Fantastic experience: Had waited a long time for this tattoo and after a lot of research my daughter found Kerri. From the moment I walked in I felt totally at ease just a lovely group of girls. Then I met Kerri who took me through the whole process. Three hrs later she was finished never seen it going in as it was just like sitting with a friend talking away. To say I was happy with her work is an understatement. It was always a concern that an artist would do a really good pomeranian and not my girl. Believe me everyone who knew Rolo are as taken a back as I was when I seen it. Kerri has captured the very essence of her soul. For this thankyou so much Kerri

Emma has been absolutely incredible from my very first enquiry right through to the end of both my appointments. It's clear when you walk in the door that all of the team here have alot of pride in the studio. It's bright, super clean and the atmosphere the artists create is super welcoming and genuine. I honestly can't fault the experience and will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Charlotte is brilliant. This was my 2nd, 3rd and 4th tattoo from her and the experience was second to none. I was made feel completely comfortable and at ease. I knew I was in good hands because I know her work but further to that it's just a great atmosphere in the space. The plants give it such a homey feel plus you have no end of beautiful artwork to look at while distracting yourself from the tattoo. Charlotte is so lovely and friendly, our chats throughout the day kept me in good spirits through a long slog. Some woman all around. Update: Just picked up another piece but from Brooklyn (Bittersweet) this time. Lovely experience super quick and the work is healing perfectly. Really fairly priced and the work speaks for itself.

Fantastic experience: I have had work done by two artists here, Kirsty and Brooklyn, and they have both made me feel so at ease and all of the artists here are very friendly and welcoming. The quality of work from all of the artists here is amazing, and I have personally felt very comfortable getting more intimate areas tattooed. I would def deem this shop as a safe space and would very highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a tattoo session today with Brooklyn and it was the most amazing time! The atmosphere of the business itself is so friendly and warm, but Brooklyn is absolutely fabulous at her work. She really made my vision come to life and the overall vibe we had going through the session was so lovely, even though it was our first time meeting we had the best time just talking, I felt so at ease the whole session as I hadn’t had a tattoo in a long time, I will definitely be back again in future! I would 100% recommend both Croi Dubh and Brooklyn!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to many tattoo studios over the last 20 years but my experience here has been the best and my favorite one. Charlotte was incredibly accommodating and creative. She’s created such an amazing and calming environment in the studio. There was no raging metal music, only chill tunes and awesome camaraderie. Honestly, I was a bit sad when she said she was all done with my piece. Everyone at the shop was welcoming and I hope to be back again for any future tattoos!

Fantastic experience: Croí Dubh is a great place ✨️ Lots of talented artists in a very comfortable environment! Kirsty did a solid black mandala tattoo on my knee back in January. I was given lots of great advice for aftercare and Kirsty let me know if I needed a touch up, to just drop her a message. I booked in my touch up with her a few weeks ago but I couldn't make it due to an unavoidable situation. Kirsty was very understanding and tried to get me rebooked in sooner rather than later which I appreciated so much! So today I had my touch up and yet again, a great experience. Thanks so much Kirsty Will deffo be back (when I have more money )x

Fantastic experience: I've been to Croi Dubh twice now. Once for my first tattoo and just recently to get a vertical labret done! The space and vibes are so lovely and the whole space is just beautiful to top it off!! Everyone was very lovely. I have severe anxiety and both Kirsty, who did my amazing tattoo, and Cat, who did my super cool new piercing were so nice. I felt very at ease and not stressed about any part of either process. I am really looking forward to coming back for more tattoos and piercings! I couldn't praise my experience there enough. <3

Fantastic experience: I got a tattoo, then went back and got another one, then another one.... you can see a pattern emerging perhaps! It's lovely to go somewhere and feel totally relaxed and comfortable in your surroundings especially when you are going to be there for a while. Charlotte is just a lovely person and wonderfully talented. She takes time and precision in her designs and you dont feel like just another arm, leg etc to her. I always love the craic and the stories, and I imagine she would be respectful too if chatting wasn't your thing. Her aftercare has always been spot on and I've not had any issues with healing either. 5 stars!

Charlotte is super easy going, we had some laugh and the day sessions went by in a blip. I've had so many people ask me who did my tattoos and I don't hesitate to tell people to travel up to Charlotte from Dublin if they want the best. Fantastic experience: I’ve been tattooed here twice by Charlotte and once by Emma and couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work, the cleanliness, the customer service and the attention to detail. Charlotte spent 7 hours on my sleeve and when I couldn’t take the pain of the inner bicep we were able to move the work down to my forearm instead. My second tat was a flash design from Charlotte which turned out great and Emma’s piece is delicate black line work that always gets people’s attention.

I've only started to get tattoos as I have always felt imitated going into other tattoo shops. From messaging the girls, attending the shop, getting the tattoo and the after care, I have felt so welcomed and comfortable. The manager and her pup are so cute too! The welcoming atmosphere is so appreciated and necessary, everyone is lovely, and I always leave with beautiful new artwork and having had a better day than before I entered The new space on the Lisburn Road is even better than the previous studio with Edie and Rachael right there at reception to make you feel welcomed and looked after. Can’t recommend Croí Dubh enough if you’re looking for superb Blackwork be that delicate, botanical, nature-inspired, whimsical or BW realism, all in an inclusive and friendly environment

Fantastic experience: I’ve gotten three tattoos from artists here so far. Two from Kerri and one from Emma. Really nice studio, with friendly artists and quality artwork. When I began to feel nauseous on an extremely hot day Kerri was quick to get me to sit down and gave me some hariboes and a red bull to stop the shakes and raise sugar levels, then we got right back to it. I’m so so pleased with all of my tattoos from these two quality artists. I have previously been to other studios and artists who have made me feel either incredibly uncomfortable, creeped out, or have made me feel completely ignored when it came to my wishes. This is definitely not the case at this studio. I have always been made to feel super welcome and am listened to when it comes to the designs that I want. I would highly recommend this studio! There’s also parking available if you leave some time to get there. (Also, the little pupper at reception is the best little greeter ever!) As for the people leaving bad reviews…I genuinely don’t get it. Nothing but positive feedback for these ladies.

Fantastic experience: Have been wanting to get a tattoo for ages now and had a look on social media for a while, when I seen Kerri’s work and how real it looked I wanted to get booked in with her. Thankfully I got a cancellation and was able to get my tattoo done. Besides being an unreal tattooist, Kerri is good crack, very easy to talk to and made the 6 hours go fast. In fact from entering Croi Dubh all the girls were really dead on and very welcoming, along with their wee dog mascot ( the dog is at reception, not in the bit you get tattooed), as Kerri worked on me during the day had good crack and talked to the other staff that were there, all very easy to talk to and down to earth. Excellent outfit….if your looking a tattoo this is the place to go, like everywhere all the artists have their styles and expertise, but with their professionalism comes down to earth staff that helped put the time in. Still buzzing from getting my tattoo and all family and friends have all complemented it on its realism. Thanks Kerri for your work….Hope you and the rest of the girls get your Talor Swift tickets!!

Fantastic experience: Had my first tattoo with Charlotte back in October (yes, it’s taken me ages to write a review). It was a custom design, and I’m really happy with it. As it was my first time setting foot in a tattoo studio I was unsure what to expect, but the atmosphere in the studio is very welcoming and friendly and put me instantly at ease. I’m probably older than many people getting their first tattoo (40s) and was a little worried I’d feel awkward, but this was not the case at all. Everyone is friendly and professional, and the studio is bright and clean. So as well as having a great piece of wearable art, I enjoyed the whole experience, and can highly recommend Croí Dubh.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in twice with Charlotte now for 4 tattoos in total. My experience both times has been exceptional! Customer service from Rachael (and Edie) is always very friendly and welcoming. Charlotte has nailed the tattoo design every time and is a true professional, great craic and will always work towards something you’re 100% happy with. I would highly recommend the studio to anyone, will definitely be back!

Negative experience: Really poor and disappointing experience. Would not recommend at all. Rachael, in responce though and you failed to mention My earliest conversation with you was advising that this was my FIRST tattoo! so was not sure how it all worked! secondly when you asked for image I was advised to send you something, at that time I also confirmed that I was really unsure but would and did send you something I thought was a starting point ONLY. I also advised during early conversation that I was open to suggestions and this is why I made contact so first steps could be taken. You referred myself to Kerri and after 8 days and no acknowledgement on registered interest I once again made contact with you. You did indeed advise Kerri was out sick but also that she was now back and you would let her know I called (if not able to pick up her emails, why not set up up out of office?) During this conversation at one point (early part of phonecall I did feel you had been uptight with one of your responces. I did receive a short reply on day 9 to advise that this work was not suitable and that that Kerri now is taking NOT TAKING ON ANY MORE WORK. Clearly you had not been aware that Kerri was not taking anymore work on either! And why leave for 9 days to advise on this? Surley not 5 star customer service. I would ask why was my earliest conversation not taken into account before I was advised not suitable and artist not taking on anymore work? The style was never properly discussed and that conversation not allowed to develop! So to state style not something you did is not accurate! Again nothing clearly discussed. Again this is my first experience and as I had mentioned unsure on images but open to suggestions. Why was I just brushed of like that? I contacted you directly and yet I am at a loss why no one took a few moments to see if I could be helped before suggesting another artist. Again it was you guys who I contacted first not someone else so any referral meant little at that time. Id also sate that it took 9 days to be advised not suitable. You are indeed correct to state that I was polite to you but my words were to lighten the situation only as I was keen to get sorted and I dont recall making comments as complimentary as you said I had. After the phone call and reply on day 9 I personally felt unwelcomed and a genuine lack of interest, such so, that I contacted another artist and things thankfully have moved forward. Personaly speaking this was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend for anyone at all! So poor. The one star rating is purely based on my personal experience and I feel generous in giving, customer service does not begin in shop, it begins when a customer makes point of contact! Which I found personally extremely disappointing. (not long after this post, surprised to see Kerri is still taking clients)

Fantastic experience: Have been to Croi Dubh twice now, for three custom designed tattoos from Charlotte. The whole experience from booking to the appointment itself has been superb. She has nailed the design for all of mine, but is more than happy to work with you on the day to make sure you're totally happy with the design, size, placement and doesn't make you feel rushed at all. Her work speaks for itself, but the fine details look even better in real life, even long after they've healed. I'm so pleased with the work I've had done and will definitely be back again - an artist you can fully trust is hard to find, but you should have no concerns at all booking in with Charlotte. The studio itself is great - everyone is so friendly, the decor is really cool and brilliantly plays off against the character of the building, the temperature is comfortable and Rachael (and Edie) make you feel so welcome throughout, while also running the ship. I would highly recommend CDT and any of their artists for an enjoyable, safe experience, plenty of craic and amazing results!

Negative experience: My artist Tara Speers wrapped me with a sandwich bag at the end of my tattoo! It was definitely a sandwich bag I saw her rip it apart, I know the difference between cling film and a tescos sandwich bag!

Fantastic experience: 5 stars isn't enough. Kerri designed and customised a back piece for me from some very rough ideas I had, I was a little anxious to see the design on the day as I wasn't sure if we where on the same page and the tattoo holds a lot of personal meaning. I had zero need to worry, not only did Kerris design say everything I wanted it to, the art work far exceeded anything I could have imagined. Super layed back atmosphere, great craic and artistry that will for sure blow your mind, go see Kerri. ✌️❤️

Fantastic experience: I went with my husband while he got tattooed by Charlotte. While I watched him get tattooed I also went to the reception to be greeted by Rachael and her gorgeous assistant Edie (cutest dog ever!) Rachael not only answered emails for clients but chatted to me the whole time I was there which made me feel very welcome. My husband's tattoo was an incredible piece of work and has since been back for another. Everything you need in one shop: outstanding tattoos with a great range of artists to choose from, crack with a friendly receptionist, cheesy hits on repeat and a cosy place to wait

Fantastic experience: I have been tattooed in 6 different Tattoo shops and I can say that Croí Dubh is most welcoming and relaxed shop I have been to. I'd go as far to say this would be the perfect place to get your first tattoo, they even have a puppy to put you at ease in the reception area. I have now been tattooed by Kerri 3 times and have a 4th session booked, she is a phenomenal artist. She was able to turn my vision into amazing tattoos linking into previous work by other artists, I have never had so many compliments on my tattoos. She works very efficiently while chatting throughout which makes the day go quicker. You won't find better work in the UK/Ire at her daily rate. Her instagram speaks for itself - kerriosullivan_tattoos Parking is pretty easy on streets around the corner from the shop, I'd advise to arrive slightly early to get a closer spot. There is a shop across the road to get any surgery supplies you may need to get you through your tattoo. Overall a great Tattoo shop with great people and good vibes.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of getting my first tattoo done by Charlotte in December. I was a bit nervous going in as I wasn't quite sure what to expect but was immediately put at ease when I stepped in the door and greeted by Edie! Everyone was so friendly and Charlotte made sure I was happy with the design and placement before getting started and kept checking in during to make sure I was ok with the pain. The studio is spotless and aftercare was explained clearly. My tattoo healed in 2 weeks without any issues - I'll definitely be back for more!

The studio is decked out with previous stencils and v funky decor which is fun to look at while being prepped Emma’s work is fantastic and she has an insane attention to detail so would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I would (and have many times) recommend any of the fantastic artists at Croi Dubh Tattoo. I have personally been tattooed twice now by Kerri and the whole process was awesome. Not only is the aesthetic of the shop itself super cool, they also have a dog that greets you at reception, what could be better?? The tattoos themselves are amazing, each artist has their own unique style so there is definitely something for everyone. I personally love Kerri’s work (good thing too since I’ve let her draw on me twice!). Her black and grey realism looks absolutely incredible, I love both of my pieces and she made the whole process painless (well not completely painless it is a tattoo after all). I can’t wait to get my next one and definitely encourage anyone thinking of getting a tattoo to check these artists out, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to get a tattoo up in Croi Dubh in January! Charlotte Lee was the artist that did it for me. I secured my appointment and filled out a form with as much information about what I wanted and where abouts on my arm I wanted it. I got an email from Rachel a few days later confirming my appointment! I communicated with Charlotte a few times before my appointment to make sure she didn't need anymore from me before hand. The team were so good and accommodated me by giving me a Saturday appointment so I could travel up from Wexford. This was my first big piece and as soon as I got into the parlour my nerves went away! It's so lovely in there and the people who work there are so welcoming. Big bonus Edie was there! The office pup. I checked my design with Charlotte, filled out a waiver and we got straight into it. Charlotte flew through my tattoo and chatted to me the whole time which was awesome! I was distracted and we had the craic for the few hours. Charlotte was thorough with my after care and said I could contact her with any questions I might have which is a relief! 10/10 would recommend the ladies in Croi Dubh and will most definitely be going back up myself!!

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing tattoo parlour! It’s not just super aesthetic for one, but it’s also filled with extremely talented artists. I came here for my first tattoo and I felt so comfortable with Nik, she made sure to run everything by me multiple times and that she was tattooing exactly what I wanted - something that is so important when it comes to putting something permanent on your body! Would highly recommend this tattoo parlour!
