Fantastic experience: I've had several tattoos done by Chris Hatton, and I just want to say how talented and skilled an artist he is, and how lovely a person he is also. I struggle with mental health and Addison’s Disease, which can be overwhelming for some people, but Chris made me feel welcome and comfortable. I recommend Physical Graffiti to anyone looking to get tattoos done by professional artists in a supportive environment.

Fantastic experience: I got my eyebrow done there and she was so good at doing it, I barely felt any pain. It's been about 2 and a half months since I had it done. She positioned it perfectly, sitting perfectly above and below my eyebrow, I've changed it out since then to something more my style, when you get it done, she gives you a high quality titanium piercing. Honestly l will go back there for any future piercings.

Fantastic experience: A superb tattoo shop, firstly the shop is very clean, great location and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Secondly the tattoo artist who i used was chris hatton who is one amazing artist. A very friendly, helpful and a genuine all-round nice guy. He has done numerous cover-ups for me now, also some new pieces and all i can say is what an amazing job he has done. The work he had to do was in no way any easy, but he advised me on certain things throughout and the outcome is just brilliant. My old tattoos were awful ( as unfortunately i didnt do my homework on the artists i used previously ) and now all have been replaced with some amazing artwork. Please all take note…Its very important especially if its your first tattoo, to look for artists with a good name and good reviews!! I really highly recommend visiting chris if you’re looking for an elite artist/new tattoo/cover-up and pay a visit to physical graffiti! Thanks again to all :)

Fantastic experience: I've been thinking about a nose piercing for a while and kept talking myself out of it. Messaged for price and was advised that there was a slot available in an hour. Decided its now or never so booked it. Eliza made me feel at ease and was extremely informative, making the whole process fast and painless. Highly recommended, especially if you are older and don't like motorbikes

Fantastic experience: Daughter has her second earlobe piercings here- great service and they answered all her questions and put her at total ease as she was a little nervous! A month on and the piercings have healed so well! No pain or infection at all! I’ve had both my girls ears pierced and this experience has been the best so far, wished we’d used them from the start as I’m sure it would’ve saved a lot of tears!

Negative experience: Took time off work, came to the studio to have a full day of tattooing to find out, that receptionist double booked and I won’t be able to have it done. I’ve lost quite a bit of money, as I’m self employed and was really looking forward to have my old tattoo sorted. My advice, take your business elsewhere.

Positive experience: Can't complain only went in for piercings which have healed well and Eliza is lovely. I have to say though there is a strange and not overly friendly atmosphere in the shop. Hearing other tattooist on their break sat on the sofas in the reception part slagging off other artists was super off putting. I'm a tattoo collector myself so it was a bit disappointing as I have been looking at going there for some time to visit a particular artist...but the ego of some put me right off returning for any work.

I definitely won't be going anywhere else!. I had my tattoo done by Ian, he created an amazing design and made sure everything was right, took the time to ensure I was happy with the tattoo and comfortable at each stage and throughout. So many amazing and talented artists there and there's so many inspiring designs, sketches, film and tattoo memorabilia surrounding you in the shop. I love my new tattoo, so impressed and the whole experience was brilliant!. Thank you Highly recommend !!.

Negative experience: Mermaid Rae has mishandled my complaint and I want to share my disappointment. I have had 10 piercings done by Rae, I met her through friends recommendation. 4 of the piercings were lower lobe ones. Most of the piercings I have had have been with really good & positive results. However, my daith was problematic and had to be removed. Rae has offered to redo my daith piercing but I lost confidence in her ability to do this properly. The first time she pierced me twice, it bled a lot and it had a nasty bump. My new piercer removed it and it was embedded in my ear. Rae denied it was infected when I saw her. Rae is new in business and I understand that. However when managing complaints, although I had a lengthy detailed response it wasnt resolved. Furthermore I ordered a LeRoi piercing which I was overcharged for. Its not worth £140 (inc my contribution on the import charges). I had the wrong sized attachment placed on my right upper helix so the piercing couldn't heal or be properly cleaned. The jewellery isnt good quality and I deeply regret spending so much money on substandard jewellery. I purchased a raffle ticket and won the prize. After failing to post to the right address, Rae received the item back in the package and wanted to sell it. This is not a professional response that I expected. I did receive the prize but Ive contested that its not 14k rose gold! When I have had positive visits, I have shared these experiences on Facebook and Instagram. Rae has benefitted from my repeated visits and recommendations. What a shame that we couldn't resolve the complaint I issued. Im unable to recommend any one to Rae as I dont believe she offers reliable aftercare and isnt prepared to accept any fault or feedback when passed on. Friends of mine have also had problems with their piercings and yes we do clean them with stericlens. I have followed all the recommended aftercare. Going forward Im seeing a UKAPP member based in Cardiff and will continue to do so. Many lessons learnt here! Go for quality jewellery, service and aftercare every time.

Negative experience: Only went in to enquire about a particular piercing but felt like the piercer (female with orange hair) was looking down her nose at us. Poor attitude, everyone else in the store seemed friendly enough. Being kind costs nothing. Acting superior to your client definitely will cost you business. Disappointed

Fantastic experience: I’ve had two tattoos here by Chris and with my second tattoo I brought my fiancé along to get a tattoo too. Clean studio and waiting area, Chris is an amazing artist and I’m really happy with my tattoos. I get lots of compliments on them and always tell my friends about PG. I look forward to going back in the future and completing the bottom of my arm. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I had a piercing with Rae today and she was brilliant. Everything was really clean and she was very informative throughout, also providing an aftercare appt in a few weeks, as well as giving me written information on how to care for my piercing, and a few things to get me started with it. I'll definitely be going back to Rae for all my future piercings, out of everyone I've ever been to, she really is the best.

Fantastic experience: I came here for my first tattoo after it being recommended by several people. The reception/waiting area is a decent size and the staff are all helpful and chatty. The shop have several artists specialising in different art styles. Ian Turner did my tattoo and after giving him a design similar to what I wanted, he came up with a unique piece that looked stunning. I booked the whole day with Ian at a very reasonable rate and he managed to finish the while thing in that time. Its been healing for 3 weeks now and is looking absolutely perfect. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a great looking tattoo and at a great price.

Negative experience: Went in there to see if they were able to help me with a tattoo I wanted to get. Guy behind the counter had an attitude, told me to go on their instagram to look at designs as what I was looking for wouldn't be in their portfolio in the shop. I asked then if I could get something touched up on the availability of any free slots that day and he said they were booked up until March 2019. I ended up leaving the shop very disappointed and deflated as they were no help at all, wasn't expecting this after I heard really good things about the place. Will try a tattooist elsewhere in future.

Fantastic experience: I had my first tattoo here by Tash in 2014 and today had 3 piercings by Rae. Everyone us really nice and professional. Lots of artists doing different styles so plenty of choice. To the reviewer with the blue arm - that's blowout. It's not the tattooists fault, it's your body dealing with the ink. Like how a bruise can migrate, so can the ink. It sucks but they can't predict it .

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough about this place, some of the gnarliest guys and girls, all welcoming and extremely skilled at what they do and such an amazing vibe. The place is clean and they take hygiene very seriously. Been going there for 4/5 years now and can't recommend it enough.

Positive experience: Ok so I had my first tattoo from here almost 2 years ago. They were friendly and proffesional. At the time I had some pretty bad bruising but I thought this was normal so I ignored it. Skip to now, all the skin around the tattoo is permanently stained blue. The lines have all run into one another which i expected eventually, but all the skin around the lines which have leaked is all stained blue as well. The biggest patch strecthes about 20mmx30mm above the sun. There is nothing that can be done about this unless I have it covered, and other artists said basically the bloke has been too heavy handed. Shame because they looked great when they were first done. The pictures are of the bruises I had and of the staining of the skin now.
