Fantastic experience: Mr. Neptune, one of the greatest if not the greatest tattoo artist in the south east United States. Multi talented artist from the canvas to the body. Can look at any art and says ."I can definitely make that pop and look better. Hands down the "best " in the tattoo industry. Remember you get what you pay for. Don't be cheap. Negative experience: Visiting Atlanta from Chicago, my partner and I decided to be spontaneous and get SMALL matching tattoos. As we paid our 50 deposit, and described in great detail what we wanted for an appointment several days away, we were extremely excited. Expecting to pay at the very least 100 a piece for the miniature tattoos because the website required a starting price of 100. To say that we we were in complete and utter shock would simply be an understatement. Upon arrival, our would be tattoo artist Neptune, then explained that our MINI matching tattoos would be 200 hundred dollars A PIECE. It was at this moment that we realized why the parking lot and inside of the shop were completely empty. The deposit is definitely a trick to lure you in to tell you an insane amount that you would never pay for this particular tattoo, anywhere. They continuously make deposit money without ever having to lift a finger. Definitely do not recommend. Don’t waste your time!

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo with Maunii and I had such a safe first experience. She was very patient and kind with me and ensured that I was comfortable. Not only is the tattoo gorgeous, she gave me a touch-up with no charge because I couldn’t finish it due to the pain. She’s so professional and passionate about her job that I asked her how long I should extend my stem and her recommended length looked absolutely perfect. It really was the icing on the cake. If she lived closer, I wouldn’t let anyone else tattoo me except her.

Negative experience: If i could give a tattoo artist a zero and not the business i would. Stay clear from booking with mauni. She is extremely unprofessional double booked me and then expected for me to wait two hours. Rescheduled for the next day and cancelled. Said she’d give me my deposit and 4 days passed with no deposit but was posting that she was taking clients. Tried again to get my deposit back and reschedule and no response from her. Total of a week to get my money back.

Fantastic experience: I got tatted 2 weeks ago with Disciple, she is amazingggg! My tattoo is so crisp, the lines are so clean. My tattoo has healed so beautifully. And it’s absolutely perfect. It was the most comfortable experience. I have a high pain tolerance, so she was able to get through it quickly and efficiently. I’ve seen her tat friends of mine, and her work is always on point. High attention to detail. Grateful to have her as an artist!

Fantastic experience: All of the artists at Black Ink ATL are amazing but Ryann did my tattoo and calling it phenomenal would be an understatement. This was my first tattoo and Ryann walked me through her ideas which ended up being amazing and she incorporated my ideas with hers and produced a tattoo that I truly couldn’t be happier with. She was very respectful, communicative, personable, and nice, and I’m glad to have had her do my first tattoo. Whenever I get another one, I will absolutely come back and have Ryann do it!

Fantastic experience: In December I visited Black Ink Atlanta as I was visiting family and I wanted a tattoo. I walked in and was greeted and taken back to see Maunii. She was friendly and good and made me feel comfortable. Before I left Atlanta I wanted another tattoo. I messaged Maunii to see if she was available. She said she was. I sent her what i wanted as it was a memorial of my late husband. She asked can she put her own spin on it. I said sure. I left Atlanta with two new tattoos in December. I was very happy and pleased with Maunii work, i told her I will be back. In April i decided to visit Atl again and messaged Maunii that Im coming back and I wanted another tattoo. I showed her what I wanted. When I arrived ATL went to Maunii and she exceuted my tattoo. I eft there happy and pleased again. I told her whenever I visit ATL I will be coming to her to get a tattoo. She has an international client for life

Negative experience: Made an appointment with Quoia to get a peircing. She didn’t show up and gave me both attitude and excuses once I finally got in touch. Please find someone more professional. She’s not the one if that’s of interest to you.

Fantastic experience: Book with Ryann! Ryann was my tattoo artist and she was fantastic! She was very professional and patient with me, especially given that I was nervous and it took a while for me to decide on the final design. She gave me great creative options for my cover-up and ultimately did a high quality tattoo. I would absolutely go to her again!

Negative experience: I do not recommend patronizing Black Ink Tattoo ATL due to their unprofessional business practices and lack of integrity. After $150 spent, I have no tattoo and no refund of the $100 deposit I was promised after my artist, Que, cancelled my appointment due to his fractured wrist. On Fri April 8th, I paid $50 to book a Zoom consultation with Que for Thurs April 14th. Having received no confirmation from Black Ink Tattoo prior to the appointment, I emailed the shop on Wed April 13th to confirm and request a Zoom link. I received no response, in fact, the email bounced back. An hour before my April 14th Zoom consultation, I called the shop only to find out that my tattoo artist had an issue with his tooth and wouldn't be able to attend. The artist did call me to apologize later that day. Not ideal, but I appreciated him calling me back. After I spoke with Que, I paid $100 and booked an appointment with him for Friday April 29th. On Wednesday April 20th, Que called to cancel my tattoo appointment because he fractured his left wrist. I immediately called Rich, the Black Ink Tattoo shop owner on Wed April 20th to let him know that Que cancelled my appointment and would be unable to complete the work. Rich took my name and email via text and promised that I would receive the refund within 10 business days. That was almost a month ago. As of May 13th, the refund has not been processed. Rich stopped responding to my texts and phone calls regarding the refund. At this point, I'm going to chalk this experience up for a loss, but I will not do business with Black Ink Tattoo ATL again and will be sure to share this experience with those in my circle.

Positive experience: Experience was one of the most unforgettable!!!Staff was welcoming and friendly. Ryan and Quoia was both the most friendly free spirit ladies have meant in a long time. Negative experience: First off I was excited to come due to the whole black ink franchise , As soon as we walked in the door somebody greeted us with a beer in their hand and I was like I don’t want no drunk person doing my tattoo it was so unprofessional we turned around and walked out they only had two tattoo artist available In addition the front receptionist guy with all the chains on his neck was on the phone the whole time and never even acknowledge us someone behind him with the beer Tall in their hand had to walk up and greet us Never been to a business where the tattoo artist had a beer in their hand and was ready to do a tattoo
