For whatever reason I was hella nervous when booking the appointment; but she was on board with my ideas right from the get-go, and even pitched her own concepts to see what would mesh well. Within a couple days we had an appointment date set, and a selection of newly hand-drawn pieces to chose from. So far an amazing first impression! Randi can quickly put out solid as heck lines, but because these were 2 fairly big head pieces, she took her time to make sure the stencil placement was absolutely perfect. I also enjoyed that she offered water, sweets, and Bactine breaks in case I was the type to get woozy. Even though I already have a lot of tattoos, she didn’t assume I’d just “tough it out”. That level of attentiveness is a treasure nowadays. After only a couple hours, she got the job done, and I ain't got nothin' but praise to give! :) Overall, a super professional, compassionate, and keen-eyed artist. Highly recommend checkin' out her Instagram! Can't wait for the next sesh, Thanks again!

Not only can I complement her incredible talent, but also just who she is as a person. Every session—no matter how long—is always comfortable, easygoing, and honestly makes the whole tattoo experience even better. I always look forward to our conversations when I’m in the shop. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and makes sure your tattoo turns out exactly how you envision it. I trust her completely to bring my ideas to life, and she does it beautifully every time. I’ve loved every piece she’s done for me and will always keep going back. Her artistic talent isn’t limited to just one style, which is why I love going to her and one of the many reasons I recommend her whenever I get the chance. I always enjoy stepping into the shop. He's a solid artist and person, he is talented and I cant get enough of his traditional style. Solid and clean lines, blending and shading is top notch and the colours are solid. The entire staff is friendly, fun, and pretty awesome; I always have a good time here and the decor and atmosphere is #1.

The shop atmosphere is very safe and positive, everyone is super friendly. When I have a specific vision in mind Kat always works with me, even when I want to reposition the stencil 5 times. Every artist offers something a little different, so you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for. Definitely recommend flipping through the flash books while you’re there, I’m sure you’ll be coming back for another.

Expérience fantastique: Went to Kat at Soul One to get a memorial piece done for my soul dog who passed in March. Everything about the experience was great (except apparently there’s normally candy available? I missed out lol) I gave Kat a super light, dusty paw print from the vets office to work with and she was able to darken it up and give me the paw print I wished I’d gotten from the start. I will definitely be back when the “tattoo itch” hits again :)

Such talented artists, banter is easy, the vibe is there - really the whole experience is everything anyone could ask for while getting tattooed. I personally go to Kat Holmes for their flash (I have 5 pieces, and am 100% dedicating my right leg to her work), and have NEVER been disappointed! The only problem, sometimes... is that chosing a piece is hard because she has so many great pieces of art! But that also means that there is always something to come back for. Thank you all so much for an amazing experience every time, and thank you Kat for all the effort put into your beautiful work and decorating my flesh suit!

She was the very first tattoo artist I ever went to, and right from the beginning, she made me feel so welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. When we started my hip piece, I spent over 8 hours with her, and the whole process felt smooth, relaxed, and honestly, even fun. Randi truly listened to every detail I brought up during our consultation and somehow created a design that was even more beautiful than what I’d imagined. She has this amazing ability to turn your vision into something elevated, unique, and deeply personal. Her attention to detail is next-level. She takes her time, doesn’t rush a single step, and clearly takes so much pride in her work — which shows in the final product. My most recent tattoo has been on my body for over a year now, and I still catch myself looking at it in awe. It feels like a piece of wearable art, and I’m beyond lucky to have had someone as talented and intentional as Randi create it. I would trust Randi with any future tattoo, big or small. She’s not only an incredible artist, but a genuinely kind, grounding presence to be around. If you’re thinking about booking with her — do it. You’ll be in the best hands.

Expérience négative: Don't see Dave. I have 15 tattoos and never have seen someone go so drastically far outside of the stencil. They tried to say it was a "Scratch" but I had before and after photos. Plus the ink stuck in my skin outside of the tattoo area doesn't lie.. Poor customer service also. Do yourself a favour and drive to Toronto for some great ink.

Emma Taylor tattooed my throat, jaw to collar (first time in that placement for her). I gave very few stipulations and gave her free rein. She did an absolutely incredible job and I'm so happy. She's got a very gentle touch, is solicitous for your comfort and wellbeing, and her artwork is stunning. VISIT THE SHOP! Only if you know how to respect tattoo artists (any artist). Expérience fantastique: I’ve been to Sunny 3 times, twice at the Soul One studio! First one was about two years ago and all the pieces have healed beautifully. Sunny is a gem of a person and creates a safe & comfortable space for clients. The tattoo process is great, it doesn’t hurt as much as a machine tat, but heals and lasts just as long. I’ve done both flash and custom pieces, and each time it’s been a super easy process. Highly recommend Sunny for a first tattoo or to add to your collection.
