Negative experience: I had the WORST EXPERIENCE.The piercer extremely unsanitary, touching things while touching me while wearing the same gloves .The guy was clearly high , couldn’t concentrate on me I was getting upper chest dermal he made a big hole and left it for 10- 15 minutes open with me bleeding .He almost passed out .He couldn’t hold a conversation.Made no sense .My friend , and my sister witnessed everything’ he was extremely rude and seemed annoyed blamed me by saying I was moving a lot which was un true.I now have to go to the doctors and get it removed .

Fantastic experience: Riah pierced me today and she was awesome. Clean and made me feel comfortable. I did my Helix and lobes. Helix barely hurt. Anytime you come here I would recommend her.

Negative experience: In 2023 I had my nose pierced by a Black male he was super great, super quick barely felt it. This year Feb 16th I had my naval pierced by a black female named Riah and she was just rude, she told my boyfriend he couldn’t record and said “she probably wouldn’t want personal convos on her video” indicating that I myself wouldn’t want personal conversations but I didn’t mind because it’s my boyfriend and my cellular device. Not sure why she had the audacity to tell MY boyfriend he couldn’t record… and she didn’t say “I don’t give consent to be on video” she was indicating that I myself didn’t wanna be filmed which is unacceptable… but overall my piercing is healing well no redness or anything. I just didn’t accept the attitude.

Fantastic experience: Came in nervous, left branded—in the best way possible. From the moment I walked in, the shop was clean, welcoming, and didn’t have that weird “judging your tattoo ideas silently” energy some places do. The artists were professional, hilarious, and somehow both chill and locked-in like surgeons. My artist listened to what I wanted, improved it (without crushing my soul), and absolutely crushed the execution. Lines are clean, shading is flawless, and this tattoo healed better than most of my emotional wounds. If you’re looking for a shop that takes the art seriously but doesn’t take itself too seriously, this is the place. I came for one tattoo and now I’m mentally budgeting for the next three. 10/10. Would gladly let them stab me again.

Fantastic experience: Over the years, Living Art Tattoo has become such a special place for me. I got multiple piercings there and even my very first tattoo after moving to the Springs. One of my favorite memories is when my college friends and I would spontaneously decide to go get piercings together, it was always such a fun, unforgettable time. For many of my friends, it was their first piercing, and being there to support each other and make those memories together made the experience even more meaningful!

Negative experience: I came in for a very simple service, which were my double lobe piercings, and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. :/ I was pierced by an apprentice who was not supervised, which I later learned is legally required in Colorado. After learning that, it made me feel uncomfortable about this whole thing. I was also pretty nervous, (it’s been a while since I’ve gotten a piercing) and while the piercer was polite, the overall vibe made my experience feel awkward rather than supportive or reassuring. The piercings ended up uneven, and I was given butterfly backs. I later noticed in a response from the owner to another review that this shop offers flat backs at no extra charge, which makes it frustrating that butterfly backs were used in the first place. I feel like that should just be standard procedure for fresh piercings. My hair was already snagging on them as I was walking out, and sleeping was very uncomfortable. Because of pain and concern, I went to another shop the next day. The piercer there said they were done at a very odd angle and changed them to flat backs immediately. I’ve been cleaning them properly, but they’re still very sore, and I had to spend additional money to fix something that should’ve been done correctly from the start. I’ve tried to give this shop multiple chances, and unfortunately I’ve had some kind of issue each time. Piercings, even basic ones, should be done with proper supervision, technique, and care, and I don’t feel that standard is met here.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gotten both tattoos and piercings from living arts and I have to say that it’s a very friendly experience. I also got my first ever tattoo at living arts and that was almost ten years ago and it still looks brand new. The artists are great to work with and very professional. 10/10 would recommend you to get a tattoo or piercing at living arts

My first ever tattoo was done with her and I couldn’t have had a better experience, the entire team is super kind and welcoming, they all make me feel super special when coming in for a tattoo or piercing! The detail I see on the tattoos my friends have is super desirable and I’m a bit jelly it’s been so long since I was inked . ALL of my piercings but one have been done by the same piercer (Sanita) she is so cool makes you feel comfortable during your piercing and it always looks so fricking good, I’ve always worked with Chris when I went to get a change out he was super cool good vibes and also made me feel comfortable. This place is just full of fun vibes, where you can be who you are and feel free in your own body !! I always recommend Sanita , she’s been my piercer for two years now a little over. Negative experience: I’ve come here a couple times. And I really loved it, the people were nice. It was all good vibes, but me and my mom came in to get dimple piercings. The piercers name was Chris, really funny guy, makes getting the piercing easy. We both got our piercings and later that night both me and my mom’s piercings broke on one side with zero effort. The flat back part of the piercing broke off and we both swallowed them, they closed on us and I’m pretty sure the metal is not supposed to break that easily. We had to go to a different shop to get our piercings done again because I was worried if we came back, it would have happened again or they would have charged us and I wasn’t gonna risk wasting anymore money and I’m pretty sure you can’t get refunds on it. So we will not be coming back to this location. I only wish I had looked at the reviews first I could have saved a lot of money and a lot of time. So to anyone out there, please read the reviews first before you do anything especially the bad ones! It could save you so much money and time!

Negative experience: Ive been pierced here several times, so have my friends. Even tattooed, however we thought we were made to be the issue so we went back. Their main piercer pierced my third eye and used the wrong jewelry which lead to it completely rejecting and it being an ugly scar, my friend got her snake eyes done by the same piercer (big red flag he even does those, a safe piercer would refuse the service and educate) and she went back in cause it had fallen out and she needed help repiercing it. All he did was trying to shove the jewelry back in and was causing her so much pain she was crying. I just had a friend recently get the simplest piercing, his lobes, and they are using butterfly backing!!! Do your research before getting pierced. Just cause it’s $30 here doesn’t mean it’s good quality anything. Spend the extra $10-$20 and go somewhere else reputable. Ive had to spend money getting pierced else where cause oh how my piercings healed from here. Cheap isnt quality and that’s extremely evident here.

Negative experience: She refused to reschedule me and said it was going to take all day for a Palm size cover up. Could not do the original cover up I wanted and refused to to give me my refund she said it paid for the drawing she came up with that I never saw. Me at of all the years I've been tattooed every artis has always worked with me. For a Palm sized cover up she wanted 500, on top of telling me that if she were to go back and revisit her work she would charge me More. And only does two sessions a day poor customer service. IV never had this problem before.

Fantastic experience: I came to this shop on a whim, they were open, I wanted tatted and they had good reviews….since then I’ve gotten 4 tats from Mark and a piercing from Chris!! They are both very wonderful and very welcoming! I’m very satisfied with the work I’ve had done by them and will 100% be spending more $$ with those two! I can’t speak for the other workers as I haven’t had many interactions with them.

Negative experience: i got my monroe done a few days ago, they gave me too short of a bar, kept letting the jewelry slip out of his hands, the piercer was kind of rude aswell. definitely do not get a piercing done here, went to another shop to get a longer bar and was told the guy pierced it crooked..

Negative experience: I got a labret piercing. Lower left. The piercer offered me a hoop or stud.. so of course I assume it’s okay to use either so of course I choose the hoop cause that’s what I want in the long run. I then see online and am told by others that it’s a Huge no no to do that. So I went back and I got a bar.. keep in mind fresh piercing just got last night.. the bar now has completely disappeared on the inside of my lip.. I then message the living arts on instagram and I don’t know whose in charge of that but they need an attitude adjustment or learn How to de with customers. I was told he was gonna pass it on to the owner and then said he wasn’t gonna pass my info along. Said he wasn’t going to burden the owner with my stuff. He said I’m no longer welcome. All I wanted was to talk to the owner.. they also have a “volunteer” who has access to our info! Doesn’t even work for them! Had access to names, phone number, email, address.

Fantastic experience: got tattooed by alicia last week. i was incredibly nervous at first but she was so so sweet those nerves went away quick. she has such a light hand i barely felt most of the tattoo!
