Fantastic experience: First of all if you can get past Gator you’re entering into probably the most friendliest tattoo shops on the island. I’ve gotten many tattoos at multiple shops and I’ve never experienced one with the friendliest staff as I do at Sacred Art Tattoo. I mean every one just greets you like we’re in some kind of sorority. (Since we all love tattoos than I guess we are.) Owner Jay is one of a kind. Asked if he could fix one of my tattoo’s that a previous artist did and didn’t even hesitate and it came out better than I could even imagine. He’s now working on my dragon koi and it is coming out awesome! Wish I found this shop years ago. If your looking for a tattoo shop I promise you you will not be disappointed!

Matt was able to take my mishmash of inspo pics and ideas and turn it into exactly what I was hoping for! Aftercare was explained in very plain and simple, easy to remember instructions.

Negative experience: I was visiting and a group of friends and I decided to get a tattoo. I was supposed to get a Shaka tattoo but the hand is disproportionated. Pretty sure the dude was tweakin... it was hard to tell at first given it was on my leg upside down until I took a pic of it.

Negative experience: Turned us down. Said daughter was too young. Had to be 17, however legal age in Hawaii is 14. Went to Aloha tattoo in the Hilton Hawiian Villiage instead. They did a great job. Sacred art lost 3 clients today.

Fantastic experience: Had a last minute booking with, Jay, he was super cool to have and did a phenomenal job with the ink. I didnt give him an easy task for the size piece I had wanted but he was a trooper to get it done in one session before my flights. Shop environment was nice and honestly quite relaxing. Definitely recommend this place and the artists

Negative experience: $200 for a nickel size tattoo, no shading, no color is absolutely absurd my hometown artist is a literal certified ink master and charges less per hour Save your money it’s a tourist trap, I guess overall art work is good. Dan is wonderful and the only reason for the second star ⭐️

Even though we were getting smaller flash, they didn’t make us feel rushed. They spent time making sure each of our pieces felt customized. Plus, their artwork is fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Went there hoping to get something even remotely similar to my inspo and Brags just blew it out of the water. The entire experience, start to finish, was incredible and I am so bummed I don’t live around here so I can come back again. He’s a really gifted artist and uses a feather light hand so you can trust him completely. The shop itself is also super welcoming and very very clean.

Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo here while on vacation in Hawaii! Of course I had to commemorate my trip with the plumeria flower. Matt did a great job and was patient with me even though I was nervous for my first tattoo. He was also light handed which was nice so it didn’t hurt too bad the price was reasonable too especially given the location in a tourist area… overall I was very pleased with the results. The photo is after 2 weeks so it’s mostly healed.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish with piercer; Maddie! I came in initially to get my jewelry swapped on my Tragus piercing and loved how professional and knowledgeable she was. I was so impressed that I brought my daughter back the next day to get her third holes in her ear lobes and I got my Helix re-pierced twice. It’s safe to say Maddie was a dream to work with.. she made us both feel very comfortable and at ease, not to mention our piercings look amazing! Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I got cute stamp tattoos from Nate and Jarred and that were super fast and efficient and were able to change things like design and size with no problem whatsoever. The shop is so decorated and clean and all the employees treat you like family the whole time you’re in there. I contacted the studio and Brianna was very helpful in suggesting the right artist for what I wanted done. I met my artist Tweedy and she carefully listened to what I had in mind and looked carefully at the place I wanted my tattoo. She offered suggestions and then set about designing the art. She got it right the first time. Tweedy was a joy to work with. She was friendly, gentle and very detailed in her work. It was a fabulous experience and I love my tattoo!
