Fantastic experience: I have been going to Megan for two years and every single experience I've had with her has been absolutely wonderful! She makes you feel so welcome and I always look forward to seeing her. The fact I only had my first ear lobe piercings done before going to Ink and now I have 2nds, 3rds, 3 helixes, a daith, a nostril and a septum (all done by Megan!) is a testament to how enjoyable she manages to make a needle being stuck into you be! I honestly couldn't recommend her enough.

Negative experience: Very sad about my piercings :( Whilst I was actually getting my piercings done, the experience was great. They were super friendly and made me feel at ease. However, the piercer kept commenting on how small my belly button was yet proceeded with a normal piercing anyway. After a long time of pain and not healing, my piercing started rejecting (after migrating to look really wonky). I had cared for it really well with consistent cleaning. Having gone to get my piercing redone today, I was told I have the wrong anatomy for normal belly piercing jewellery since my belly button is too small! They said it would most likely lead to rejection and that they could tell from my scarring that it rejected previously. They said it should never have been pierced with that jewellery originally :( I also got a cartilage piercing at ink and it got so infected within a week of piercing. I emailed about this and they said it wasn't infected if it wasn't bleeding (even though it was full of pus). I then went to the doctors (because I couldn't move my head without it really throbbing and it was about twice the size of my other ear) who said it was very infected and required antibiotics. After these two experiences I don't trust their judgements anymore, and I recommend that you research your anatomy if you still want to get pierced here!

Fantastic experience: Megan pierced my nose this week and she is fabulous. I was quite nervous and she made me feel totally at ease immediately. She was kind and so professional. No pain (my eyes did water a bit) and no bleeding. Excellent aftercare advice and no issues at all so far. She came on a recommendation from a friend and I would not hesitate recommend myself also.

I’ve come here multiple times for tattoos with Abbi (which have all been amazing and healed beautifully, she takes such pride in her work and is very knowledgeable in her after care) however this time I went for a piercing with Meg! She was very kind, chatty, comforting and incredibly patient with me and gave me lots of after care advice! She truly made the whole experience very calm ! She's friendly, funny and thoughtful and will ask how you'd prefer to be punctured (countdown, keep talking, etc.). She is helpful with aftercare and just generally brilliant. I had a small issue and when cleaning one of my new piercings I pulled it through the skin (ouch). They got me back in the next day without an appointment just to help me get my bar properly back in.
