Positive experience: My friend and I got our noses pierced at fortis a couple of months ago. The service was incredible - the girl was lovely, knowledgeable and professional. She explained everything during the process and aftercare. The only problem is that both of our noses didn’t heal (become angry, red and infected) until we changed the jewellery to that from another piercing shop. So I’d recommend not using their jewellery and taking your own with you.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! I had Zia for some flash designs she was 10/10 such a vibe, so welcoming, easy to talk to and gave me such a great in-depth guide on how to take care of my new tats. All the other artists seemed so lovely too, couldn’t recommend more.

My partner and I got a tattoo there aswell as he patched up an older tattoo of mine never been so happy and never seen someone as passionate as him! Would give a bloody 10star. Kapai my bro!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a pre-booked session with Tristan. His work is amazing. The team are friendly, knowledgeable and the studio is beautiful with a great atmosphere. It was easy to tell the team were happy to be there, customers treated very well and did not feel the 'toxic' vibe I have experienced in some other Hamilton studios. Hygiene practice top notch!

Negative experience: Awful, got my nose pierced here, ended up getting stuck in my nose and had to go to Keen on piercings to get it cut out

Fantastic experience: My experience getting my belly button pierced last week was awesome the staff were so friendly and helpful and answered all questions and explained about looking after my piercing and getting it done awesome as I found the staff amazing and I had no problems there at all really happy and comfortable business to be in and the staffs vibes are the bomb I would so go back there and get more piercings soon and recommend others to go to this shop to they are straight awesome

Wolf did an amazing job on my manaia I couldn't be happier. Cost..... fantastic low prices considering the time and effort that goes into each piece. I highly recommend this studio. They will answer all your questions quickly and efficiently via message or in person. I will be going back for another tat.

Negative experience: Went and got a piercing done. It was crooked. Had to take it out and have it redone. The bars they used were too short. Came in the next day because the swelling had taken over the bars. They didn't have any correct sized ones in stock. Their solution? Stretch a day old piercing to fit the next gauge. Put two tongue bars through my lips. It was still crooked. Had to go to keen to have it fixed. Don't waste your time here, just go straight to keen. They will screw your body up here.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. They are definitely very efficient and do an amazing job! Definitely best affordable place I've been! I live in Whangarei however this is where I like to get my piercings so whenever I'm down that way I try to pop in for my next piercing.

Negative experience: Travelled from Rotorua this afternoon especially for a piercing, arrived at 3.25pm to find it was closed before the displayed closing time, the worker was in the back room, wasted my time & petrol. Also, 2 more potential customers arrived at Fortis just as my daughter & I were leaving.

Fantastic experience: I just got my.lip done last Wednesday and at the same time my 6yr old nephew got his ear pierced aswell..The staff at Fortis are awesome friendly people and the way they interact with customers are great..Nicole did a awesome job with keeping my nephew calm and he keep talking about her to his mum...I will definently recommend fortis to my friends and family ..
