Fantastic experience: I contacted Emily the piercer at this tattoo studio the night before I went to get a jewelry fixed and two conch piercings and she easily told me her availability for the next day! I walked in and was in and out within an hour. She's absolutely informative and great at what she does - she made me feel so comfortable and made sure everything was precise and looking okay before and after piercing my ears. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone interested in piercings of all kinds in the Davie area

Negative experience: I rarely write Google reviews, but when I do think it is important to, I will write one. That is why I am writing this one. These reviews help to improve the quality of service and their service needs help badly. I am writing this review because if this experience happens to someone else, know you are not the only one. This was my experience. I have screenshots of all I am saying here to prove the validity (truth) of it. I sought out Double Cross Tattoo because I read the great reviews and feedback and I thought it would be a wonderful place for me to get my ears pierced. I thought I would have a good experience too, like these Google reviews apparently state, but I did not. I contacted Tat2Josh (Instagram name of Double Cross Tattoo's owner) because I wanted to get my ears pierced after I got off work. I was told during the week Jeff, their piercer is there until 10 PM EST, and I would not have to schedule an appointment. Mind you, I wanted to schedule an appointment, but I was assured by Josh, the owner, I did not need to. I live 35 minutes from this tattoo shop in Davie, FL so I believed what I was told by Josh, the owner, and I just drove there with no appointment. Come to find out, when I got there, Jeff was not at the tattoo shop to do the piercing. He had left for the day. No piercer was there at all. A waste of my time and gas. When I told Tat2Josh this on Instagram with a new message, he said he was sorry, but never offered to make it right. How could he have made it right, maybe by setting up me an appointment to get my ears pierced with a piercer who actually does want to work and doesn't leave early, maybe reducing the price a little for the inconvenience by at least 20 percent for my ears piercing, things like this. Josh, did none of the above. You know what Josh did, after this experience, he just blocked on Instagram and never made it right. I ended up having to wait a week after this, driving to another shop an hour from where I live in Miami, FL to get my ears pierced. Now mind you, I had a special occasion, I was going to and this was something I had planned for and wanted for that occasion. My ears piercing was for that special occasion. Well I did that special occasion without the ear piercing. All the other women wearing their beautiful dangling earrings with pierced ears and me not able to, because of this experience. I am just saying this because Josh, Jeff, and the whole tattoo shop could have done a much better job. To block someone on Instagram for speaking up about what you did wrong here is very immature and unprofessional, but I gathered Josh did this because he knew what he did was wrong and didn't want me to discuss it with anyone else. The truth is, it is being discussed now on Google on this review for the public to read at any time, so blocking me was ridiculous, because the information is now out there. The right thing to do was what I said above, but when you don't have professional standards, when it comes to appeasing clients you did wrong and you don't genuinely care about the well-being or best interest of your clients, like me for example, this happens. I don't want this to happen to anyone else, so that is why I have voiced my concerns and feedback. Double Cross Tattoo double crossed me (blocked and ignored) when I voiced my concerns about all of this, and I hope you don't experience the same. The name suits my experience. My advice to Double Cross Tattoo is to do better to prevent situations like this in the future. Take ownership and accountability for yourselves, setup ear piercing appointments, and if the person who is piercing leaves early, let your client know in advance. Don't leave your clients hanging and waste their gas and time. Don't be disrespectful. You do the right things, and you will see a world of a difference and reviews like mine, would not have to happen.

Fantastic experience: This was my first tattoo and they made sure I knew all the ins and outs about it before hand. The shop was very clean and well organized. The service was outstanding. I was a walk in around 8 at night and the service was top notch. It was quick and fast but also very well done. They provided me with instructions on how to take care of the tattoo following the appointment. They also carried the products that I would need to take care of it afterwards. I highly recommend this place to anyone getting their first tattoo or any tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Went to Double Cross really on a whim and without a true plan. Edric went above and beyond designing a tattoo that I will forever love. Was a cover up of a couple hearts that were a bad judgement call. But Edric took the time to get to know me and designed my tattoo to match my personality. He is also a bit of a perfectionist with a lot of attention to detail. Have already referred friends who are equally as happy. Can not give him enough praise! Thank you, Edric!! In addition, took my son to get his first tattoo (by Josh) and now his second by Edric. True talent!

She sterilized my jewelry and explained the process. Everything was very clean. She double checked where I wanted my piercing. Fantastic experience: I had an idea in my head of a poppy flower tattoo for my arm ever since back packing through Spain, but could not find a artist to capture it. I searched for photo references, etc. I initially settled on a photo because it was pretty but Peter sat with me, heard my ideas, looked at the picture references I showed him, and drew an original of exactly what my mind had pictured. He was so polite, patient, and really took the time to make sure I got a tattoo I loved. This is my second tattoo by him and my first one I love just as much. I will never use another tattoo artist. Fantastic experience: I took both my daughters to get their piercings done. For my 16 year old birthday she got her navel and my 14 year old her cartilage. Emily was absolutely amazing! She truly gave us the best piercing experience. I’ve taken my girls elsewhere before where they have been rude and gotten annoyed for my daughters being scared and wanting me to hold their hand. On the contrary, Emily made my girls and me as the mom feel at ease. Talked us through the whole procedure and explained everything before she did it. Fantastic experience: Believe all the good reviews about their piercer Emily because SHES AMAZING. I went to her to get my belly button pierced and she walked me through everything to make me feel more comfortable. She measured where the piercing would go, cleaned her hands thoroughly, and even did a practice run of piercing me but without the needle so I knew what to expect. Most importantly, she pierced my naval straight. Third time’s definitely the charm because I took my previous ones out for being crooked (due to a different piercer). They also have a wide variety of beautiful jewelry options. Overall 10/10 experience and i’ll be recommending this place to anyone interested.

I got my middle brow (clown brow) eyebrows pierced and my nipples repierced by Emily and she was so kind. she marked my piercings and made sure I was okay with them before we continued and had such a positive attitude the whole time. she did an exceptional job of making sure I was okay with the placing and making sure I was ready before piercing. she’s very precise with her markings and very comforting. I even got to ask her questions that didn’t pertain to my piercings I was getting and she happily answered them. Emily did an amazing job making sure I got exactly what I wanted and i’m so glad I ended up coming here. I don’t feel basically ANY pain from my piercings and they’re already doing so well, no irritation or redness whatsoever. I usually bleed when I get pierced but I didn’t bleed at all on my eyebrows and my nipples bled maybe half a drop. I am seriously just in shock at how well these piercings were done!!!! I will definitely be coming back to Emily for any of my piercings!!!!

Negative experience: Rude and disrespectful!!! The old location on Broward Boulevard everyone was so kind very professional. The new Davie location has new crew and wow. Horrible and utterly disrespectful.. I wouldn’t let them touch my dog with a fifty foot pole!

What you get on your skin is forever. Do it right & go to Double Cross. Service is amazing, everyone is nice. Just top notch all around. I've had more work than just the two shown but these two are special because they are both cover-ups!! Yup, I had some pretty awful ink & my guy Peter Photello put some art over the existing trash I had originally.. If I could rate it 10 star's, I would.

I decide one night to go to a random tattoo shop (with good reviews), trust a random artist and get a tattoo I decided on at the shop, and it couldn’t have gone better. I luckily landed in the hands of Rafael Fuentes who looked at a picture of a tattoo idea I had on my phone and gave me artwork I get to stare at for the rest of my life on my forearm. Fantastic experience: Decided to finally get my ears the second piercing I've been thinking of getting and found this spot via Google. They all were very nice and welcoming. Jeff ( the piercing guy) was so cool and calming. He took great care of me and my nerves for needles lol 5/5 recommend!!
