Don't over charge, take really good care of both their work, and you. I could keep going on about this place, but if you ever want a tattoo, go here, you will not regret it. Now I want another tattoo, to go with the one I just had done. Best birthday present.

Fantastic experience: Sabrina is amazing! I got all 4 of my tattoos from her! My first one was a memorial piece for my childhood dog. She outdid herself with the design of my tattoo. I was nervous but she was very reassuring and was always checking in to see if I needed a break. The tattoo still looks great today! My second was a memorial monarch butterfly. I get so many compliments on it. The colour work in it is amazing and still very bright. My other two are floral line work tattoos. The lines are precise and crisp. She also did a coverup on my fiance and wow! The detail in it is amazing! I 100% recommend Sabrina to anyone. She’s talented, professional, clean and fun to talk to.

Fantastic experience: I have been tattooed by pretty much everyone at this shop throughout the years and have only been unhappy once and that was many years ago but the owner, Rob, fixed the issue without hesitation. I've most recently had work done by Sabrina and she's lovely. Very personable and amazingly talented.

Fantastic experience: Sabrina does all our tattoos. She has done at least 14 of my tattoos. Also has done my husband, son and daughters as well as other friends and family. She gives her honest opinion and works with you to get the tattoo you want. Give her chance to work with you and she will make sure you are getting the tattoo of your dreams!!

Fantastic experience: Went to Rob for a tattoo 17 years ago. When time came for another one I went back. He truly is an amazing artist. The attention to detail is unreal. Very relaxed easy going atmosphere and the other staff are all very kind and personable. Highly recommend stopping by and setting an appointment with Rob.

Negative experience: I wasn't even sure if I wanted to write a review, honestly a lot of the process of getting my first tattoo at Don't Tell Momma's Tattoo shop in Kingston was SO disappointing. But the tattoo itself is decent. I'm satisfied with the work, although it's not perfect. At first communicating with Sabrina was quick and pleasant. The day of the appointment she was running late, which she communicated to me in advance (she sent a message at 10:30am to let me know). It was an 11am appointment. I was parked at the shop by about 10:55am. It was closed so I waited. At 11:15 (I actually think it was later than this but I don't know the EXACT time so I am being cautious not to exaggerate) I opened the message to see if she had sent an ETA, and at that moment the OPEN sign on the shop just flicked on. I guess that meant they were ready for me. I'm sure the next step would have been to text me to let me know, but it still just felt inconsiderate. It was after 11:30 before I was invited to the chair. The front of the shop seemed reasonably clean and well kept. The back of the shop where I was sat was not. It was visibly dirty - not just the peeling wallpaper and cobwebs in the corners but dust and bits of tissue/garbage all over the floor and just general disorder. I should have walked out at that point. But the artist had so many good reviews. And I really wanted my tattoo. The stencil went on fine, we changed the placement no problem. I specifically mentioned that I was anxious and it was my first tattoo. She didn't really tell me what to expect, ask any questions, no real customer service in response to that. I put on my headphones after that so she can't be blamed for not chatting or anything.The tattoo was fine, it was in an easy spot, no pain, and she worked quickly. Other than the flies constantly buzzing around, which was gross. When we were finished, I paid, with a pretty nice tip. I had to say "So how do I take care of it?" before she offered any instructions. She said "use soap like Aveeno and a gentle lotion. Dont go swimming." No care sheet, nothing about the healing process (ink shedding, scabbing, how often or how much to wash/lotion, etc.) Again I don't know any of this. Five days later everything is looking ok, but there's some redness. I discussed it with someone with more ink who suggested I was over lotioning. She said let it dry out a bit and show the artist so she could see what was going on. So I did. The response was super rude. She said that I should only ever listen to the care suggested by her and never listen to friends. She said "It's still healing." Which yes, I get. But I reminded her she didn't give me any care instructions and I don't know what's normal or not. To paraphrase, she basically responded that I should have asked more questions if I needed to know more. I don't know what I don't know. How can I ask? Again, the tattoo is fine. There's some wobbles that I will get touched up elsewhere. I would absolutely not recommend this shop or artist Sabrina to anyone who has high expectations of the customer service, or the shop being sterile.

Negative experience: I went in, from out of town, hoping to discuss a large piece to be started in the Fall. Waited for 15 mins before Sabrina comes out looking and acting like I ruined her day. It's too bad because it looks like there are some decent artists working here but that experience soured my perceptions. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I honestly forgot the feeling how tattoos feel (I've got 4) and since my last one before this, Everything has changed. The tattoo gun Rob used was SO much quieter than previous. Fantastic experience: My friend went in to get something to remember a family member. I just came to watch. About half way through her tattoo I got the nerve up to get my first one with some encouragement from her and the artist. The tattoo artist that did mine was Maverick. I really enjoyed getting my first tattoo with him. He was reassuring and calming, constantly checking in to see if I was doing all right. The end result of the tattoo was amazing. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: Took my son, 15 for his first Tattoo. The needle touched his skin and an explosion of sweat, pale skin ans stars appears. Brad got him through it with ice and fans. He was knowledgeable about Ben's reaction got him through it and Ben ended up with an awesome tattoo

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and welcoming staff. I did not book an appointment, but they were kind enough to accept me as a walk in and complete my tattoo. This was my first tattoo and Maverick and sonia did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable throughout the experience. Not to mention the whole process was very clean and sanitary. His son Maverick , an up and coming artist , does great work, light touch definitely going to be one of the great ones .can't speak on other artists there personally but I ve seen nothing but quality out of that shop. Positive experience: The reason I'm giving it a 4 star is due to communication. It was my first tattoo so I was nervous and I told this to the artist. However after giving her an idea what I wanted she said it would have to be big. I didn't want it big so I trusted her and kept looking for something. Cause I didn't want my friend be the only one getting a tattoo since I was in town only for the week. The second image I sent her she said it would have to be bigger. At this point I was getting frustrated and lost. She wasn't really helping me with ideas. Luckily the 3rd one she said she was able to do it. When I got that tattoo I loved it but once it healed I notice some lines faded or they just weren't thick enough. She really didn't match the image exactly but I still love it. I may just have a tune up somewhere to make the lines more solid. In total I paid 180 for the medium-ish tattoo.

Negative experience: Reached out on fb after I saw they moved to a location down the road from me. Got a reply but never a response on an appointment to try to fix my tattoo. They asked to see the tattoo so I sent a photo, I’ve been waiting for a week for a response. Definitely not professional. If you can’t fix it, tell me, don’t just ignore me.

Negative experience: I visited this place yesterday. I wasn't sure if the shop was opened as it wasn't very inviting. I was referred there, so I thought I would check it out. I went in, looked around and wasn't greeted as I walked in. It felt as though I was bothering them. I asked to see some porfolios and felt like pulling teeth. The one fella got a book and then I asked if I could get some writing of a small saying. One of the guys said he could do it, so I agreed. As I was fling out the consent form, I felt I was more of a nuissance being there, he didn't seem interested. I tried to start conversation, but there was nothing. After thinking that this was the worst experience I've had in a. Tattoo shop, I didn't want to have him tattoo me I didn't feel comfortable after that. Didn't look at my placement area, didn't ask how I wanted the wording, the size. I mentioned I had changed my mind and walked out. It's unfortunate. I don't know the names of the people working. It was the evening 08/09/22.

Absolutely beautiful work in replicating the GnR logo and incorporating my son’s name and the date of the concert we attended the year before he passed away. Rob did an amazing job in helping me cherish the memory of that day forever on me. Would recommend anyone who is looking for their first, fourth, 20th ink piece to give these artists a visit. Fantastic experience: I have had 2 amazing tattoos done by SABRINA and she is a fantastic artist. She did some written script on my side (ribs) which looks amazing and with an incredibly steady hand on the small font. I also had her do the planets from my wrist to elbow which used a blend of every colour imaginable and I couldn’t be happier with the result. My wife also had Sabrina do some fine line designs on her arm that turned out amazingly. Highly recommend Sabrina. It is a talent to be a pro with fine lines, script writing, and full colour blending. Thanks Sabrina!

Fantastic experience: Followed lots of advice and booked Sabrina. I expected a great tattoo and experience. What I got was above and beyond that. I'm blown away by the line work and attention to detail that Sabrina payed. She took the idea I sent over and make it both unique and world's better. Ill be back for sure. Even if you don't get yourwork done here, it's worth the check in before going somewhere else.

Negative experience: This pertains to one particular artist at this tattoo shop. I got 6 tattoos here from one person and she does great work but her professionalism is horrible. I love her work but my last tattoo she did I was told she would touch up a tattoo from someone else. When I went in for my tattoo she didn't have time to touch up my other which is fine. I made an appointment for it to be done and I showed up 25 mins early for it. I let her know I was there by text she told me she's running behind it would be a bit after 6 (my appointment was for 6:15). I messaged her after if we were still ok for 6:15, I never heard back, I decided to leave at 20 after 6 seeing i never got a reply. I messaged and asked her to reschedule as I had other stuff to do and wasn't sure how long it would be. She replied back saying, "You couldn't wait 15 minutes?" I tried to explain, I never heard back for a half an hour and would like to reschedule, she got super upset and argued with me. I've tried to set up the rest of my touch ups for her work she's done on me, seeing I get one free touch up and its been 2 days with no response. She is still posting photos of her work she just did to other customers on social media. Another situation with the artist i had was that she made it apparent to me she was interested in me personally, I politely let her know I was not interested. During our last conversation via text, regarding rescheduling for the touch up, I had mentioned I had to go meet up with my girlfriend. Her response was very unprofessional and it seemed like she took it very personal. When getting work done by a tattoo artist I'd expect full professionalism whether I knew them personally or not. I don't recommend her based on her unprofessionalism, but her art work is good

Negative experience: Awful experience on one of my first tattoos. Has many flaws, patchy in spots, ratios and sizes are off, when finished didn’t look anything like the tattoo I had agreed on. When I felt nervous they pressured me into going through with it. Would not recommend anyone go to this tattoo shop for any reason ever! Awful awful awful awful awful awful awful awful awful awful.

Negative experience: Don't recommend this place, avoid Chris he did a tattoo for me. There was alot of messy lines and areas missed for colour. While he was finishing up the face for my tattoo he missed the eye detail and I said "What about the eyes?" He said "Oh yea" Not sure if he was high or just not wanting to do the job but not worth the money to have to go get it "fixed" by another shop.
