I had the pleasure of having Trey as my artist. I can not say enough great things about him. His artistic abilities are out of this world. He not only cares about his clients, but also is passionate about what he does. I came to him with an idea, and he was able to turn it in to reality; to include, tying it in to work I had done over a decade ago. Truly, top notch! From Taylor’s knowledge of who to have my niece and I work with based on the different designs we wanted, to the effortless process of scheduling an appointment and paying the deposit, to actually working with Amelia and Jacob! Experiencia fantástica: I'm from Annapolis, MD So I decided to get my 20th tattoo in VA Beach. I was a bit nervous about making the appointment since I was in a different state and had to explain what I wanted over the phone. However they were polite, willing and able to make everything work. I was tattooed by Tommy and in my head I was already telling myself to be focused and ready cause this was gonna be a painful one. For the most part I honestly barely felt a thing through that 4-Hour session. On top of that, the tattoo came out great! I have one more session to go but I definitely want to post what I have so far. This statue of Poseidon that he did.

Experiencia fantástica: I waited until after I was 50 to get my first tattoo and Sandbridge Tattoo was the only place I'd go. Tommy was my tattoo artist. He was professional and incredibly precise when it came to what I wanted. His lines and coloring are amazing. After my experience getting my first tattoo and the fact that I absolutely loved it, it was time for the next one. I have been in several more times since and Ashton was my tattoo artist for the others. He did a simple ghost for me and then I wanted another bigger one. The lines are perfect. The lion looks real. The whole tattoo is more than amazing. I then went back again for Ashton bc he did my lion so awesome and asked him to give me memories of my dogs. Once again, Ashton was patient with me and he took his time to make every line, every wrinkle, every shade perfect and clean. He did 3 dogs for me and they all look exactly like the photos I brought. I'm amazed at the artwork every day when I look at them. I have had wonderful experiences with all of the tattoos healing quickly as well. I put this on the artists themselves in their care and cleanliness while doing the tattoo to begin with. I also get so many compliments on them and always refer people to Sandbridge Tattoo for all of these reasons.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in yesterday for a walk in tattoo. The flash sale cancer tattoos, proceeds go to a family who have had to suffer the tragedy of not only cancer, but pediatric cancer. I absolutely had to support this beautiful cause. My own mom is battling ovarian cancer now. The entire staff have been so welcoming, kind, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Amelia is a badass, who did an amazing job on my tattoo, and her portfolio is out of this world. I will definitely be coming back to get more work from her. I absolutely recommend Sandbridge Tattoo!

The staff was wonderful, the check in process very easy, and the studio very clean. The wait time wasn’t bad at all as I went when they opened. Experiencia fantástica: I got an early gift for my wife, we both got tattoos of our dog. I was hesitant not seeing design before going in for tattoo. But arriving and seeing what Amelia drew after giving her pictures and explaining our concept me and my wife were astonished. They were super quick and we were done one hour after our appointment. Amelie is super talented and very personable and the staff here are all very professional when we were there. We will be going back to her for all of our tattoos in the future.

And the waiting room is very comfortable as well. The artist Amelia that I worked with was very nice and chill. She did amazing and quick work. So much so I came and I got a second tattoo. Highly would recommend this tattoo shop. The other artist that I had spoke to were also very nice.

Experiencia fantástica: If you had told me in January of 2024 that I'd have a tattoo by May, I would not have believed it. But here I am leaving a review for Sandbridge Tattoo. In an effort to keep my daughter from getting a large unknown tattoo, I agreed to matching "small" tattoos. From the time we walked in and talked with Erin at the front desk to the time we spent with Ian in the lobby and in his studio - these people are amazing. I loved how Ian answered ALL of my questions with no judgement, just honest answers and explanations. I love how he was open with me about himself as a person. I love the care he took with making sure we understood how to take care of our tattoos and gave examples of what might happen during healing and not to worry. The whole place was very clean, sanitary precautions were taken at every step. I can't say enough good about this place and our experience! Thank you Ian. Thank you Erin. Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed.. what I asked for vs what I got. Aaron was our artist. He wouldn't even allow all 3 of us to go back at the same time, and the spare chair was broken. $240 for less than an hours work and they can't even afford a decent chair. Ultimately I had to have another tattoo artist fix this. Take your business elsewhere!!

Experiencia fantástica: I walked into Sandbridge Tattoo to inquire about getting my tattoo covered up with a different design and had a pleasant experience from start to finish. I was treated with kindness by the front desk staff then chatted with Trey who helped me come up with a design to cover up what I had by giving me a color inked tattoo. This place is very clean with private rooms for each artist. Trey emailed me after care instructions. I will be telling my friends about this tattoo parlor.

Experiencia negativa: It’s interesting you can’t leave a review on their Facebook. Red flags. They stated they would honor my deposit after Covid (which is the reason my appointment was canceled) and since the artist I was scheduled with moved away during Covid. When I called to schedule for something, they stated that the deposit had “expired”. Even though the agreement I signed mentions nothing about a deposit “expiring”. I still have it. There are way better, reputable, tattoo businesses in the area. Don’t spend your money somewhere where they don’t care about you as a customer but only the money you bring.

Aaron was great to work with very kind and understanding of the importance my tattoo has for me and the meaning. Even though it small and simple the detail work great and it beauty is incredible. Experiencia fantástica: Came in around 5:45 for a walk in, Lady’s at the front desk were extremely friendly and professional. Within seconds of walking in I was talking to an artist (Aaron) and this dude has some experience. Ended up letting me know i could go drop my dad off so he didn’t have to sit and wait and then come back and we could knock it out same day. The whole experience was professional and not to mention extremely pleasant. Aaron has the hand of a god and we had some good laughs and enjoyable conversations, Overall I am very pleased with the outcome. Definitely will be returning for more art. Experiencia negativa: I would give 0 stars if there was an option. I called 1 week in advance, was told not to book an appt and come as a walk-in but I would be written down since what I wanted was small and with one other person. Called day of 2 hours ahead to be respectful of their time and possible busyness and was told to come in for 1:15. Came in 15 min early and was told it would be a 1-2 hour wait…confusing cause I called ahead and was told when to come but ok….and the assistant who was rude told me to take up time walking around Target…fine. Did not get a call until 6:14pm, 5 HOURS later. DONT PROMOTE WALK INS IF YOU CANT DO THEM!

Experiencia fantástica: Searched for a tattoo shop not far from my home and came Sandbridge. I did the online consultation and went in and met with Aaron. We talked about what I was looking for to include a touch up and cover up. It took three sessions for the completion of the work, but I couldn't have been more satisfied. I also took my son to get a touch up and then he went back on his own to get another one done. Very pleaded with Sandbridge and their team of artist!

Experiencia negativa: We came in today to get a tattoo for my husband (line all the way across his ankle) and our experience had a lot of red flags and we should have left before anything was tattooed. We had Aaron and he used a blue ballpoint pen to draw out the line around my husbands ankle with a piece of tape, said that this was a challenging tattoo, and had an unsteady hand. The line was not even across and looked as if someone had drawn it on there with a Sharpie. We were given nearly no aftercare instructions until we asked and it was not from the artist. We will need to go to a trusted tattoo artist back home to get it fixed and I would not recommend this studio due to negligence in check-in/ aftercare instructions as well as our poor experience getting this tattoo.

Experiencia positiva: I got my first tattoo here, loved it. My artist was great, and everything about the facility was great. It was very clean, employees were kind, and it felt like a great atmosphere. However, a few months after my tattoo I learned the owner was running for a position in congress, and I learned of his political standpoint on things. I will not go much further with this, but with all this being said, I do not think I will be returning to sandbridge tattoo for any of my tattoos.

Experiencia fantástica: I truly cannot recommend Sandbridge Tattoo highly enough. Between myself and two family members, they’ve done 8 of our tattoos. The studio itself is gorgeous and clean, with the best refreshing but cozy vibes. We always feel like family there! They’ve even sent me a birthday card in the mail in years past. I’ve been going to Stan for 5 years for my work; his lines are so crisp and clean, and stay that way. That being said, though, you’re in wonderful hands no matter who you see at ST. They’re a local, family-owned shop, and they take of everyone who walks through their door.

Experiencia fantástica: Went here to go see Trey and get a very sentimental tattoo done with the family and he was able to squeeze all 4 of us in within a few day notice and did a really good job with the ink, the lines are nice and clean. Super accommodating with having to work around current tattoos to give me another fantastic piece. Cannot recommend enough!** Great experience all around. Stan did amazing with my tattoo and we’re already working together for another one. Staff was super polite and professional. Space was clean and comfortable. Price was fair and reasonable. Highly recommend if you plan on getting a tattoo.

Some shops can be intimidating especially for first time and this place is so welcoming and open. My artist Stan did wonderful, he has great colored work in his portfolio. Experiencia fantástica: From the initial consultation until actually getting the tattoo done Sandbridge staff were amazing. The receptionist was very polite told me what I needed to do and asked what I was interested in she then set me up with an artist who took my idea and put his touch to it. My tattoo was to remember my Dad who got me into diving and to mark my 30th year as a diver. I couldn't think of a better way to honor those 2 things. My artist Brendan was great, he's been in the business for a while and has some amazing photos of his work. The studios are very clean well lit and comfortable. I enjoyed it and can't wait to go back.

Helping people through their hardest times means a lot and she was able to capture exactly what we had talked about and drew it out for me. It’s more than I could’ve imagined. Experiencia fantástica: When I called for my appointment it was scheduled out a few months. I was impatient the whole time but I knew the artist(mandi) would be worth the wait. I got two tattoos done with her and I’m very pleased with both of them. I will be returning for her again and she is also a Star Wars fan so I know I’ll be back for my next Star Wars piece! 10/10.
