Fantastic experience: I had a fine line poppy tattoo done at Artium Ink in Exeter by tattoo artist, Chloe Gunbie. Her tattoo skills are simply exceptional! I asked for fine line and dainty with not too much shading and she designed just that. If you’re looking for a fine line tattoo artist who is extremely talented, results are flawless and who you can place your trust into to be able to walk away with a tattoo you can be happy with for life, she is the artist for you! Thank you Gunbie, your talent is amazing!

Fantastic experience: I was tattooed my Gunbie who was an absolutely amazing tattoo artist. I got exactly what I wanted and she created a design just for me. The whole atmosphere was so welcoming even was a felt a bit woozy the staff were very nice about me just laying day and waiting before we carried on. Super friendly atmosphere, kind team, beautiful work. I will definitely be getting future tattoos from here.

Fantastic experience: Second tattoo with Chloe Gunbie but first time to Artium Ink. Fantastic studio space, lovely friendly atmosphere. Very clear that cleanliness is a top priority. Chloe nailed the design brief and her fine line work is second to none. Cannot recommend her highly enough. Such a warm and friendly person who instantly puts you at ease. Would definitely return for any future work. Excellent value for money. Easy process from first contact through to finished tattoo. Aftercare very carefully explained.

Some artists are judgemental of ideas from someone else’s tattoo, but Aaron was nothing but kind, encouraging and complimentary of the piece I chose. Very kind. Took breaks when needed and the outcome was just out of this world. Cannot thank him enough and I’m so looking forward to booking in with him again!

Fantastic experience: I started going to artium ink this summer and after not getting tattooed for ten years I had built up some anxiety around being tattooed but also anxiety about the atmosphere but from the get go I felt welcomed and comfortable everyone is so friendly and you can count on having a good time with a lot of laughs. You can see all the tattoo artists have a good friendship and its generally just a nice vibe in the shop. Amy has been doing my tattoos and she is very talented always producing stunning work and always making me feel comfortable and able to express when I'm feeling anxious , will recommend getting a tattoo from her and anyone else at the studio

Fantastic experience: Was super lucky to have won a competition with Aaron Frost, I know it's most tattooists nightmare when they've been asked to finish off an unfinished tattoo by someone else however Aaron had no issues with my requests and his communication was amazing, he has also tattooed my wife and she had the same experience, wouldn't go anywhere else now!

Fantastic experience: Was recommended Aaron Frost by a different artist who thought his style would match, they weren't wrong as he's blown my expectations away with taking my weird idea and turning it to reality. A good guy too who helps put you at ease and happily going back for more soon.

Fantastic experience: Been tattooed by Aaron a few times now and I cannot fault his work. Ive had a colour piece and a black and grey piece. The colours are vibrant even 5 years and 7 years later!

Fantastic experience: Have now had 4 Tattoos done from Aaron. The latest being his own design of a crocodile. All the tattoos are great, heal nicely and honestly hes worth the money. Not only are the tats good but the studio is a vibe, making those painful hours fly by.

Fantastic experience: Superb experience from start to finish. Dris was amazing to work with, incredibly patient with my complete lack of creativity offering up some great ideas and amazing designs. To pull of this whilst also covering up and old crappy tattoo from many moons ago is nothing short of incredible. As for the studio itself, all artists and staff were very welcoming and chatty which created a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I will say however, there were some questionable movie selections throughout my sitting, you have been warned . I’m super super happy with the results Dris, thank you and see you again soon!

Fantastic experience: The whole studio is always, super clean, friendly and professional. Most of all though I have to say that claire is simply brilliant, from first conversation to hours later. Every piece is stunning and always makes me smile! The only problem is I may run out of skin because I want to keep going back!

My artist is Anthony Lennox, I've visited 3 times with more booked and he's always been attentive, great chat, an obvious talent (and his chair is right infront of a big telly which is a bonus) Highly recommend Artium Ink, very clean and relaxed atmosphere with each artist providing very varied styles. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few tattoos done elsewhere, but Artium Ink stands out as the best by far. So many studios can feel a bit stuck-up or intimidating, but not here, the atmosphere is genuinely relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. The space is spotless and well equipped, and I felt at ease within minutes. Ant’s work is next level! I’m over the moon with my piece, and it healed perfectly. Already booked in for January and can’t wait to be back!

Fantastic experience: Recently had the absolute pleasure of being tattooed by the incredible Anthony Lennox a mammoth 3 day piece, the whole experience from start to finish was perfect can’t wait to go back next month to continue the leg, on a wider note all the artist were great it’s a good environment there so would recommend anyone wanting a tattoo to contact the shop there will be an artist for you.

Fantastic experience: I have had two full day sessions with Aaron so far, working on a very old, faded tattoo, from past mistakes! Aaron works really hard at what he does and is the perfect person if you want bright, crisp, fun tattoos. My sleeve is starting to come together nicely after years of looking really crap! Artium is a lovley clean studio and you can tell all the artists are really passionate about what they do :)

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time, annual leave and money on trying to book with Aaron Frost. With absolutely no prior excuse, he just didn’t bother showing up to my whole day appointment, which was arranged months ago. I spent money on fuel, took a day off at work, rocked up at the studio on time just to receive a message with a poor excuse of childcare and mismanagement of his own diary. Zero respect for customers, didn’t even bother offering compensation for his own incompetence. I can’t use his “apologies” to take back my annual leave or the time I’ve wasted for travel. He refunded my deposit and that’s the whole affair done and dusted for him. From other reviews I wasn’t the only one tricked like this. I had wonderful prior experiences with Claire Jackson, which is why I wanted to stay loyal to Artium Ink, but after Frost’s antics, I don’t trust them anymore and will find another studio.

Fantastic experience: Amy re-worked a very questionable tattoo for me today and did an amazing job at turning it into something I can be proud to have on show (before and after photos below). Such a talented artist and so reassuring, taking time to listen and make sure you are happy and feel heard. The atmosphere at the Atrium was so friendly, making time fly (also helped by Amy completing it so quickly & efficiently!). Highly recommend ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Fantastic experience: Don’t usually write reviews but absolutely over the moon with 2 pieces. One on my upper arm and another an extremely difficult coverup on my lower arm which I thought would be impossible to do. Colour covering my arm which had a lot of black on with an amazing design. Artist was Dris. Would really recommend

Fantastic experience: Visited Aaron in August 2024 for a Blink 182 leg tattoo and finishing off some shading on a previous Bowling For Soup tattoo I’d had done elsewhere. I couldn’t have asked for it to come out any better, in fact it has by far exceeded my expectations! Aaron is a really friendly guy and made me feel completely at ease, very easy to talk to as well. Wish I could give more than 5 stars, already trying to decide what’s the next reason for coming back to see him again

Fantastic experience: So much talent under one roof! An incredible atmosphere, instantly friendly and welcoming. Perfectly clean and sterile too. Amy was (and continues to be) a wonder, creating a beautiful piece that I will treasure always. The tattoo she designed signifies my bond with my son who is sadly no longer with us. Amy was aware of this and dealt with the situation with such tact and grace, I couldn’t have asked for a more empathetic, kind and respectful artist! She explained aftercare very well and made sure I understood everything before seeing me out of the door. Lastly a huge shout out to all the artists here, I was sat in the same room with artists Dris and Ant and their clients. What could have been 5 uncomfortable hours turned into what felt like being sat with a bunch of friends, chatting, laughing and watching movies! Come for the ink. Stay for the vibes. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible place with really lovely artists who are amazingly accommodating. I was with Ant (Lennoxtattoo) who was very accommodating and helpful. Also got to chat to a couple of the other artists who were lovely and the studio itself is very nice. Overall a very nice experience and I really recommend it!

Negative experience: Attended this morning for a 1/2 day session. My Wife was booked for the second half of the day, both with Aaron. He was a no-show, with zero communication prior to travel to the venue. Booked in August 2023!! Albeit deposit was returned, it doesn't account for the long wait period and wasted holiday & travel.

Both Ant and Dris who were friendly welcoming and more than professional. The studio was wonderful both in look and vibe. The tattoo is top tier and I cannot recommend this studio and the artists enough. Even if one of them does have freakishly small hands…..

Fantastic experience: Wow what an experience. Had a two day sitting (23rd and 24th June 2023) with Ant @lennoxtattoo and he is a down to earth guy. Ant is a true artist and has left what I can only describe as a masterpiece on my left arm. If you get a chance to sit for Ant or any of the fantastic tattooist in this shop.

Fantastic experience: I have recently had my first tattoo done at artium ink and I couldn't be more impressed I was a little apprehensive at first (as most people would be) but that soon went away once the process started as soon as I started I was welcomed in and was immediately set at ease. I had two days in a row booked in and it went so fast! This was due to the professional yet relaxed atmosphere from all the artists. I couldn't recommend any of the artists enough! My tattoo was done by the very talented Anthony Lennox who after a chat designed exactly what I wanted and it honestly exceeded all my expectations he absolutely smashed it from designing to actually tattooing it. My experience was great And I can't thank everyone enough the atmosphere was great! looking forward to booking my next one! In my opinion this is what all tattoo shops should strive to be like!

Negative experience: I don't think I'll ever be coming back, this is my first ever experience with going to get a tattoo and it has been a terrible one. I've just turned up for my appointment for a very meaningful tattoo only to find out that it had been double booked! I was meant to be in for an all day appointment, this has been planned and the booking fee paid for back in June! I travelled over 6 hours for it, been up since 5 am and paid over £60 in travel to be turned away, I was so excited and I was instead left making my way back to the station in tears and incredibly angry. I get people make mistakes but that is ridiculous, I think I will be finding a different place to get it done.

Fantastic experience: Been going to some artists for years here and have never been able to fault them! Everyones always so nice and professionally friendly! Had a few throughout the years here. Working with Aaron for the first time last week was great, a fantastic artist with an amazing ability to just "get you" when you have no idea how to explain what you want! He exceeded all expectations!! (He did my dinosaur) Steph recently did my tequila shot, a clean, fun and cute image off her flash page, professional and quick! And Claire has done a lot on me since meeting over 10 years ago! All of the pieces I have had here have healed fantastically, no problems at all. I have always been treated amazingly, with a professional, fun atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely fantastic. The artists are at the very top of their class, the fish Dave & Steve are super friendly. The candle makers are awesome. 20 tattoos later and I’m still going back! Probably the best tattoo studio in the universe!! Seriously go get them!!!

Fantastic experience: My first time visiting the studio, clean, friendly, easy to find and cheap parking a short walk away which is a bonus in Exeter. Ant (Anthony Lennox) came up with a vibrant design based on great communication via Instagram DMs. Throughout the session he would always check how you're feeling, did you need a break, this bit will probably hurt etc. A real friendly vibe. Plenty of chat and a great artist. I'll definitely be going back, thanks everyone.

Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo from Anthony Lennox (@lennoxtattoo instagram) and yet again it's incredible. I've had 2 half sleeves and a thigh piece done by Ant - his work is incredibly clean, well saturated, his designs are outstanding and he's a lovely guy. Can't recommend enough! He works incredibly fast in comparison to other artists and doesn't sacrifice anything to work this quickly. My full colour half sleeve was finished in a single day sitting and it's perfect! The atmosphere of the studio is great - very chilled and clean! There was not a single point through the entire day where I was worried about awkward conversation or boredom. Exactly what other studios should aim to be! 10/10 - If you're debating getting a tattoo from Ant - absolutely do it- it's worth the travel/money!

Negative experience: Went onto Artiums website to go about booking an appointment. Decided to book an appointment with Aaron Frost. The only way to contact is him is via messenger, Instagram or Twitter. I messaged him via messenger. Basically been trying to book some kind of appointment since the 10th November with no success till today (17th November). Now given up.
