t leave without having more than what you went in for! Will add photos later if I can as our tattoos are still healing

Fantastic experience: Got in contact with Oliver via Instagram (@oliver.jtattoo) about getting my first tattoo. He was super helpful coming up with the design and helping explain the process to me. When it came to the day of the tattoo, Oliver was very accommodating. Ensuring I understood the process and was happy with the design. Oliver then got to work and brought the design to life. The whole environment of Collective Tattoos studio was lively and social which helped ease nerves and allowed me to feel welcome. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be back.

Tom takes pride in his work and his attention to detail is fantastic. Always a great atmosphere and a good laugh, making you feel really relaxed whilst in the chair. Thanks Tom! Fantastic experience: Jarddy tattoo is one of the most incredible tattoo artists I’ve seen ! So choosing him to continue my leg sleeve was a no brainer. I have now done 6 days with Jarddy on my leg sleeve and it’s safe to say his work is second to none. He’s phenomenal at what he does and has such an eye for all detail, the attention he puts into each piece is incredible. Jardy will look at any photos you send and come up with a design from his artistic perspective which come out as exceptional tattoos. He doesn’t rush and will ensure you are satisfied with every aspect through each step! He’s sound and makes you feel so comfortable as a client. I will not go to anyone else for my tattoos. If you want some sick realism tattoos, I couldn’t recommend anyone better !

Fantastic experience: After looking round for a tattoo artist for my first tattoo, I really liked the detail work done by Oliver at Collective Tattoo in Derby. I sent him some design ideas and booked the session. We talked through the details and 4 hours later I now have my first tattoo. Oliver was great. Very patient very knowledgeable and a genuinely nice guy. Importantly though, his tattoo was fantastic! I've already got some ideas for another one which will be booked in hopefully before the end of the year. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Today I had my second tattoo at Collective Tattoo in Derby by the amazingly talented Hopz (Jade). My 1st was a 2 day sitting for a cover up on my leg after laser treatment to fade the original. I gave her my ideas and she did not dissapoint. She captured exactly what I wanted in a gorgeous black and grey Phoenix perfectly. Today was a beautiful colour piece on my arm to remember my mum. A delicate, unbelievably realistic pink rose set on line work full of personal meaning. Jade is always so sweet and easy to chat to and work through ideas with, she really listens and works with you to get exactly what you want in your tattoos while offering ideas on how it will look it's best. She has got both tattoos perfect! We are already planning how to rework a very old tattoo on my back. She always works to the highest standard and I wouldn't go to anyone else now.

She took wonderful care with me as I struggled sitting still with pain, took things at my pace and was as gentle as possible. Prior to my appointment Livia worked hard to achieve a design which was to my liking and made tweaks when asked. Couldn’t recommend her more. The studio is clean, spacious and well-ventilated. I had the pleasure of sitting in front of a large open sash window throughout my session on a beautiful day which elevated my experience all the more.

She had created a very nice design according to our wishes and made sure we were happy with the placement and shading. It all looked very professional and clean. The session was wonderfully relaxed. Fantastic experience: Absolutley stunning, got these three done in one day by Jade @hopztattoo. Beyond my expectations. I sent her a photo of me giving a hi5 to my dog Teddy and she put design together for me and has done an amazing job, my dog looks exactly the same as in the photos I sent. She also added her own twist to the astrological design which was also fab. Last tattoo of the day was on my ribs in honour of my great grandma that passed away and I love this piece, exactly how I imagined and this tattoo has a special meaning to me. Positive experience: I can see why some people would enjoy the atmosphere in there but it really wasn't for me, I had 1 person acknowledge me when I came in and it just felt really awkward. 3 artists crammed in 1 tiny room upstairs (there were other rooms) wasn't very pleasant. Artist was quite quick to get me wrapped up and gone, didn't seem overly bothered about their work (not going to say who it was because that isn't fair). They did a fairly good job of the tattoo, part of it wasn't what I asked for though but it wasn't that clear from the stencil so didn't realise until it was done, it does work as it is but it just isn't quite what I wanted. Nice decor but I don't think I'd go back, I have a regular place that is more to my tastes

Fantastic experience: Messaged Elisha with an idea and booked in. Came on the day pretty nervous but a smile and a friendly face quickly made me feel at ease. Waited while she finished my design which was absolutely amazing exactly what I wanted and more she had made it even better than I imagined. Upstairs we went and she made sure i was happy with everything and comfy and then she started bringing it to life on my leg. I felt at ease the whole time happily watching although I was offered to play my phone or my switch which came with me but I really enjoyed watching it come to life. Next we went for lunch and I had another idea for us to do after lunch which was a pokeball and I said she could funk it up a bit. Elisha took this idea and made it amazing she took my idea and added her own artistic take on it and it looked perfect. She made sure I was happy with her design and then we went and she again made sure I was happy with everything and off we went again. She said we could have a break anytime which was really nice. After we had finished she was very thorough with her aftercare advice and made sure I understood everything and knew what to do. My new tattoo's are amazing and full of colour exactly as I hoped. I would definitely recommend Elisha to everyone and anyone and I will definitely be back because she had an idea to save one of my teenager tattoo's I had elsewhere with her creative mind. You are definitely in safe hands here and she is amazing
