STUDIO 801 TATTOO

Negative experience: my tattoo is a few years old now, but has healed terribly. the circles on my tattoo were placed too close together and now they’ve merged together, aswell as the spikes all looking completely different. i should’ve left a review a lot sooner but honestly i really dislike this tattoo now and the way it looks!.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Did a tribute tattoo for my Dad. Perfect. Next time I'm in New Zealand, I'll be back.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were in Hamilton last week. At first, we went to a different tattoo studio and the vibe was wrong for us. We left. I randomly chose this tattoo studio based on reviews. Hunter worked on my husband’’s tattoo. Hunter is a truly gifted and hardworking artist. It was done so beautifully ,with prayer, love, and raw talent that I had to go back for my first tattoo. I just love it so much. Hunter is the embodiment of the spirit of this beautiful land and he shares that through this beautiful work. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo done here at studio 801 and they were very professional and I love my tattoo I would get more tattoos done there at there studio.

Negative experience: Walked in to enquire about a tattoo and the guy sitting at the reception didn’t acknowledge that I was there he just sat there on the iPad watching videos. I was there for about 5 minutes and tried to get his attention and nothing so I walked out. Poor communication guys you just lost money

Negative experience: Honestly so gutted with my experience. They weren't overly friendly when I first went in but didn't think much of it. But 3 months later and my tatoos look terrible. I tried for a month to book in to get them touched up but they were so hard to deal with over Facebook and it really felt like they couldnt care less (but they were happy to book my initial tatoo in easy as) Unfortunately now, it's been more than 3 months so it's outside of their 3 month free touch up. I don't think I'd even want to go back there to touch it up so now I'm having to pay a new artist to just about redo them. Really wish I had a better experience but instead it was a huge waste of my money.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 studio. Amazing work love my piece done by Toa. He happily tweaked a piece he designed to fit around my other tattoos and it was executed perfectly. Was expecting 10/10 pain on the neck but overall pain was about 5/10. Thank you so much ❤️ will be back for more. Will be recommending 801 studios to everyone I know wanting a fresh piece done ✌️

All in all the environment, conversation and excellent work will have me only coming to studio 801 for my work, I truly appreciate you Hunter, stay safe and keep up the hard work.
