Fantastic experience: Got my 2 year old's ears pierced. The ladies were so friendly and professional. They were so wonderful that my girl were at ease and not even nervous. They really took their time in making sure everyone was happy. The studio was super clean and hygiene was of top quality. Highly recommend

Negative experience: Store looks really cool & with some awesome things to purchase. I definitely want to visit the store again, but unfortunately, our experience trying to get my daughters tongue pierced wasn't great. We left feeling very....stupid & disappointed. I understand they said no because of the webbing under her tongue & her tongue is short. But we went round the corner to another store & they did it straight away with no mention about webbing, but they did mention her short tongue & that it would have to be done on a slight angle. Anyway, my point is I dont mind that they said no, they didn't want to do it & thats okay, but it was the condescending way in which we were spoken too that I didn't like. Felt like they were looking at us like idiots for even being there asking for a service like we should have known about webbing & what-not. Or maybe they thought I was lying about my daughters age because she's so quiet when strangers speak to her (severe anxiety) because when she said 14 very very quietly, they gave each other a "look" & said "yeah so thats a no" about 3 or 4 times that phrase was said & it was just rude. I had multiple things for proof of age for her if they had asked for some sort of confirmation & also my own drivers license. We also drove 2 hours away from our home town for an outing for her 15th birthday, passing multiple places that would have done it, because we had heard such good things about Lotz of Potz, so brought everything plus extra in case it was needed. All in all, very disappointing customer service interaction But very cool store!

Negative experience: I came in on 27th December 2024, and got my nose pierced on my right side. Within a few weeks when I was blowing my nose it fell out and had to put it back in. A month later on 26th January to get it changed in Tauranga I found out that it was pierced with the back as a triangle which is not usually used as it causes blood noses and pain which I was getting. And when I spoke to the piercing place in Tauranga they said cartilage should not be pierced with a gun but I did not get the choice of the needle when getting it pierced originally. When I got it pulled out it was painful as there was irritation but felt better afterwards getting a nose stud with the correct piercing.

Negative experience: I came in on 27th December 2024, and got my industrial pierced. I went into a piercing place back in Tauranga on 26th January to get it checked as it was not healing and moving too much even after two weeks of getting it pierced. I was then advised by them that the best option would be taking it out which I was disappointed as I paid $60 for it. The reasons they explained why I couldn’t keep it is the bar was way too long, it was not lined up correctly; and pierced where a helix is pierced not industrial, should of been suggested to get it done in my left ear as it has better anatomy for an industrial, also within a month bumps started to appear around the pierced areas. I got it re done in Tauranga and the process of getting it done was different they firstly used a measuring tool to see if I could get it done, then it was properly lined up, and when pierced used two separate needles whereas when I got it done at this place they use the same needle for the whole piercing but today found out it shouldn’t be done like that because the needle gets blunt and not hygienic.

Fantastic experience: I got my helix pierced here like a day ago. The lady who did it was super nice and respectful, sadly i didn’t catch her name. She made sure i was comfortable and was very informative about things. Everything seemed hygienic to me so that was good. She pierced my ear perfectly and i love my new piercing !:) I usually don’t cheat on my piercer but this place was great:) Yo daddy approved

Fantastic experience: I got a piercing done by the lovely Atawhai today, she was very kind and gentle. Despite having this particular piercing re-done for the third time, it did not hurt as much as the other times which just goes to show’s how good she is! Such a cool store with lots of cool things. The staff were very friendly and helpful, amazing service 10/10 recommend. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m visiting near Palmerston North

Negative experience: Me and my 2 daughter went to get piercings and my daughter got a nose piercing 3 months ago and it's not healing also the jewelry has gone black and my oldest daughter got a helix and hers is infected and my dermal never healed after it was done. Seemed complicated and after slicing my skin to fit the dermal..it needed hollow needles to make it fit, I have had a bad infection where I had to eventually rip the dermal out as it was so painful for months also the cost online and in store said 70 but she charged me 90

Negative experience: I went to lots of pots for my hydro gear. The old man in there was rude. And when I was there they were raided and the police piled in. A few years ago but apparently they are watching this place all day long! Stay away!

Negative experience: My friend and I walked in there just trying to get a septum piercing. The women at the counter just stared at us and made us feel uncomfortable. She had a bad attitude, never smiled and just felt grumpy. We don’t want to go back there when she’s working.

Positive experience: It's alright but the piercing studio is unsanitary compared to other places. The piercer didnt wash or sanitise her hands, only put gloves on. At least they put gloves on I guess.
